Are there any rules on how powerful a competing character may be?

I would consider Shadowveil a bit too powerful, but I don't want to send in Sekhmet just to see her get burned to a crisp.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but it's something that I've forgotten and it's probably a question that a few other people will want to ask:

May a person only compete in either the individual tournament or the team tournament, or are they able to compete in both?

If memory serves, contestants can compete in both. This was decided due to the fact that we thought we wouldn't get enough people for the teams. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

True the Tournament is meant to test the strength of the person, not the character, I think it would be giving some people too much of a crutch to allow them to tag team in member's of their arsenal.

Let's take Danikat for example. Is it fair to allow her to bring in one of her dragons if her Danikat get's injured to grant her time to heal herself? Or is it just part of the game.

I"m leaning towards making it a case by case basis. Like with Whiteoak and Obed, both of them can take a pretty good stand by themselves, without any assistance from the others. But Danikat (the character) has a closer bond with her dragons, and if Katy was to keep it real, not having her dragons would affect the character.

I suppose the real question to answer is this: Are we testing the strength of the Character, or the Person. Considering the goal is to test the strength of the person, I think I might have to allow tag team entries. However, I'd like to discuss this further.

Maybe a separate tag team tournament should be set up...

Now that would be interesting.

Would like to see that happen. Either two characters per person, or two people per tag team....

What does everyone think? Then you'd have a separate individual and tag team event.....
