With the permission of Goron, I am proposing Churitsu (myself) as the leader of The Guardians.

Churitsu's the lone Guardian of Neutrality (Like how Embri was a Guardian of Light, there are three Guardian teams), dedicating her immortal life to keeping the balance within wherever she resides. If, perchance, she ends up here, with all these people stuggling to work together against the combined forces of the Corperation and the EC, she most likely would attempt to lead them all as a group, under one law: To protect the balance of the Dojo, to make sure that the 'rival' factions both stay together and not take over. Her instincts as a wolftaur compell her to be a part of a pack, after all.

As also, I propose an EC-style hierarchy: A 'headmaster', a 'second-in-command', six 'Elites', and the rest of the group. The 'Elites' would be the group to vote in things that would be minor changes, while the rest of the group would be the one to vote on extreme, drastic things, such as in voting in a new 'headmaster' or 'Elites', or voting in a new hosting site or others. The 'headmaster' would stay in until he or she resigns, the 'SIC', being chosen by the 'headmaster', lasting until either he/she or the 'headmaster' resigns. The 'Elites', however, are voted in yearly. One could stay an 'elite' for an infinite amount of time, if he/she could keep the votes flowing. The titles, of course, will most likely be changed.

I speak this from experience being an EC member from 2003-present, being one of the first Elites. I have seen the many changes in the EC, from being a one-man show led by End, to the eight-person organized democracy it is today, led by Fort, Addman, and the six elites.

This is just my opinion on the situation, and so will likely be mocked as it usually is.

I think it a bad idea to have a single leader of this group, especially so soon. We all have different ideas on what we want this to be, and to give one person more power than others over it while it is still forming is hardly fair. We have not yet decided what our purpose is, let alone that we will be guardians of the Dojo.

I must admit that I don't know you, Shaon, having never gamed with or against you. However, I am uncomfotable having someone assume the role of our first, and permanent, Headmaster, who has been so recently a part of the ruling group of the EC.

If I were a suspicious man, I might look upon this as the perfect way to undermine everything we might try to do to balance the influence of the Evil Council.

I would be interested in learning more about this person who would ask us for our trust. Does anyone else know this person and wish to tell us more information. I would find that helpful.

I think it is a good point, this group has barely started, I barely know much about the character... I've seen a little roleplay by Shaon, and, she is a decent rper...

But it is early, and we have almost no purpose or aims. If you think about it, the EC's aims are to cuase mischief, mayhem and general problems for all...

I can hardly agree with an early vote, and, I'm not sure I agree with a single headmaster in this case, especially as one of my chars, Mr. Hyameo, is going to be funding and supplying technology to The Gaurdians.

So, logically, shouldn't he have a status of power...?

Once everyones settled, and there's a purpose, the heirarchy, if there is to be one, should be discussed fully....

I have a different Idea, one that you'll probably like better. Instead of instating any kind of hierarchy just yet, set up one person to "Coordinate" all of this set up activity. Just a person to keep track of what you've got done, what you need to get done, and how to get there.

Granted most of you don't know Shaon, I can tell you I do. She is an excellent RP'er, having helped me form many of the ideas about the Immortals and Psychotopia. She also knows the difference between shaon the EC member, Shaon the Guardian member, and Shaon the real life person.

She is also an excellent leader, as she said she's had years of experience with the EC, and helped me out immensly when I was headmaster. She knows from experience what makes a group like these work, and work well. Have her help you coordinate things, and draw from her wisdom and experience. You will be better off for it.

Watching these reactions has raised some interesting points. It's got me thinking. And I'm pretty sure that this next point is going to bring some controversey. Feel free to protest or support at will.

The leader of the Guardians should a pure Guardian, as in not affiliated with another RPing group. We want the leader to put the interests of the Guardians before those of any other group. The very least they should not be in a position of power in the other groups...

I mean if you're the leader you might be expected to be seen on the Olympic Team Wink

Actually, Goron, the leader would be more likely expected to be a judge of the Olympics.

I, personally, believe that it doesn't matter who you're afflated with. I mean, if it's a rival group, then make sure the person is absolutely trustworthy.

Anyway, the large majority of the Guardians are EC members, leaving I believe only you, Shine, and maybe Shadowveil.

ACTUALLY, If you are going to have a team in the Olympics, I'd expect you to also have a judge, to make sure at least one judge is in your favor if another judge starts doing biased calls.
