A Dark Shade Of Violet

((Two problems with that concept, Net. A) Arnott has yet to see the Sanity Blade, and B) Blackfoot's curse (the one preventing him from using magic or magical items) would react the same way to a blow from a magical sword that it would if he were to try to hold a magical sword. It would fly away at a rapid speed away from him. ))

Arnott, mumbling, lets go off Au'Mauri's hand, and kind of just hangs there, pointlessly, the copycat blade just swinging in his tiny paw. He tries to imagine what his parents would do. And that's when he starts to feel a tingle in his hand.

He remembers the way he's seen his mother fight, and boy, she wasn't to be upset, ever. He remembers her weapon, the pain flail, causes insurmountable amounts of pain to who ever is struck by it.

Then, with a slight jangle, the sword appears to have transformed, and seems to be moving around slightly, almost snake like. He looks from it, to Au'Mauri, and raises a tiny eyebrow, mischeviously.

As DP announces to Vilet and Blackfoot to begin fighting, on a radical whim, he whips the flail at first at Au'Mauri's leg, tiny in his hands, but, the effects of the weapon itself is his aim...

Violet, completely against her nature, dives to one side, albeit, undignified, and lands with an oomph. Laying on the ground, she stares at Blackfoot, and quick as flash, (she might be a little uptight, but she is her mothers daughter) she passes a hand downwards over her eyes, and then sharply points a finger at Blackfoot, saying "Lunar Eclipse..."

((Thats a personaised spell for blindness, which, considering her skill level, should at least, last three posts, if, magic itself affects Blackfoot, I know you said items don't, but I have no idea about magic itself...))

((NO, there's still the BFG, the Cornelius Time Bomb, the Atomizer (which you still have yet to find in my lab), and a whole score of other treats left for you guys to find that would work on a magical-resistant monster))

*DP catches the tiny movement out of the corner of his eye, and moves his leg back ever so slightly, causing the flail to miss and swing back to Arnott*

Foolish spirit, You aren't going ot win. But just to be safe, I invented this a while back, testing it on myself back when I was a spirit. It will hold you, until I tell it not to.

*DP grabs at thin air, and pulls out what looks like a pill capsule. He then drops it onto Arnott. Upon inpact, a small flash of light is released, and Arnott is trapped inside a phosforesent bubble.*

BTW, what about your response as Blackfoot? Huh, huh huh?! ))

Arnott tried to speak against anything Au'Mauri was going to do, but it was too late, the pill capsule is dropped onto him, and now he's stuck in a floating bubble. He decided to try and test it, and Au'Mauri.

Trying to get himself to float, he tries to make the bubble float also. He bangs on the side, gasping for air, and holding his neck, as if to signify suffocation, hoping pity will be taken upon him..

*DP simply looked at Arnott incredulously.*

Do you think me an idiot? You're an Immortal, you don't need air!

*Blackfoot also dodges to one side (the one opposite Violet), but his landing was somewhat more graceful, doing a flip to end back up on his feet. The Blindness spell, in turn, misses him and makes a random red belt up in the stands blind. Blackfoot knew he was going to have to be careful. He decides he would have the best chance of avoiding spells if he took to the air, and as such, he starts flapping his massive wings, lifting himself into the air. Once a suitable heigth, he starts diving down, hoping to pin Violet between his legs and end this fight.*

*The time-distorted messenger imps were incredibly complex. Perhaps too complex. For you see, the imps controling them weren't very bright, and on occasion they'd stuff something up. Changing the brightness, messing up the alignments or in this case, blowing up Violet's room.*

Arnott stops gasping, and stares right back at DP, grinning widely, "You can't blame a furball for trying, can you? I only want to help my sis. It's the only way out for me...."

Violet in the meanwhile, would have smiled embarrassedly at the crowd, but, there was a giant, flapping gargoyle flying for her. She quickly digs her hand into her satchell, realising he was too quick for spells, and flinging out her hand towards Blackfoot, unleashes a medly of powders into the air, some rough and coarse, some smooth.

These powders have no magical effect to them, as they are all natural. Again, one in general causes blindness, and floats through the air like dust, so anyone could easily be affected by it unless having taken an antidote that secretes a liquid over their eyes.

One affects rock beings, possibly gargoyles ((you decide...)) and makes their hard skin weak, thus causing a painful chafing in that form.

Another is a sedative. Explains itself.

A final powder just causes a difficulty breathing, and spreads thickly through the air...
