The Birth of the Guardians

((In order to come up with a cool RP explination for the creation of the Guardians, I have created this RP. Anyone can participate, but you must play as a member of the group your character belongs to. If at some point during the RP you wish to be recruited, please go join and then continue the RP.

Anyone can join in, and feel free to oppose us... *looks at Fort's merry men*. It should end with the creation of the group, and hopefully the construction of our HQ... but if all fails and our enemys destroy us, then at least we will have made a cool RP out of it.))

The city of Forumopolis lay in ruins. Bodies of various creatures littered the landscape. Buildings lay, smashed to the ground during the final conclusive battle. Forests were burnt. All signs that civilization had existed there was gone. It truely had been the bloodiest battle the world ever saw (any civilians looking on in total awe had been killed).

It was the end of the Gameware versus EC war. Goron surveyed the battlefield with Shadow by his side. He stared in awe at the vast wasteland that had once been the world's greatest city. It was a terrible sight.

"Such a thing must never be allowed to happen again, Shadow."

"Ooogle," the Grendel responded in agreement.

"The EC is still out there, and if no one stands up to them, there is nothing to stop this from happening again. However... you and I can't do it alone."

"Grah"

Shadow leapt up onto Goron's shoulder and the pair strood down the hill, to search for survivors, and to see if there was anyone who would pro tect this world along side them.

((You'll notice I never specified who won the GW vs EC war.))

((But with Forumopolis in ruins, it's pretty much an EC win, since that was our aim in the first place . Well, actually, our original aim was to enslave you all and force you to do menial tasks which we didn't want to do (read the first post, made by Addman), but that eventually become the total destruction of Forumopolis. So we won! Wooooooo!

However, I find this aftermath RP idea to be really cool - I won't be posting as of yet, since there's some stuff that's happening to HollowEyes and Little Sister atm which makes their futures 'uncertain', but I'll be watching...))

((Oh whatever, you didn't kill everyone. GW could have killed the entire EC, but the point is the city was destroyed in the process. Good job. ))

((Yes, because the current situation is totally going GW's way Besides, the fact that you said that "the EC is still out there" is a fair indicator that we aren't all dead anyways.

Well, all that aside, it's a pretty realistic scenario. I'm pretty sure that everyone participating would have caused their fair share of collateral damage around Forumopolis.))

[Leporidae]

A few of the rocks started to crumble and move. A Blue furry hand with green stripes shoots out of the rocks. Could it be one of the EC, or GW? A weak voice shouts out "Help! Help me! I'm still alive! Someone help!"

[Cirrial]

A figure, arriving unseen or untouched stepped out of concealment. A lumbering spherical shape with two clunky, large cannon-sized arms and strong sturdy looking legs.

A central window in the hub of the figure displayed a cetacean face, eyes distant yet focused. Speakers engage.

"Is... *crackle* is it over? Is this... appalling destruction... is the bloodshed finished?" I have seen carnage like this once before... the Omegalith...

The exobody's sensors relay useful data and Naine engages motors, sprinting over to the rock pile containing a trapped sentient. He jumps on the top of the rock pile, aided by upthrust from jet-pods on the sides of the legs. The gausser weapons that are his arms retract, with thick three-pronged claws replacing them. Tirelessly and effortlessly Naine picks up each individual rock, throwing it a fair distance, before managing to free the creature.

"You. Were you a witness to this conflict? What was its cause? Who were the combatants?"

Gentlemen, a toast to evil!

*The EC raised their glasses to a job well done. Although their prime directives were not entirely fulfilled, they felt triumphant due to the complete devastation which had been left in their wake. Forumopolis has fallen, therefore, The Council were jubilant.*

Grunt: Sir!

Addman: What?

Grunt: Something has shown up on the long range scan from the remains of Forumopolis.

Addman: It's probably grit again. Last time you said we were being ambushed by seven black holes, which turned out to be pebbles on the scanner scope.

Grunt: But sir, this is an unknown object. It appears to be giving off high levels of a previously unknown energy source.

Addman: Is it dangerous?

Grunt: We don't know for sure, but a few of our scientists want to test it. They believe this energy could be used for new weapons and to power the cave's systems more efficiently, if it can be harnessed correctly. It appears to be emitted from a source point, suggesting an artifact or object of some kind is the generator.

Addman: Well send Cornelius in first to find it and see if it's safe to handle. We'll send in a few more soldiers once he has scouted out the source. There may still be a lot of enraged survivors down there, so we may need to use brute force to obtain it.

Grunt: Yes sir!

*Cornelius stared out over the barren landscape. His thermal goggles picked up several heat sources in the distance, but this may be still warm debris from the previous battle. He checked his coordinates and began his journey through the rubble of Forumopolis*

[Jent]

A few pieces of rock fell down off a big rock wich was a ball of ice instead,with some thing a alive in it.

[Goron40]

((Hey I dunno about you, but Shadow and I holding our own agains t Panther who, mind you, is eight stories tall. I'd say that part of GW still has some fight in it.))

Goron stumbled over to the rock pile which was crying out for help. A furry hand protruted from it. EC or otherwise, Goron was not one to leave someone under a pile of rocks unless he had put them there.

He and Shadow began carefully removing rocks from the pile, freeing Lep from it.

[Leporidae]

Lep climbs out of the rocks, scratched and brusied badley. Breathing heavely, she uses her torn-up wings to stand up. Only half-dead, she began to speak. "The EC . . . we didn't have a chance . . . to stop . . . you." After that point she fell next to cornelius, pushing him down a big steep cliff of coninceidence.
(Yes, that IS possible) After that point, she fell unconcious, due to blood loss.

[addman]

*Cornelius was not paying attention to his surroundings and was shunted from behind by an unknown entity. He fell several feet towards the solid concrete below*

ARGGGH!

*A sickening crack made Cornie wince even before he felt the pain. That was going to be one sore spinal column in the morning. At least he survived, which going by Cornelius' track record, is somewhat of an achievement. Groggily, he climbed to his feet, his back slightly hunched over to try and ease the pain marginally. He dragged his feet across the assortment of rubble and dust underneath, and made his way to his destination. Approximately half a mile east from his location.*

[Cirrial]

Naine stands, observing the carnage with burning interest.

And then a tiny cluster of long-range sensors tell him of a specific figure quite a distance away.
A figure all too familiar. Evoking memories of combat in a place untied to the boundries of the flow of time... A large mountain, with two ropes... a plummet.

A blue blur. A weapon of darkness, shifting the ground itself. Grenades of particles, clogging systems, strangling him from within.

Death in their hands. Death. Destruction. And the evil, the evil that could be sensed by Naine's mind alone, without the aid of complex and intricate instruments.

His eyes burn with rage and his speakers screech feedback as their volume increases. He raises his arm-cannons in the sky, looking upwards.

"ADDMAN! AAADDMAAANN!"

((Best to think of this being shouted in a "Khan" style >_>))

[Goron40]

"Wait... wha?" Goron mumbled as Lep fell to the ground. Not getting a response, he sighed and turned to Shadow.

"Let's bandage her up..."

The pair of them constructed some makeshift bandages to slow the bleeding. Shadow went to go look for water, while Goron stayed with Lep.

Shadow returned carrying a bucket of water that he had gotten from the destroyed fount ain near the middle of the park.

[Embri]

And so, it begins...

Twin arcs of fire cross the stormy grey sky above the remains of Forumopolis. Embri wings after her heart bonded ashke, sensing and echoing Angel's own violent feelings.

Much has changed below them, since they had last left this battlefield. Many good people and creatures had perished. Once, Embri might have cared. Indeed, she might have grieved for their loss. Now, she did not care - her only thoughts were to fight, and to feed. The foal growing inside her demanded a lot of energy, and she was driven to provide.

Little moved in the ruins of Forumopolis. A familiar scent caught the unicorn's attention - burning meat. Swooping down on the source of the smell, Embri finds a burning carcass of some large animal, little remaining to make it identifiable. Burying her muzzle in the hot flesh, Embri strips meat from the bones with obvious delight.

[Jent]

*When Embri was eating,the ice rock was only a couple feet away from her.Now it is glowing on and off....like for help.And while doing this it was creating masses of power.*

(Note.Some creatuure is doing it.)
