With summer vacations and school breaks and whatever, I wonder if it might be a good idea to have a place to post when folks are going to be gone for a while. They could post info on when they will be leaving, when they expect to be back and conditions for their characters in ongoing RPs. I know I'll have times over the summer, and I just saw a post (I think real) by Goron that he'd be gone for, like, 2 weeks, and he's running a veritable army in the Corp Dev. thread.
Sudden, unexplaned, disappearances can wreck havoc on a good story line, and also, when someone just stops posting you wonder what's happened with them.
This would help keep thing clear. What do you folks think???

It's a good idea, but really what are you gonna do about the story while someone is away.
By the way, I may be on vacation but I can usually find my way to a computer (Like now I'm on my Grandpa's).

I support the idea... Plus, those going on extensive week or two vacations could easily give control of their character to someone they trust.
Also, a summary for when the said mun/wun returns of any rps they've been in could be posted into their abscence thread, thus allowing them to rapidly catch up to what maybe a fast paced rp...
On top of that, it is a general courtesy thing too....

Thats a very good idea.
I esspecially like the idea of helping people catch up to RPs they were a part of. I've been trying to catch up with the Corperate Development RP as much as possible but 'real' life keeps getting in my way. It looks like I may have to drop out of it all together, which is a shame as I enjoyed the part I was in and enjoyed reading the rest.

Does that mean Tywys and company are leaving me to the Gorons!?!
