A sad day in an Incarnadine land.

A great tragedy has befallen us...The Incarnadine forum databases have been wiped. Both the real forum, and the preview forum's data has been lost. I have unfortunately not kept any backups.

I am truely sorry to all those that participated in the RP Tournament, as they no longer stand. I will announce the results I have given out, however.

DP won against Vromoth. 8.5 - 7.3 I think (I did this this afternoon).
Shee Mon won against Spook.
Against all odds, Cirrial won against Addman. It was very close.
Unfortunately, the other two contestants were never judged.

Again, my apologies to you all, particularly the RP Tournament competitors.

This is a prime example of "good and bad news".

The good news is YAY I WON I AM SO HAPPY.

But the bad news is Incarnadine is dead. And this makes me very sad. Not leastly because it was the first place I ever held some sort of authority and responsibility and felt priveleged to take part in the forum maintenance.

I never did get a chance to maintain the forums. It had few members and has now died an abrupt, yet quiet, death.

I only hope there will be reincarnation, but for some reason (I don't know, maybe I'm cynical or jaded), I don't think it's likely.

It will be back. Not today, probably not tomorrow, maybe not even this week, but it will.

Unfortunately none of the data will be on there, so it will be fresh and different. I'll also take the oppurtunity to install some more mods for it. Eventually I'm going to make my own forum system, and run it on that. I say I, but it's I and a very good friend of mine that shall be doing it. He doesn't visit Blackstar.

I plan for the creation of a module in my forum system that can import from PHPBB installs, so I should be able to keep it at smooth as possible. We shall see, if and when.

Why don't we just continue the whole thing on Blackstar?

I mean, you'll probably be wanting to take your time with your new forum Al, and you probably don't want us all nagging you whilst you do it, and since everyone who's participating in it comes on here anyway, wouldn't it be easier to just keep going?

Maybe give Shaon and GBE a "sudden death" kind of match (not literally) - like 3-5 posts doing a specific task, or something along those lines, to judge them?

Personally, I'd like to get started on the team tournament soon as well.

Anyone consider Me in all this. Me, Al, and the EC needs to talk about this before any actions are made. It would mean transfering power as lead judge to me, which also means that the Gameware team would be down a player...Which is something I bet none of you considered.
