((Alright, I feel I can publish this, now that I've blown my cover in the wilds...))
Contrary to what the records show, Goron and Shadow's first adventure to Blackstar did not start with them proceeding from the GW vs EC thread. Their warp to the wilds was no mere coiencidence. Allow me to begin...
PROLOUGE: On the Shee Star Ship (Continued from the Full Origins of Goron and Shadow)
Shadow and Goron stood before another warp. Goron picked up Shadow and smiled at his new friend.
"Shall we?"
"Push portal," Shadow said in agreement.
The pair stepped through the portal, onto new adventures.
---
Goron and Shadow swirled through the mist and tumbled out in a thick forest. The two of them got to their feet and observed their surroundings. The only thing of note was a small box labeled, "Suggestions" on a nearby tree, and it was empty.
"Alright... now what? We're stranded in the middle of nowhere with nothing but wilderness for miles around..."
"Shadow hungry."
"I just fed you literally 5 minutes ago Shadow," Goron grumbled. But he dug into his pocket and removed a peice of cheese nonetheless.
As the grendel munched on the cheese, a large explosion rocked the nearby woods. Goron dragged Shadow into a clearing to find a mech firing shells and various otehr things at a group of humans, who were attempting to escape into the trees.
"Oh good, some excitment."
Goron drew his sword and passed behind the mech, butting it at it's ankles as he did. The mech dropped to it's knees and it's pilot ejected, sending him flying into a nearby tree. Goron rushed over and took a look at him. He was unconcious.
Shadow had located the humans hiding in the bushes. There were five of them, and looked unsure we ther they had just got out of the frying pan and into the fire. Goron decided to make them realize he was not an enemy.
"Erm, hi!" he started, "My name is Geneitcally Outlined Recon Operative Number Four Zero... eh... Goron will suffice."
One of them stepped foward.
"Nice to meet you, and thank you for saving us. We are escaped scientists who were being held captive at the Corporation," he explained.
"The Corporation?"
"Well I figured you wouldn't know what that was you don't seem to be from around here," the scientist said, looking at Goron's strange outfit, "Well the Corporation is a large company that owns pretty much everything. We worked there in their weapons development, cloning, and warp departments. They were planning to invade the land of Blackstar... that's here by the way... and expand, destroying much as they did.
I just couldn't live with helping that, so me and my fellow scientists here escaped. Obviously this did not go unnoticed, so they sent a mech after us. We're just scientists after all, one mech would have done us in. We're very lucky that you showed up.
Anyways, our escape should set them back about five years, by then they should have caught up and be ready to expand again."
"I see... you mentioned cloning. I was cloned, and genetically altered to be faster, stronger, and more durable than a normal human," Goron stated proudly.
"Yes I figured," the scientist responded, "No normal human your age could have such skill without such abilities.
We were planning on forming a resistance movement, but we weren't sure how we were going to feild the army... erm would you mind if we use you as a cloning base? We could make the clones even stronger than you and would make you the commander of the army."
Goron stared. Him? Commander of a clone army? Hell yeah!
"Of course! I would love to assist you in any way I can."
"Very good... now we'll need some supplies to get started."
--- 4 years later ---
Four years and a hell of a lot of cloning later, the X-GORON army was at a million strong. Their fortress stood unbeknowest to anyone in Blackstar, altough it had been built through some rather questionable means...
Goron and Shadow drove through the iron gate in the newly developed P-178, aka, the Pizzamobile. Disguised as a delivery truck, this vechile was able to morph, acheive super sonic speeds, and resist inertia. Outfitted with thick armor and high powered weapons, just one of these would be a force to be rekoned with.
Goron and Shadow parked their vehicle and made their way up to the lab, where they had been summoned to test another new technology, the warp.
"I think we managed to get it working this time," the scientist said as Goron and Shadow entered, "We were able to successfully send a banana to another dimension."
"Well... that's a start. I suppose you want to send me next?"
"If you wouldn't mind."
Another scientist plugged a cord into Goron's wrist unit.
"This new software will let us track you through other dimensions and even mid-warp, in case it doesn't work so well."
"Great, this makes me feel much better..."
The swirling blue portal opened. Taking a deep breath, Goron took Shadow's claw, and walked through the portal.
The pair of them stepped out into a busy port town, and Shadow immediately pounced on the banana. The voice of the scientist crackled over the radio.
"Well it seems you and Shadow overloaded the system... nothing we can't fix, but you might be stuck there for a few days."
"Alright... open a portal as soon as you can..." Goron responded.
"Shadow, why don't you go find us some food. I'll hide out in that deserted house, and await your return."
Here begins the Lost Chronicle, which you can also find in this Amphitheatre. Narrator, over and out. _________________ ~Goron~

An interesting story, though it seems to raise many questions in my mind, and doesn't seem entirely realistic.
To start with, I'm not sure that the Dojo has even existed for four years - it has been around since DP ascended into Godhood, which was during the EC vs GW thread. Going by RP time, I'd guess that less than a year has passed, max, but that's just an estimate, I could be wrong. This would also apply to the Corporation's presence in the Dojo.
Secondly, I seriously doubt that any scientists attempting to flee the Corporation would even make it out of their headquarters alive, as it would seem totally against Till's personality, and even moreso if they were so crucial to the Corporation's development as to set them back five years.
Then, we have these supposed geniuses who escaped from the Corporation out of fear for what they might do suddenly submit themselves to Goron. Why on earth do they decide to do this? They have no idea who Goron is, what he aims to do, and no reason to suddenly start obeying him. Yet for no apparent reason, they freely offer to grant him control of an entire army. Sure, he might seem strong, but why would they offer him so much to begin with? They could just as easily obtain a sample of his genetic structure from a hair or some other loose bit of genetic material. How do they know that Goron doesn't intend to take over the Dojo in a similar manner to the Corporation? It all seems like an incredibly stupid thing to do to me.
I'm somewhat curious to know where you got the necessary materials for everything to build a fortress, cloning facilities and whatever else you've got there as well. You can't get something from nothing, and it seems like nothing short of ravaging every natural resource that the Dojo has to offer (assuming it has any) would suffice, something which everyone here would no doubt notice. You'd seem a bigger menace than the Corporation in doing so, and the scientists helping you risked their lives and escaped from the Corporation for less.
I guess what I'm trying to get at is, it's an interesting story, but it's full of plot holes and uncertainties. Personally, I don't think it's a great explanation for the existance of the GORON fortress and a million X-GORONs. I'll be interested to see what Till and DP had to say about all this, as I assume that you've spoken to them about it, since various elements of this story heavily rely on them. _________________ If I'm not here, I'm probably over at...

Goron... you're an idiot.
I agree with you 3kul, Goron's story IS full of holes, but I could provide some logical explinations for them if I absolutely had to.
Eh, nobody really knows how much time has passed between then and now, I guess that is up to the imagination.
No one coud make it out of my Corporate HQ alive... except that unsuspicous moving rock that escaped a few years ago... also about the same time we lost some scientists. The mechanical mechs around here aren't exactly geniuses...
Your next point is a stretch to find an explination for. I suppose since Goron saved their life and they saw he was a good fighter AND they appear to be looking for someone with such skills to lead a resistance, Goron seems like the only logical choice... Sounds like crap to me though...
As for resources, are you suggesting that the land of Blackstar is a void wasteland?! Why the hell would I be here developing this place if it were nothing but an empty scape as far as the eye can see? I aslo seem to remember him mentioning cloning. Is it possible they could be cloning resources as well?
Goron, your explinations suck. 3kul, your arguments are only marginal, but they're better than Goron's story. Now, if I've got you all hating me, maybe we can go back to the Corporate Development Thread and continue? _________________ The Dojo Will Belong to The Corporation |

He seems to be against both of us, although he hasn't really cleared up a couple of points that've been bugging me.

Yes, but I'm assuming they don't use magic to clone things, and that they need machines of some kind. Going with the story that they escaped the Corporation, I don't believe that they'd be in the right state of mind to pick up everything that they'd been working on to lug along with them.
So they'd need to build the machines to utilize their cloning technology. Where would they get these initial machines from? How would they build more? Starting out with only six people (seven if you include Shadow ), it sounds like a near impossible task to accomplish in only four years.

No, what I was suggesting was that these resources would not readily present themselves to seven people just because they needed them. I do accept your point that they could have cloned the resources and thus prevented anyone from knowing of their existance, but they would need to make the cloning facilities to do so first. _________________ If I'm not here, I'm probably over at...

Thanks GBE, I needed to hear that.
As for my knowledge of your research, and the goings on of your company, a little birdy told me.
Ok, since no one seems to like this story, let's try another one:
A giant fortress fell from the sky containing a million X-GORONS and vast amounts of technology.
That better? _________________ ~Goron~

I'd like to see that Micheal - please do.... )) _________________ Books are source of knowledge, knowledge source of power, power is source of corruption, corruption is crime.Reading books will get you imprisoned!

I'm not sure about anyone else Goron, but the only reason I'm complaining is because I thought you'd be able to write a better story than this.
I really enjoyed reading both "The "Lost" Chronicle: Goron's Pre GW vs EC" and "The FULL Origins of Goron and Shadow", so I was a little disappointed at the difference between this story and those stories.
Ah well, if you don't want to write it up again or anything, I guess I can just resort to really bad fanfiction. _________________ If I'm not here, I'm probably over at...

You're right 3kul. This was thrown together in period of about fifteen minutes, and is hereby declared a rush job.
I like the FULL Origins of Goron and Shadow better than all of them though. _________________ ~Goron~
