Unfinished Business

((This is for Fade and Phase (one of GBE's chars) to work out their 'differences', as this has been a long time coming for both of them... You hear me Phase? I'm calling you out! ))

*Fade walks just outside of the Training Dojo, listening. In the inside pocket of her jacket is her trusty Sapphire Dagger, as well as a few surprises she'd recently been working on*

*As she walks the wind whips her blue hair around, tightly tied in a platt so it doesn't get in the way*

*She was having a look around and trying to get a feel for this place called Blackstar. The Training Dojo was interesting as it was a sort of middle ground, and many people had been using this area to test their skills or products*

*Fade intended to put her skills to the test, should anyone wish to challenge her while she was here*

[GBE]

Phase had recieved specific intell as to Fade's current position. Not an enemy in her own right, they had certain differences.

For one reason or another, he couldn't remember exactly how they came about, apart from the fact that he had at one time tried to recruit her for a facility currently under a 'respite' period.

Having had had a long careful look around of this, dojo, he was mostly impressed by its tranquility, bar certain volcanic eruptions, exploding rockets, and mechs being deployed across the landscape.

Using a visor or scanner if you may, he had spotted Fade heading into what appeared to be a lodge of some sort. It was a long trek to the lodge, but, he was one for peaceful and quiet strolls, and plentiful exercise. His black clothing made him stand out against the greenery of the forest, but when it came to shadows, he seemed to merge farely well.

His face, a very forgettable face, something that worked always to his advantage, had no hint of emotion, his eyes grey, and almost cold. As he neared the lodge, he tilted his hat slightly, and tightened his gloves upon his wrists. Slowly, and silently, walking up the stairs, he managed to avoid all of the creeks of the floor boards.

He looked inside of the immediate corridor, and saw some steps, leading up to some other corridors splitting away from his current position. Walking up the stairs, and turning left, he notices a door ajar, as he approaches it, he peers in, spying Fade. Turning a sign purposely placed outside of the door to 'In Use', he slides through the gap, and silently releases the latch into place, closing the door fully behind him.

Standing there, he looks around the room, noticing support pillars, a weapons rack, and Japanese stlye sliding doors and walls, he gives a tiny nod of appreciation. The floor, he notices isn' soft, but is in fact tiled.

Placing his hand to his mouth, he purposefully coughs....

[Swix]

*Fade turns round after hearing the cough, interestingly even with her enhanced hearing she'd hardly heard him get here*

*Narrowing her cold and watery grey eyes after seeing who it was, a throwing dagger was already on its way towards him. It would just pass his neck, and embed itself into the wall behind him. A warning shot and nothing more*

Phase... What do you want this time?

[GBE]

Phase stands there, watching the dagger fly towards him, his eyes move up to Fade as it nears and passes by. He steps forwards, arms by his side, "I have come to enquire about an aqaitence. How do you do?"

[Swix]

*Fades watches Phase carefully as he steps forwards, even though his arms were by his sides. She notices he's wearing his gloves and his hat, and the door which he'd entered through had been latched shut so anyone on the other side wouldn't be able to get in*

You came all the way here to ask that? I am doing perfectly fine, as you can no doubt see. Is that all?

*She lets the question hang in the air, continuing to watch him*

[GBE]

"I was curious, to see if your training has, improved since last we met. You, never did accept my recruitment."

He takes another step forwards, "Always, so, aggressive, we are almost one and the same. Only, our histories and powers differ."

He pauses, wanting Fade to respond...

[Swix]

*Fade draws her Sapphire Dagger defensively as Phase takes another step forwards, it glints blue in the light*

I don't think so Phase. We are similar, not the same. What part of my training is it you wanted to know had improved or not?

[GBE]

"Any improvements. Again, uneccessarily aggressive. You have already drawn a weapon, against me. You still percieve me as a threat. Might I ask why?"

As he asks this, inside the brim of his hat, the rim begins to form into a bladed rim, this due to contact with his head. In the palms of each of his hands, small throwing needles also begin to form in anticipation.

He can see Fades annoyance with his appearance, and her current line of aggression may bring her to attack any time soon.

[Swix]

Because, you are a threat. Whether you have a weapon drawn or not gives me no indication as to whether or not your intentions are hostile, due to the nature of your powers.

*Fade stops, tilting her head towards the door through which he'd previously entered*

You continue to walk towards me while you supposedly only want to talk, so I draw my Dagger in defense. And you have locked the door so we are the only ones in here, might I ask why that is?

[GBE]

"Hmm" He turns and looks back at the door, breifly taking in what Fade is talking about, and turns back to look at Fade, "My intentions were not to lock the door, and, if you wish, I shall unlock it.

As for intentions, you have made no attempt to walk away, nor towards the door. You have entered this place, a training centre of sorts, which, to most, would assume you wished to train.

Tell me, am I wrong?"

[Swix]

*Fade would let a smirk show, but she does not, keeping herself with her usual cold expression*

You are right, I wished to test my skills here. And train with these

*The arm not holding the Sapphire Dagger is sent lightning fast into a pocket not on the inside, but on the outside of her blue jacket. Another throwing dagger is held by it's blade in her fingertips*

I did not use to have much liking for these, now I find myself wanting to train more with them

[GBE]

Phases' eyes flick towards the throwing daggers and then back up to Fades eyes, "I do hope that wouldn't be, because of me...?"

He leaves the question hanging in the air, his tone of voice indicating to Fade that if she doesn't make her move now, he will...

[Swix]

*Fades eyes regard Phase, taking his tone of voice in*

No

*The throwing dagger is thrown high above Fades head, spinning in the air...*

But since you notice I came here to train...

*The dagger will reach her fingertips in seconds, should she miss it might just cut her wrist...*

Train with me!

*The dagger is caught, again her fingertips hold the blade, but this time it is thrown on a direct course to Phases heart rather than just to the side of his neck as before*

[GBE]

Phase, trained to see the path of throwing objects, leans to one side, and spins, catching the dagger. As he spins once, lets the dagger fly back towards Fades heart.

On his second side-step spin, he removes his hat, and sends it towards Fades neck.

On his third and final spin, as he sidesteps again, he jolts his hands towards Fade, unleashing twenty or so hollow needles, that should they hit, wouldn't let any wounds heal, as they consistently allow blood to pour out.

As he leaves Fade to deal with his flying objects, he calmly strolls over to the wall, and removes his long coat, folding it up, and placing it on the ground tidily. Slowly, his clothes form into a form of traditional Japanese fighting clothes.

He turns and looks towards Fade, and taking a stance, "I thought you wished to train. Not act like a fighting dummy."

[Swix]

*This time Fade does let out a smirk, she knew there was no way he'd have fallen for that but she'd had to see that he was as ready as he usually was. She wasn't disappointed*

*As the throwing dagger makes it's way back to her heart she throws a second one in it's path, the two knocking each other out of the way*

*The hat is stopped by her Sapphire Dagger, which is brought up, down and sideways so the hat embeds itself in the wall next to her*

*The third spin, and hollow needles were shot. With these Fade had no choice but to avoid them, so she dives and rolls to the side standing up even as they too embed themselves in the wall. Standing up quickly with the help of the momentum, Fade turns to look at him*

I have no intention of being a fighting dummy. Are you ready now you're changed?
