No, that wasn't a direct SoaD reference.
Anyway, I am but a humble n00blet to the wonderous fora of the Blackstar RP Dojo, and therefore must acquaint myself with the customs of the culture.

The question in its entirety:

MAY I JOIN ROLE PLAYS THAT ARE ALREADY IN PROGRESS?

I wish to know about this matter as the answer eludes me, as I have checked the rules pages as far as I know. Please do not hasten to redirect me if the answer to my question has already been covered.

If I should have read the forums "better", I accept my chatisement with reluctance, but with understanding.

Yes, you may. Freeform RP's are supposed to be designed to allow people to enter quasi-easily (if it's been going on for a while, it may take a bit to read what's happened to date.)

I understand what you mean. I wanted to join the Corporation RP, but no way am I going to read that much information and take it in. X_X I'll just lurk temporarily.

If it's a long RP, go to our market and see if you can find a recon monkey... they're somewhere in there. Of course you'll have to pay... No it's not in my shop/

If you can't be bothered to read all pages just read the last page and see where everyone is then say you stumbled upon people. Obviously take into account that some places you wouldn't just stumble upon. If you're nice someone may even explain what they are doing Razz

The Corporation RP however will be especially difficult to get into seeing as everyone is in someplace or another that you wouldn't actually find if you were 'stumbling'. This recon monkey is very expensive and considering Cirrial has just got here I don't expect him to have that much money.

I'm involved in the corporate developments thread - and seriously - my eyes were doing backflips with forward somersaults and spins to finish after reading three pages, never mind anything above that.

Seriously, some people *glares at Embri* can group together and pull off three pages minimum a day ><

Damn them and their free time! Damn them all!

Brief pleasant summary from myself:

Corporation = BAD! They want to steal technology and develop on the land. Headed by some guy called Micheal Rawlings and Till something.

There are the defenders - a mix of random do-gooders, DP's Blackfoot, and the EC all trying to find relics to take to DP or so it seems.

There's a new bunch called, Wam something. Aparently after the relics themselves.

There's a big old new volcano in the desert - southern frontier, thanks to Embri, and one near the Evergreen Glades or Central Plains, thanks to Embri again.

Uhm - I think that's everything...
