Shaking off the Rust-Swix and Tav

((I thought I may as well start. Let's see ya Tav ))
In the middle of the Black Forest stood an equally as dark woman, in every sense of the word. Physically, she wore a black, tattered dress coupled with black boots and from a distance, dull coloured hair. Otherwise, her hazel eyes showed a darkness that emanated from deep within her soul. The human looking Swix tapped a booted foot on the floor covered in rotting leaves impatiently. It wasn't that she'd been waiting for an overly long amount of time-she'd only been here for five minutes-it's just that she wasn't very fond of waiting. At least the Black Forest was a decent enough place to wait-twisted, blackened and corrupted trees towered over savage and equally corrupted animals. It was her kind of place.

((Oh, sorry! I'd forgotten all about this challenge! Ah well.))

"Hey there, little lady." Aedran said, smirking. "What's a cute girl like you doing here? Out to fight some big sexy swordsman, no?" He laughed, the wind playing with his blond hair. He stepped back and drew his sword. "Let's get it on."

[Swix]

"Well well" said Swix, twirling a few strands of her unruly hair through her fingers "a high opinion of yourself and a charmer. I like you already". Although she'd been tapping her foot impatiently just moments ago, suddenly she decided she didn't want to get into a fight so quickly. It probably had more to do with her seeing his obvious enthusiasm than anything else. Her hazel eyes locked onto the blade that Aedran had brought out, and a small frown tugged at her lips "How very... Classic. Tell me swordsman, you don't want to go all heroic just yet, do you? Can't we just talk?"
((Hmm, I wasn't expecting her to react like that ))

He laughed. "That's what they all say, see. Especially the ones with the knives." He grinned. "It's happened too many times, where you're kissing a girl and suddenly she tries to gut you."

[Swix]

"Now there's a shame" Swix said, smirking herself as she untangled her finger from her hair "but I wasn't suggesting anything quite so... Intimate. Just talk"
The evil woman let out a deep, drawn out sigh, shrugged and cracked a wide grin. "Oh well, it was worth a try" she lamented, spreading her arms theatrically. She shrugged off the small red backpack she had on and held it by it's strap, letting it dangle to show it's impossible weight. "Time to dance" she said, smiling broadly as she began to circle Aedran

"A bludgeoning weapon? How crude." He said, stepping away from her. He wouldn't let her corner him, because that's tactically inadvisable. His sword was steady, but he was still grinning. "Or perhaps you use magic. Or maybe that thing's full of explosives, or guns."

His head tilted. "Maybe I should have done research before combating you."

[Swix]

Swix laughed, apparently finding all this very funny indeed "I like bludgeoning weapons" she told him, her grin beginning to twist rather horribly "they're so very messy. Sure swords can cause wounds but they're far too clean for my liking. Nothing compares to the sound of bones breaking, causing their own internal damage"
She continued to circle around him, though she stopped when he asked about the bag and stared at him a tiny bit longer than was necessary. Then she burst into laughter once again, a chilling and pitiless laugh. "Are you fishing for clues, oh sexy swordsman? Well, let's give you a few. This backpack of mine has more inside it than you can possibly imagine. But it won't be opened today, by you or me. Second, I am not a magic user as such, though some would class it that way. And third, you will not find very much about me even if you had researched"
She smirked again, a dark twinkle in her eyes. "Why did you accept my challenge, if it only occurred to you to ask these things now?"

"Why? 'Why' is never a reason not to do something. The thing you should ask is 'Why not'." He laughed, and backed up, putting his back to a tree.
