...Another Threesome!? A Battle of the Desert Sands!

"Fire!" Athena called. "Use fire on it!" She exclaimed, and reached into her bag for something. It was a small lantern; she opened it up, and threw oil onto the goo on Lilic's face. With a mischievous smile, she lit it with a thrown match.

Lilic looked at her as she blinked. "What the hell are you doing?!" She asked through a half mumble knowing fire hurt it as she suddenly used her own fire to light it up. She seemed unable to be badly hurt from her fire...Though that was likely case she cast it. Though her face was sporting a fair amount of burn marks from the combined attacks.

Athena didn't take long to follow up the fire attack with a blunt one with her quarterstaff. She noticed the way that fire hardened the goo, and she wanted to make sure that the stuff was dead. So she slammed her quarterstaff into it, while it was still on lilic's face.

Interesting. A being so bent on using an attack, it completely disregarded the life of another. Off the top of it's squishy brain, the Goo couldn't think of another species like that. Creating an eye over Lilic's mouth, it watched the spray of oil and waited for the perfect moment...

Rapidly, it dislodged a large chunk of itself, and flung it up Lilic's nose, blocking the airway from smoke. Toxins were hard to remove from a host, and this would be much easier now than the process later. Unfortunately this meant most of the Goo's mass would be bur- What?

The girl had opened her mouth to speak, and therefore allowed the whole being to escape down her throat. Now stuffed up over her voice box, the alien had a moment to think. It had never encountered a creature so easily infected other than the initial period of invasion. Maybe the news hadn't spread from their first attempt at taking over this world? Either way, the parasite thought it would probably be best just to digest this woman down into a wooden plank or something so she didn't get hurt anymore. Of course, complete surface cover would be required, and quite a few hours.

In the meantime, the Goo clogging Lilic's nose, now a separate entity, decided would b-

And with a bone shattering crunch, the staff came down on Lilic's nose, overwhelming the parasite with a sudden blast of pressure and blood. The creature ceased function after only operating for a few precious moments.

The main Goo, oblivious to the fate of it's sister, lie waiting. Hopefully it went unnoticed, and they wouldn't continue to look for it in the ashes. After that, it was home free to take over while the other female focused on more pressing matters.

Lilic felt the creature jump into her body. "Not Good" She tried to speak out as she struggled with the words pointing to her throat to Athena. a sign something had happened. Thing was...what had happened to her?

Athena looked around, and then spun around the woman, doing the Heimlich Maneuver.

Lilic gagged as the air was rushing through her throat from the move as she tried to get out the thing inside her. She was trying her hardest to get it out. She didn't know if it was out or not but it was still hard to breathe.

[Coolpikaaa]

This fight was rapidly turning into a comedy more than a takeover, and the Goo decided it was about time things wrapped up. Moving quickly through Lillic's body, the parasite spread down to her navel, secreting itself through her pores, and onto Athena's conjoined hands.

The next process was going to be quite a bit more difficult. The Goo organism coated the thrusting hands and Lillic's abdomen, and began to take cellular samples of each. Using it's own body as a medium, the goop creature combined chromosomes from both women, and some cytoplasm from itself to create and multiply a sort of artificial cell.

Now, using this new life, it began essentially knit Athena onto Lillic with this cellular glue. Why anyone would physically touch an infected body was beyond the goo, but then again, these Blackstarians were a strange bunch, so thinking gleeful thoughts of world takeover, it quickly worked up the hands so perfectly flat to each other.

If all went to plan, the alien would eventually only have one body to take over instead of two...

(Uhm. I assumed we were both, y'know, wearing clothing?)

[Coolpikaaa]

((Oh. Right. Kinda dumb there. ))

The Goo clone stopped, and sensed it's handiwork was failing. It's "cellular glue" seemed to be failing, and for the life of the creature, it didn't know why.

But wait. Perhaps the hides on these two women were not actually their skin? Had the alien been duplicating fibers this whole time instead of cells?

Before it could go any further in it's thought process, the Goo monster fell to the ground, a struggling lump of fuzz more than anything else.

Athena quickly used the lantern again, pouring fuel onto the struggling lump of fuzz, then dropped a lit match on it. She turned to the girl.

"You have fire magic, right? Cause if I were you, you could possibly blanket this place in enough fire to kill whatever of this stuff's left; it seems to be like a virus of some sort, and we want to make sure whatever this is doesn't make it out to hurt other people."

She looked away, supposedly scanning the ground. But in truth, she was hiding her face; hopefully the other girl wouldn't notice the look on her face.
~It's been inside you.~ She thought. ~It could grow, and then corrupt others. I'll have to burn your body.~

[rosebarks]

She looked at the thing on the ground as she threw a simple Flare Ball at it trying to light the creature on fire. "You know...if you have a problem you can tell me..And I don't think it's so much a virus...it's an organism...It appears to not so much feed off the body but wish to..by the looks of things...want to make more of itself" Lilic said having been observing the way it had worked from the start.

Athena scoured the ground, looking for more of the goo stuff, and lighting her lantern. If she was attacked quickly, she'd be able to smash the lantern against the goo, without the need for a lit match. "Isn't that what a virus -is-?" She asked, she gripping her staff tighter.

Still looking at the ground, she angled herself behind the other girl, and gripping one end of the quarterstaff in both hands, swung at the back of her head with every bit of strength in her arms.

"I'm sorry." She said as she swung.

Lilic was hit as she seemed to look up at her. "what on Blackstar are you doing?" She asked her as she threw a ball of fire at her suddenly while she seemed to growl. Clearly Lilic was not happy at the sudden attack to her.

Athena ducked under the flare, and followed the attack up with another strike aimed to the head. Hopefully this attack would knock the girl out.
