Well, technically, in the Matrix, they don't defy either the laws of nature nor gravity, due to the whole 'hey look I'm in a computer' thing.

Argh, damn it Tav, if there weren't currently massive posters strung up around my area stating that 'I lost the game' everywhere, then I'd probably be less anooyed that you just said that.
