belts are fixed...apparently the files had corrupted at some point (probably my fault there), but when Embri left she left me a drop box with all her artwork....I restored them from there.

I can't promise much, but I'm going to try to fix some of the more major bugs. I had overhauled the posting method so that the item posting worked bug free, but I didn't back it up, and when I restored Blackstar from a backup, it only had the old buggy version. I intend to take a look at that bug, and disable some features that aren't needed. probably remove the stock ticker from the main page and only have it on the stock exchange page.

I just feel bad handing over a buggy board to CP. I can't get to it before Monday though...

I think I've located one of the major issues with the item system. Any pass/fail scenario that has an ' in it will cause the forum to hiccup, causing that post to not get entered into the DB. as a temporary measure I've taken out that character in all places I can see it.

Well, Zerrer here, though I go by Tav now.

In the spirit of 'rebirth' of Blackstar, I've decided to register a brand new account, my own personal 'rebirth' reflecting that of Blackstar's own.

Well, that, and I kind of forgot my password.

BUT YES. I am quite pleased with this, and personally, I think CP's the perfect person for a new admin. In fact, I believe he's the only one that could actually pull this off.

Zer- Err Tav, I can fix up your old account with a new name and password if you want. Surely with the item system back up you wouldn't want to lose all your money and resources?

I've heard rumors you might also need some yen for something bigger as well....

The thing about that, though, is it just wouldn't feel right, when Blackstar's going to be changing, to keep all of my old baggage. It would feel like wearing a suit that I grew out of years ago. Zerrer (The character) has died, I have an entirely new writing style, I'm no longer in the Felbeasts, and it would just feel odd to go back to the old account. The only thing I might keep would be Ashael, and I'm never going to use her, because she deserves some peace and quiet. I've changed quite a bit in the past few years, and the old account is basically not me anymore.

. . . Hmm. Come to think of it, both Zerrer (the character) and Zerrer (Who I used to be) are dead now.

, it's competely up to you. I never really used it. In fact, I think I gave a whole lot to the Felbeast Foundation because I never used it.

The badges would be nice as I have a feeling the newest RP on Blackstar is going to be a good one with both Tav and myself having a master plan for it. ^^

I haven't yet decided whether I am returning for good but at least this post is a good start.

I hope the return of Blackstar works out well (even if I end up not being a part of the fun) and I wish CP the best of luck.
