I will quickly start off with the fact that yes, I have become Head Admin here. I know I am not the best man for the job, and plenty of other members are much wiser and more handy than I am. I know many have tried, and failed to revitalize this board. But, I also know I am determined to make this work and with the beautiful start I have managed to whip together, I stubbornly would like to think I have a fair chance.

Blackstar as you know has become a very troubled place. It is no longer the RP area you loved, instead, a buggy forum long ago abandoned. A main reason is that these bugs even forbid the new blood of members from entering our community, a lifeblood that kept everything fresh. That is why many of you left.

I am here now to welcome you back, and to hopefully allow you to once again enjoy the RP Board we once had. Like any leader, good or bad, I will give you a big list of why I hope for you to join me. This list reflects what I have already put into motion, and what are my steps for the future. Call it my 5 week plan.

Number one, the plan goes like this. Blackstar is able to remain on DP's servers until October, where and when it will promptly end for realz this time. I am here for one month to see if I can turn it around and allow this place to once again peak interest. If I succeed we can find a more permanent location. If I fail, we admit defeat and Blackstar slips away into the final peace she deserves at the end of next month.

Secondly, I have fixed registration for Blackstar. New members are now able to join, and I encourage all of you to advertise the crap out of this place.

Third, I have repaired the broken shop system. Consider it a bonus incentive for newbies to join. Item synthesizing is pretty awesome and fun.

Forth, Yes, I got rid of a lot of boards. This is for the sake of newbies, who I strongly believe would get quite a shock from the thirty some we had before. The RP boards have all been arranged into one area, and so have all the member owned ones. All member owned boards should only be displayed to those in the group.

Fifth, all missing boards are not deleted, they have just been packed away and hidden from the public. We as a new community need to decide what boards of the missing need to be put back in, and what can stay out. I repeat, nothing has been deleted.

Sixth, in order to run until the end of the month, and to allow me to have this trail ruler ship, we need to come up with Seven Dollars. I know, I know, it's a crazy amount, but weirdos such as Myself, 3kul, and oddly enough, even DrLupinMario have offered to cover the whole sum.

Seventh, these changes are all about you. I know I used the word "I" A LOT, but really, it is all about you. I am just here to let you guys have the power to see how this all turns out. If you have a strong hatred for something I have done, call me out.

Now, if you don't terribly mind, I am rather tired after all this prodding about in the system, and need a little snooze. After all, Tomorrow really is a new day.

He also has my full support. This place has a lot of potential left in it, but I don't really have the time to put into it. However, for one last time, I'd like to use an ancient relic

My time is limited as I make this post, but I'm all for helping to restore it to some shadow of its former glory at SOME point.

Furthermore, I also would pledge that I will attempt to help keep our beloved Blackstar Dojo alive for as long as it may live.

Although no one here probably knows me, I hereby command each and every active Blackstar member to go forth! Go forth, army of insanity, legions of chaos, and bring back fresh blood to our home!

I demand you travel far and wide, to the deepest bowls of the internet to find active and talented writers, role-players and hopefully, a couple comedians, and DRAG them back by the scruff of their necks!

Don't forget to lock them up for awhile so they can't escape.

Suddenly Tentacles! Everywhere!

Raven is grabbed by several at once and dragged away so she can't leave without fulling her promises. The squid from the EC plot moves on to the others that have arrived, giving them high fives and long speeches of encouragement. With one long tendril it gives a salute to CP, it's massive frame silhouetted in the sunset before moving back to watch the new ones come in.

The Giant Squid seems rather at ease now.....

I'll admit, the first reaction I had to a lot of this was a flat 'What.'

Now I'm just devising a good trap for a friend of mine who should like this place a lot. So far it involves custard, cards, a spade, four left hands (wooden) and a dartboard.

One more bug fixed! Apparently the software was using gif images, but The Sanity Blade's image was a png...well, fixed now!
