I see there's nothing worth talking about in here again.
Who likes cupcakes? I don't know if I like them, I'm not even sure what they are. What do you do, cook a cake in a teacup or something?
Why are biscuits called cookies? If all biscuits are cookies, then what's a biscuit?
I apparently have food on the brain, I should probably have had breakfast... or lunch...

| Yes actually, Seasons 1-3 are on DVD, and if you know the scedual you can catch them late at night on cartoon network. |

As a dual-nationality American-but-mostly-Englishman I feel I have the right to say the lack of consistency with regards to American English and English English leaves me bewildered often.
Take the otherwise innocuous word biscuit.
Now, the English biscuit is what Americans would call a cookie, although the distinction here is that cookies tend to be sweeter/candy-laden biscuits.
The American biscuit is what the English would probably hazard a guess as being a scone, though that's not quite right.
The differences and the "correct" meaning of biscuit, cookie and scone are something you can discuss for ages with a group of people of varying origins if you haven't got anything better to do. I speak from experience. Hey, waiting for people to turn up gets boring after a while. >_>

As an Englishman I can point out the single biscuit/cookie/waferthingymabob that has stood aside from both of these identifications throughout time.
