The increasingly dusty turrets folded away, creaking and grinding. Apparently, no maintenance had been carried out in the previous few months. The cameras unfolded jerkily, some of them becoming snagged on mechanisms that weren't properly tended to.

"Paranesia-ia." A speaker, slightly delayed, fell off of the wall. The place had somehow really managed to run itself down in the last few months.

Paranesia looked around. "You seem to be taking care of yourself well, 501."

The air grew chill and the Maramind sank into silence, as if sensing an imminent storm. Doors in the warehouse slid shut automatically, and the containers slide into floor compartments. Apparently, a major aspect of Maratix architecture was to place hidden compartments in as many surfaces as possible.

A mass of grey squares appeared in midair, shifting into a strange portal. Something pressed into a grey film, as if something on the other side was walking into and through something that the mind of any mortal would have discarded as not being exactly real. The figure seemed vaguely keletian.

The grey film dissolved, revealing a blue-furred keletian, a long trenchcoat flailing in a sudden breeze indoors, the four blue canister eyes of Tachyon pivoting on hidden spheres, before all pointing in the direction of Para. His scorpionesque segmented metal tail flicked upwards, as he crossed and folded his arms.

"I thought I felt something amiss. What are you doing in this location?"

Wolf and I decided to switch names for a day. Hilarity ensued.

By some force of magic, I managed to get an art collaboration with Matilda Caboose, aka DJ Punky Brewster, aka that guy who does just about every girl voice in Fobbies are Borange. This is me going 'oh god what do I do'



I... really like Fobbies are Borange. ;_; Notice that there's buttloads of Jeff and Paula (hi Katon, matcab), very small amounts of Ness (hi xfis), and I think one doodle of Poo (... hi Lewahi) in the entire thing. There's more /Giygas/ than there is Poo.

A New Recruit is a series based on Radio PSI that I'm writing. It's very Rule of Cool.

I redid the picture. Both look cool in their own right.

A Mr Saturn that I was originally going to submit to a Saturn Ladder but didn't because I hate how it came out.

Hi Abjure. Abjure is a Radio PSI backup buddy; he has a ustream account. Shoes on head followed. So did drinking 7-up using a celery straw.

CASE IN POINT: I CAN'T DRAW HIM AS A CREEPY MANBIRD EITHER.

This has a fun story to it. On Gonmon's radio show, he announced that he would give a copy of Commander Keen to the person who wrote the best Pressing Issue (a segment in which he reads emails asking him questions and then comes up with an answer on the spot). I sent,
"Gonmon, help D:

I have a tyrannosaurus in my uterus. It won't leave no matter what I do. What should I do?" and it won.

Pretty much every reaction involved a reference to mine. From the green lantern covering himself in ketchup in order to use his new ketchup powers to help me with my tyrannosaur problem, to Katon buying a newspaper, setting it on fire, and mailing it to me. Good times, good times.

I was heavily inspired by Fallen (which is also by matilda caboose omg guys read it he's the best) to make a comic that is pretty much PokeFallen but with a drastically different ending and no Starman of Death and involving my team. This would be what my trainer persona looks like for most of the story.

First, I drew this. Then Ranger drew this because Katon isn't allowed to have all the fun.

Someone dared me to draw Wilhelmina/Ranger. I accepted. Also, Magic Cake Woman the macaw.

Here's the joke on this one: I draw Ranger as a Sonic fancharacter. A Radio PSI Carol airs. Gonmon announces his 'draw Radio fanart and you win' contest. Ranger mentions that if Ranger is Sonic in A New Recruit, then he should be Silver in A Radio PSI Carol, being the Ghost of Radio Future and all that. He also mentions that he was incredibly close to placing the line 'Hey, Katon, are you the Iblis Trigger?' into his part.

This happened.

Fanart for Ranger's MS Paint Chaotix. It... has to be read to be explained. Miles Prower, Hedgehog Clipper, is probably my second favorite character after Silver, who hallucinates in my art.

Someone dared me to draw Matcab/Ranger, too. I shortened it to Rancab.

Matcab ended up looking at it on air. His comments were something like "I didn't know Ranger was a hedgehog wearing a baseball cap... I should so get a shirt like that though. 'HI MY NAME IS MAT CAB.' Spaced exactly like that."


I doodled this up partially because someone else dared me to draw ANRanger/Sora Sky. Includes such fun things as PaulaCaboose asking why I could draw her perfectly well but not her voice actor, Not-a-K, and 501!Cirr.


This... um, this went nowhere. Fast.

I'm doing a comic recap of Ranger's MS Paint Chaotix. This is what I have so far.


I had a voice in #radioPSI for almost two weeks. Then I had a power outage. This is my grave to it. Also featuring Not-a-K and PaulaCaboose.


I found out that, while drawing my recap, someone else did one. So I did an MS Paint Adventures-style response to their claims that they had first dibs.


I found a blue pen. This then happened.

And suddenly, I had an idea. See, I like Fobbies are Borange. It is a cool radio play. People who are really, really awesome are doing a read-along comic version of it. I decided to try out. This particular scene is from the end of episode 11. Basic sketch.

Lineart.

Basic color (ffff DJeffKaton's hair, I hate you so much) AT THIS POINT I REALIZED NESSFIS'S HANDS WERE ON BACKWARDS. I HAD TO FIX THIS.

At this point I decided to stop being so lazy with the background and sketched in Jeff's Sky Runner, being cushioned by a gigantic pile of cigarette cartons.

Then I colored it.

Then I messed with the levels and added the script. This is the finished version that I sent to Xfis (and Katon wanted to see it so I sent it to him too... and then I posted it to the FaB thread).

And during this time I was sketching up ideas for what the Crystalbacks even looked like; I'm integrating them into Cirrniverse canon so there's Agent ideas in there as well.

Sketches from last weekend. There's a Caton in there, which I made into a horrible, horrible pun of 3kul's character and a cat version of Katon.

I got a little sketch-crazy about the PSI Call'n. NOT-A-K IS 12 AND ANGRY

I was also dared to draw ANRanger (him as a sonic fancharacter, basically) as House. I, erm, drew the cane in a different spot at first.

On Valentine's Day, I went a bit art-crazy. And by art-crazy I mean four full-color pieces.

Teensy little fanart of a specific pair of twins.

Basically, I was listening to Tree Of My Youth and upon hearing Claus speak, I went 'what the hell, MatClaus? MatClaus?!'

Then it grew on me. And I made this.


I personally don't celebrate Valentine's Day, but I figured, hey, why not join in on the festivities and make a picture of pretty much the only canon pairing in ANR?

So. Katon and MagicCakeWoman making silly faces at each other. Or at least they would be, if they weren't in their ANR depictions.

I feel like there's been a spotlight on me these past few months, I guess.

The four arms represent the four things I'm good at, ordered from what I'm best known for.

Uppermost would be the glockenspiel mallet, or my skills as a musician. It looks like a microphone

In the middle is a headset, or my voice acting skills. I love acting, and I'd love to do more of it, but I'm pretty much only known as Not-a-K.

The bottom two are a paintbrush (my art) and a pencil (my writing), because if you haven't seen one, you've seen the other.

I'd like to note that the background image is sonic concept art and only three or four of the mr hedgehogs were made by me.

Justacy and Lyco Daton, better known as DJ Not-a-K and Commissar Ketchupface.

These two are probably my favorite self-inserts. It's like I split myself in half and threw me into ANR twice.

It's really quite convenient that Justacy, the younger half, is like how I was when I was her age, and Lyco is how I am becoming as I approach her age.

One is a flaming yellow ball of pure rage, and the other is completely disconnected from everything.

Also, there is no H in Justacy and the liquid coming out of Lyco's eye is red kool-aid.
