It was spring in The Grove. The tree filtered light gently caressed the dew covered grasses and flowers that were planted in whimsical whorls and patterns which balanced perfectly with one another. The Dragon fae buzzed gently to and fro carrying new plantings, mending flowerbeds damaged by traveling mammals, and taking clippings of those plants that had grown outside their assigned planting areas. The morning sun shone brightly on the tamped earthen path upon which TreeSprite gently trod. Her wings lazily fluttered in rhythm with the gay wakening calls of the native birds. The Greetings Garden looked wonderful to her, and she felt joy flood through her whole body as the comfort of being home wrapped round her like a babe's first blanket.

It was good to be back in this lovely haven of peace and relative tranquility. The fast pace of Paragon, and all it's inhabitants was nigh too much for her to bear sometimes, and though she knew she was needed there she couldn't help but sneak back for the occasional respite from the rock-paste paths, metal beasts, and conniving villains that were so rampant in that realm. She took a great risk coming back for if the Oela caught her presence she would certainly be dragged to the elders, by her hair if they felt it necessary. Still, she knew in her heart that things would work out, and that soon she and the Companions of the Light would overcome that miserable band The Blight, after which her home would be safe for her to visit again.

Just then a vibration was felt in the air, and the Golden Door appeared on the path before her. Expecting a visitor to The Grove TreeSprite quickly hid behind a large lavender bush to the right side of the path. TreeSprite watched as the Golden Door dropped it's passenger on the path, and then popped immediately out of existence. TreeSprite was puzzled at the fact that no one came out of the door, and was quite surprised to find that all it had left was a four foot tall green burlap sack tied tightly at the top with golden cords.

Now curious, TreeSprite checked all about to see if anyone of import had made note of the Golden Door's appearance. Satisfied that no one had, she stepped out from behind the lavender, and walked toward the sack. To her eye the bag looked like an ordinary travel sack that might be used by a person traversing the wilds to a new home. The cords with which it was closed, however, were far from ordinary. The sack seemed to be bound with magic spells woven throughout the cords that were knotted round the top of the bag to keep it shut.

Normally TreeSprite would have left the fool thing for the Oela to find and take care of, but at that moment the sack wiggled and squirmed as though a live creature was trapped inside. Fearing that a person was somehow trapped inside while traveling through the Golden Door, she immediately set about unraveling the magic, and the cords that held the bag shut. To her chagrin the bag, when opened, seemed quite empty. "Well that's unusual," she thought. "I wonder what was wriggling in there?" As she asked this she stuck her head in the sack, and was quite suddenly sucked into the void contained inside.

She fell for what seemed only a few moments and then landed with a jarring whump onto a wooden floor inside a small well-made hut. She stood and carefully dusted herself off, checking her wings to see if they were damaged. As they were not she looked around and exclaimed to no one in particular, "Well now, this is an unexpected adventure!"

"I see you recieved Sensei Psycho's invitation," An old lady standing at a nearby desk said," He means no ill will, but you kno what a prankster he is."

"As a gesture of no ill will, Lord Psycho has given you a way out," She continued., pointing to the golden cord that was now lying on Treesprite's wing
"He told me to tell you that the cord will extend as long as you need it to be, and will never break. He also said that if you were to climb back up the tractionless pipe, it will take you back out of the berlap sack and into the Grove. But he so hopes you decide to stay."
