RP Idea: Dojo College?

I was thinking about starting an RP where characters of the Dojo go to College. I was going to let any join, regardless of their char's age. I would do this with a mix of time paradoxes, time machines, and general confusion.

Anyway, I wanted answers to a few questions before I started it:

1. Is it a good idea?

2. How would it work into the general Dojo storyline

3. Should I set it in the future (most likely) and have other chars that are either too young or too old at that time come in Time Machines, or should I set it in another universe? Heck, weird things happen in the Dojo, so maybe we could just keep it in the time it is....

4. Where should I put it? Phsycotopia? I don't think a giant college sitting in the middle of the Wilds looks exactly right, but hey, again, this is Blackstar.

It will be a comidic RP, but I'd like it to be "right" for the setting as well. Place your input.

I think it's a great idea, providing that it's possible to finish.

We have been doing a lot of future RPs. I've noticed that many characters at the Dojo seem to "know" or "have heard of" other characters that were never mentioned in their Hall of Records histories. Some have never even met in a thread.

What if you were to set it in the past instead? That could serve as a sort of explanation for some of the fame factor our characters experience.

But that's only if you want to keep it canon.

If it's going to be more of a "what if" Role Play (as is probably advisable) then future should work just fine.

As for where... well, everything is in the wilds these days. I think this may actually fit in the Training Dojo of all places.

I think that's an excellent idea! I'd certainly be interested in that, I've been watching for a good rp I could get into, again.

I do believe it's very much possible given the nature of most of our characters, though I do agree with Chronos on the timeline issues.

There is one aspect of this idea about which I am extremely curious: Is it truly a requirement that all our characters must be of similar ages in order to attend?

I confess I do not know much of the procedure on other worlds but here on Earth it has long been accepted that the great centres of learning will welcome anyone who has shown promise (and more often sufficient cash) irrespective of age. I see no reason at all why Blackstar should be any different.

Surely if this was to be the case it would eliminate many of the problems facing the creation of such an institution which would otherwise be of tremendous benefit to all involved.

If this was to be the case the only question remaining would be what exactly such an institute would teach to its students.

I think DP would either teach advance meta-physics (book: Advanced non-time based trans-dimensional Wormholes and You) or Advanced neo-genetics (book: Mutant Chickens, from Egg to Monster)

I guess our alts will be the learners. Most of us have more than one character I think.

I know the Guivre would graduate with honors in SFOT's cooking class.

Oh yes, Sfot will be an EXCELLENT teacher. xD
