Her flame did not manage to hit Alloexustio, but it did manage to halt his attack.
But it wasn't 5 seconds before the creature launched another attack, sending magnetic waves from his hands. She was in the middle of the attack's radius.
For a few seconds, she was at a loss on how to escape this attack. She didn't doubt her own abilities, but she knew she wasn't going to make it if she ran.
But there had to be another option rather than get hit. She wasn't going to stand around and be this bug's plaything. This creature was annoying beyond all ends, and even when hit with her most powerful attacks it refused to keel over and die - the kind of foe she hated most.
The sand!
That's it. If she couldn't go sideways, and she couldn't go forwards or backwards, then there was one direction left to go - up.
She crouched down, preparing to spring. Then she pushed herself away from the ground with all of her strength, aiming for her right, while at the same time calling upon her sand powers to generate a small, but powerful explosion beneath her feet.
The end result was that she was propelled many feet above the ground, a good deal away from the dinoinsectoid's attack.
As she glanced from her foe from her position, she had reason to guess that was an attack he considered unavoidable.
If that was correct, then he wasn't going to waste time setting up another attack when she landed. She better think of a plan while she was up here rather than on the ground.
She called to mind her previous hit on Alloexustio before the nail. The creature had made a noticable move to try to deflect the fire arrow, but he had failed somehow and took it to the face.
Whilst with her last attack, his beams simply stopped the flames. That meant that his abilities were staunched during the previous event. But how?
That was when another thing she could use to her advantage came to mind. The previous event followed the explosion her fire disk caused. And what was going on during the explosion? Sand was moving.
That's when it all clicked into place: Moving sand severely limited this creature's magnetic powers. And without those, this creature would fall just as easily as she thought it would at the beginning of the battle.
Unfortunately for her, she hadn't realized she was nearing the ground at a fairly rapid pace until the last minute. When she did, she attempted to land on all fours to absorb the shock.
It didn't work out. While both her soles hit the ground squarely, her left arm hit it at an awkward angle.
A sickening cracking sound was heard, and pain spread out through the arm. Therefore, her landing did not go so well - she landed on her side, only just managing to keep a grip on her blade.
In avoiding Alloexustio's attack, she'd managed to hurt herself and put herself in an unfavorable position. And with the waves at such close proximity, lying on the ground was not a good place to be.
Thankfully, she didn't need to be on both feet to use her abilities. Recalling how her flames removed the threat of the beams in her last attack, she deciding using fire to quell the waves would have a similar effect.
Pointing her lightblade at them, she channelled a steady column of flames at the magnetic forces. At the same time, she put the plan she had developed while jumping into motion, sending ripples in the sand out from her in all directions.
For all that it was worth, she rolled until she got herself into a sitting position. She didn't attempt to try to stand, but if another attack came she would have a better chance in this position rather than her previous one.
Ready to finally end this fight, she cast her coldest glance at Alloexustio before setting her mind to the task at hand. _________________ TheBlackSoul's Characters

Alloexustio silently cursed his strictly horizontal attack. With five arms, he could have made the attack much more three-dimensional, had he thought of that. He looked up at the airborne Tamae. Locking onto her while she was in the air would prove more trouble than it was worth. Instead, he simply kept a steady stream from his arms. She had to come down some time.
Then Tamae landed. Alloexustio very nearly ceased his attack from paralysis of laughter. He laughed hysterically at the girl's misfortune and pain, then abruptly halted and his face returned to normal. Such was chaotic laughter.
As she pointed the light blade at him, he positioned his two South poled arms on either side of the beam that shot forth from it. The result was a deflection of the flames and they shot over his head. As she rolled into a sitting position, Alloexustio aimed his other three beams at her, but something was wrong.
As they passed over the sand. they began to deform. The beams were becoming a type of magnetic noise.
Static charge! Alloexustio thought. If he wanted to avoid a massive electric shock, he'd best not push this too far. Tamae would be slaughtered, but he'd be severely damaged as well.
She gave him a withering glance. Nasty person, this, thought the demon of Chaos.
Instead, Alloexustio used his outer arms to create an EM bubble from which escaping would be nearly impossible without suffering massive brain damage. In short- they were both now trapped. It was as if Alloexustio was a dog that had finally caught its own tail. _________________

Well, it appears the flames weren't entirely successful in defeating the waves, but what they didn't do the sand ripples did. Alloexustio halted the attack upon seeing them deform, perhaps fearing something.
If she kept it up, she stood a good chance of finally killing him. To do that, she had better stand up.
As the dinoinsectoid erected his bubble, she slowly pushed herself to her feet with her one good arm, her bad arm hanging limply from her side. Once fully up, she gazed around.
Looks like this idiot has one more trick up his sleeves, she thought. However, the good news was that he was trapped as well.
This gave her another opportunity to use his own abilities against him. The moving sand would prevent him from using his magnetic power, so she didn't have much to fear from that.
But, how should she attack this creature? She didn't want to risk fire. If he was still able to deflect it, it could come flying back and hit her. And that would not be pretty.
Once again, a memory of a previous attack came to her. The first successful blow she got on this creature was through her sand fist. Perhaps, it would serve her well again.
A grim smile flicked across her face for a split second. Then, she quickly decided on a plan of action.
This time, the fist should strike him from below, not from directly in front like last time. That would send him flying into his own field, which might have some effect on him.
Fortunately for her, the movements she made before the fist came flying were not nessecary. If she wanted to have a successful victory, she would need to be subtle.
All the while, she continued to send ripples across the sand, making it less likely that Alloexutio would be able to deflect the blow easily.
And she also performed one last manuver before striking - if Alloexustio had bothered to look, he might have noticed that some of the sand was moving in a different way then the rest of it.
Tamae had again summoned several sand golems, but these ones remained flattened. If any attacks came flying her way, the beasts would be quick in rising up and taking the blow.
Now, it was time to finish off this annoying bug once and for all.
Not moving a single muscle, Tamae suddenly caused the sand to explode beneath Alloexustio's feet as the fist came flying from below, hopefully sending him upwards towards his own bubble.
It may not work, but she doubted that. She could almost taste the victory the dinoinsectoid's own actions would bring upon her. _________________ TheBlackSoul's Characters

Alloexustio was somewhat annoyed that he couldn't really do anything to win at this point. He could- of course- collapse the field like he planned before, but he had no idea of how the sand would affect this ability.
As he wracked his brain, something came along that blissfully removed the burden of thought from him. Another sand fist appeared and slammed into him from below. Part of it hit him in the face and he was- for less than a second- knocked unconscious. It wasn't for very long, but it was for long enough that all his beams and the EM field completely disappeared.
He only flew about three meters in the air; he had his skin to thank for its extra weight. At the apex of his ascent, he felt slightly more... normal. He looked down to see how far he had to fall and noticed the ripples. He had been raised above their area of effect!
Then he fell once more, but landed on his foot neatly; the fist had hit him from directly below. He had fallen from far higher than that before and suffered only a chip on his claw.
He gazed over the chaotic roiling of the sand and admired its nature greatly. "Haha, what a joy!"
Alloexustio began hopping straight backward, preparing himself for a maneuver that would surely be a show-stopper. He just had to get out of the range of those sand ripples... _________________
