"Sure, why not?" Blue answered Ashaels protection question first, though 'things like Sabastian' immediately brought up the thing she knew she harboured. Well, it didn't really matter so long as no-one gave her cause to let it out, they should be safe. But if that creature or something similar decided to come at them then, well, she'd try to keep it off for as long as possible.

The mutant/alien hybrid turned her head slightly in order to look back at the mostly human group, though she kept walking in the city's direction nonetheless.

"Yeah" she said, agreeing with the newcomer "what do you mean by that, 'False Doorways'?"

[Kazumaru]

Markus spun on his heel, barely breaking pace as he did so. "Comment faites-vous pas… Je ne suis pas même de cette planète et je sais ! Ils sont ces portes qui n'ont rien derrière eux ! Ils vous raillent juste quand vous essayez de les ouvrir…" he said, struggling to get his confusion across without hand gestures, while also attempting to explain what exactly a false doorway was.

Ashael didn't understand most of what Markus said, but she did understand one thing. 'I am not even of this planet' Markus had said.

"Where did you come from, then?" Ashael asked him. She genuinely liked him.

[Swix]

"Probably from another world like most of the rest of us" Blue said, partially answering Ashaels question since there were so many here who weren't native she'd probably end up asking everyone "I got directions from a... very old friend on how to get here"

She had been about to say priest but the only priest she knew of was Father Mac, she hadn't yet come across any others and it might give too much away. The mutant/alien had to go past a very large bush which rustled worryingly without wind. Blue backed away from it cautiously as what appeared to be a large panther-like cat made it's way out of it towards them.

"Pantheresk!" Blue warned, jumping out the way of a paw swipe by using her wings to leap up high "this thing's dangerous, be careful!"

Ashael screamed, and drew both pistols. They started making a high pitch whistling noise much like a piton gun.

[Kazumaru]

"Tabernac!" Markus cussed, backpedalling. However, he didn't have the presence of mind to grab his gun, whose shells would surely eviscerate the beast, and instead he strengthened his grip on the camera.

[Zerrer]

The aura surrounding Ashael swelled up as the whistling suddenly stopped, signifying that the buildup was complete.

She pointed the left pistol at the creature's left shoulder, and the right pistol towards the left eye. She was ambidextrous, and so could do both of these actions at once. She tensed up and winced as she fired both spikes at once, following with normal shots.

The cat creature yowled in pain as both spikes hit their marks, one penetrating it's shoulder and causing bright red blood to leak from the wound it had caused, making the black fur seem even darker than it was thanks to the thick liquid. The other caught the beast in it's eye, cutting off the screech of pain as it hit the creatures brain, killing it instantaneously. The furry animal collapsed onto the ground, with it's legs held at odd angles and it's jaw snapped shut when it hit the unforgiving floor.

Blue dropped down from the tree above, clearly shaken and shaking. That thing had really rattled her, and that was very bad as she hadn't done anything to help them out. The mutant/alien breathed deeply, attempting to calm herself down as her all black eyes regarding the corpse and the foul smell that was even now in the air...

"We need to move" Blue said, looking up from the dead cat to the others with some urgency "right now, as fast as you can!"

Ashael obeyed Blue's command instantly. She ran. she was quite athletic from the tests and training she recieved from the Malum'res.

[Kazumaru]

Markus filmed the short battle with his camera, turning it towards Ashael as she ran away from the battle. He hadn't heard the command, but figured it was in his best interests to follow.

[Zerrer]

Ashael stopped running to try and catch her breath. She looked around and couldn't see anybody else.

"Hello? Is anybody there?"

Blue had flown after the two, thanks to her newly enlarged wings it had become the most convenient thing to do when trying to get somewhere in a hurry. But the half mutant stopped once she realised she'd gotten ahead of the others, since she could no longer see running forms below her.

Blue landed on a tree branch, calling back as she was sure she'd heard Ashael speak "I'm over here" she yelled "where's Markus?"

[Kazumaru]

Markus stumbled along, finding it hard to run with the camera in his hands. "Ici!" he shouted, rounding a corner and almost hitting Ashael.
