*Harpy smiles to herself. So he hadn't noticed she'd got here first eh? Well, let's see if he recognised her or voice while she hid under a beige coloured cloak*

*Making sure her eyes were covered, Harpy exits the room in which she'd found the appropriately placed item and stops a short way from the door where Kafka stands*

What help do you need?

*She asks in a slightly altered voice*

Kafka, in his panic, doesn't pick up on the voice. Breathing heavily, "Well, a cloak or something would be nice, I'm freezing..."

Pausing, he looks at the becloaked figure, "There was someone trying to kill me, look, they made me bleed." Leaning against the wall, he slides down it, getting his breath back.

*Harpy smiles at Kafka sliding down the wall, seeing him worn out and panicking was making her day. She nods at him*

Yes I see it cut you. What was it that attacked you? Would you like to borrow my cloak?

Slowly getting his breath back, "Some, some sort of avian...."

Tilting his head at her, "No, no, have you got a spare cloak or sheet, anything to cover me up, and help me get warm...."

*Harpy in her now becloaked human form tilts her head to the side slightly*

Avian? What do you mean by that?

*She then seems to think, before saying*

I have clothes under this, you appear to have none. Are you sure you don't want to borrow it? If it will help, I will give it to you...

*Harpy almost bites her tongue at the idea of actually helping the arachnid... But she was having so much fun!*

Nervously, "An avian is a bird of sorts. This one, this one transformed into a female. She was, luring, almost as if she was trying to entice me."

Pausing as she speaks about her clothing, "I, I just thought you'd have a spare cloak or sheet in this building."

Placing his head against the wall, closing his eyes, "But, if that is the only cloak here, and you are, uhm, ok to give it to me....."

What do you mean, enticing you? Into doing what?

*Harpy asks, curiousity getting the better of her before she pauses. She then quickly takes the cloak off her and throws it over Kafka, covering his face with it as well as his body. Once he got a clear view, he'd see it was her... and Harpy wondered what his reaction would be*

His suspicion raised, as the unusual personal curiosity let itself escape from her voice. But as he went to look at her, the cloak covered him and his face.

Busily moving it around himself, he stands up, and then looks at her, wide-eyed and gobsmacked, the cloak dangling around him. He looks around him in panic, but, he knows, in this corridor, she cannot transform, she wouldn't have the space, but he does.....

Suddenly, extra legs sprout from his sides, as his body becomes that of a Goliath Bird Eater again, the entire form forcing him to stand on the wall. Moving his fangs individually, they drip with venom the burns the ground.

He charges at her, angrily...

*Harpy thought this an interesting, if not entirely unexpected reaction. But finally realising the mistake she'd made by not giving herself an escape route to the outside, she turns and pelts down the corridor as he charges at her*

*After a few doors pass Harpy quickly turns and opens the door into the lounge, making her way inside. Now it was her turn to be afraid*

Kafka was nearing the avian as she suddenly turned into a room. Quickly he stops himself.

A few moments pass, and nothing, suddenly the door crashes open, and Kafka crashes through, almost skiddadling (excuse the expression) across the furniture. He stops for a moment, and then eyes the avian. He leaps at her, hoping to trap her underneath himself - his front legs spread wide, ready to close around her and his back legs ready for landing.

*Harpy almost thinks he's given up before the door is crashed open, a huge spider landing near the furniture, almost skidding*

*As Harpy eyes him eyeing her, she sees him jump at her. Harpy starts moving out of the way only to find herself knocked over and onto her back. The arachnid had successfully pinned her to the floor*

*Harpy stared at Kafka with her bright green eyes, a little anger and a lot of fear showing in them*

For full effect, Kafka drips some venom near the avians head, dissolving part of the carpet. Giving her time to really take it in, he transforms back to his human form, two of his arms pinning down Harpy's. His legs pinning down her legs.

"Remember, I could kill you now. I could make you die painfully and slowly. I will spare you this once. Just remember that!"

Pausing, he lowers his face slightly, looking both angry and inquisitive, "Just tell me, why were you hunting me?"

*Harpy takes it in, especially venom strong enough to dissolve carpet! She tries to struggle free but he'd pinned her rather efficiently. She stares at his now human face as he told he could kill her but he wasn't going to. She continues staring as he lowers his head*

You intrigued me. I have not seen something like you before, so I wanted to know what you thought of me, or learn more about you, That is why I 'hunted' you

*She paises before resuming*

Kafka looks shocked for a second, listening to what she had to say. "So, you are not of my kind. What is a mutant...?"

He slowly releases the grips on her arms, but for some reason hasn't yet let go of her legs. Slowly sitting up, he holds one hand to his head and begins to rub it.

*Harpy asks with absolutely no hint of concern in her voice. She props herself up on her arms as he's let go of her*
