Thats cool!
Would you say the DS browser is worth getting? I've been looking at it but I wasn't really sure. _________________ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve ~ Sir Walter Scott

For sure.
It takes an hour or so to get used to all the buttons but it is worth it.It is very fast for something not made for internet, and can help you get any info(like the pool times i just got )) plus i figured out how to view pages in a scalled mode so it isn't just crunched. The only drawback is that the ds cannot run java or flash applets, but it is perfect for allmost every site(Blackstar included.)

Cool.
I've never been a big fan of laptop computers, those palm pilot things or phones that think they're computers but portable internet access could be very useful. Plus it'd be a better use of my DS than playing Tetris, which is what I seem to do most.
Besides it'd confuse the hell out of some of my friends, which is always a good reason to do something.
Edit: It just occured to me that my above idea had the situation very much backwards and the true potential for this program is in its ninjaesque disguise capabilities!
Simply bring the DS with the browser running into your office/school/other slave labour institute and make very obvious use of it, establishing in the minds of everyone around you that this is your hand held personal organiser.
Then once the sight of you dilegently working away on your DS is firmly entrenched in peoples minds it'll be easy to subtly switch the cartridge for something much more fun and play your way through all those boring meetings, assembilies, classes, team-building excersises ect. ect. _________________ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve ~ Sir Walter Scott

BUMP!
Apologies for bringing back an old topic but it seemed like a better idea than starting a whole new one to say the exact same thing CP did here.
That's right - I finally bought a DS browser, which is what I'm posting on right now. It's a bit pointless right now because I'm sat next to a prfectly good PC but I bought it for when I'm travelling, something I seem to do a lot lately.
And I'm posting this now pretty much just because I can. _________________ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve ~ Sir Walter Scott

I don't know why I didn't get one earlier. There's been a few times where being without internet access was a real problem for me and it would have come in very useful.
I don't have, or plan to get a phone with internet, PDA, laptop or anything else like that because all I'd use it for is the internet and it's not worth the money, but this is perfect. _________________ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve ~ Sir Walter Scott

Bah - I'd just use my super-phone. I has a slide-out qwerty keyboard, and I like having the sensation of pushing a button when I type _________________
