The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny

[Ruster]

High in her fortress, Ruster's concentration wavered and her shock at this new turn of events echo though the battlefield.
Her army wavered with sudden uncertainty, allowing the fire beasts to gain a hold. Ranks upon ranks of them were falling under the ice and fire and their commander could feel their downfall.

However, high above the field, the great snake had still not moved.
Amongst the roaring flames and the crashing lightning its great eyes were fixed on the beast wreathed in smoke and fire. They glittered bronze and brimstone in the everchanging light and reflected the soul of their commander.

"Enough of this. You shouldn't have awoken me from my slumber..."

At the sound of these words wrath erupted in the heart of the Daemon.

"No! You... you keep out of this!" she screamed, voice hoarse and splintered "This is not your fight! And I will knock you down if you interfere!"

((oh yeah, just had to get in on the action didn't you ))

[Angel]

*ranks upon ranks of fiery warriors fall under the barrage of ice and lightening but more take their place, decending in battalions from the raging sky.
the currs hauling the imense seige weapons halt and they crank their weapons and, on the crash of great drumms, blast rocks, fire and sulphur at the fortress and the hill where Cloud stands. they reload with precision and speed and fire a second volley.

high above the battle, on the beasts smoke wreathed head, Red Angel raises her arms and the boiling storm of fire in the sky sends lances of fire crashing into every square inch of enemy terratory. it tears up the stone and lays the bed rock bare.*

[Cloud]

((yeah, bit worrying that good work red))

Under the tyrade of fire, the short brown army fell. They burned and flickered like kindling, their screams adding to the disharmonious cacophony that coated the battlefield.

Then they were buried, buried under rock and earth and stone.
The hills were smashed and flattened, and the valleys filled with their remains. Now the battlefield was flat and bleak. The forest gone, distroyed and burnt. The only signs that it was once were the corpses of the trees sticking up like broken teeth from the soil.

The emerald snake was gone. Buried like the rest under the flying bones of the earth.

"No, not dead, my dear Fire child, Air son." She spat, turning to the flat earth she screamed "Reveal yourself to me! Show these creatues that we cannot be beaten by fire alone!"

Suddenly the earth under the feet of the fire army quaked and shook. From the ground rose the body of the snake, like some undead creature, buried alive.
It's head came first, shaking the creatures off, like droplets rain off a crisp aspen leaf they fell to the ground.

A red toung lashed out to taste the air and the snake froze before turning towards the west.

There, on the the edge of the battle field was a great glittering army of restless beings, their blades jumping with light like electricity.

As the rest of the Emerald snake's body lased from the ground, a dark figure flew through the air and landed swiftly on it's head, bending to caress the Snake's smooth, glinting, green scales.

Ruster bent and wispered to her creation "Now, now is the time to show our skills against this tree-burner Estirion! Rebuild the forest sread your seed! show them that what they distroy is nothing! And their power little and meaningless!"

With these words Estirion opened her great mouth, and from it fell a green fog, thick, poisonous and gangrenous. It coated the ground in a six-foot layer of impenetrable blindness.

[Angel]

(( WHOOT! FF IX quote, lovin it! ))

*the beast of fire and smoke roared in a heaven splitting voice, made of iron and flame, it basked in the dying screams of its enemies. In its eyes the blood red lust grew into an inferno.

The front ranks of Angel’s army fell to the ground as it shook and shivered and gave birth to the magnificent Emerald creature. They strike at her sides with their blades but make no scratch, only breaking their swords. They fight fiercer as the green mist descends on them, obscuring all vision, sound and balance.

The hapless soldiers movements slow and they begin to creak. Their skins crease and harden into solid brown bark. Their feet delve into the ground, eating soil and drinking water, their arms rise up and their bodies lengthen into great, wide trunks. Boughs burst from their unrecognisable shoulders and backs, erupting into leaf immediately.

Eventually the thick mist clears and a dark, dank, trapped feeling takes its place, the forest watches and waits for the hapless soul or wandering spirit. The boughs shift and creak, leaves rustle in the darkness.

High above, the black wreathed Angel burns darker and fiercer. She is angry now.

She spurs her beast and it leaps over the forest in a single bound, landing close to the snake. It lunges with gaping maw at the head of the Emerald creature,*

CRACK!

Estirion brought a tail thicker than a thousand tree-trunks round, with the power of howling storm, to collide with the jaw of the beast as it hurtled with an avalanche momentum strait towards her and her Mistress.

The sound of cackling could be heard, and on the head of the enormous emerald reptile stood it's source.

"You will not defeat ME as you have defeated so many others! Here the distruction you create will end!" Another cackle, like the echo of trees cracking and falling, cuts through the air like tearing silk. "Sink your fangs into that puppy Estirion, as I have given you the power, take the victory that is rightly yours!"

With this, Estirion opened her great mouth and revealed once more her ominously acid-dripping fangs and livid tounge. Then, with eyes reflecting the fire and smoke of her enemy, she let out a menacing hiss that contained all the hate of centuries of battle between nature and fire and sent a shiver through any mortal soul within hearing.

She struck.

[Cloud]

*A whistle resounded throughout the darkened scene where two combatants battled. A blade aimed straight for Estirion as it was about to pounce on its prey. A robed figure stepped out of the shadows. He seemed more menacing than before, his eyes glowed through the darkness of his cloak. They looked a lot like the colour of lightning flickering in a storm. A billow of wind showed his face to be none other than Cloud. He didn't seem to care they had great beasts while he was alone. He was deadly silent bringing an almost eerie atmosphere to the peak of the supernatural.*

[Ruster]

While the Beasts battled with a fury never before seen on that relm, a lethal dart of light was glimpsed heading for a killing strike at Estirion's throat.

"Ha!" A harsh laugh tore itself free from Ruster's throat. "Come for what you want Cloud! You always were convoluted in your workings, it was ever your failing!"

With this, the figure on the neck of of the Snake rose to her feet, black, light absorbing robes whipping about her dark ankles as she slowly drew her needle-thin sword.

"It was foolish to challenge me on the graveyard of a forest magician! You know whence my power comes!"

Her head tilted upwards and she slowly rose into the air.

"I have gained in power since we last met, and now you have no none to protect you!"

[Cloud]

*Cloud's voice boomed despite his distance.*

I shall be the judge of whether your powers have flourished my dear.

*With that the blade with which he had thrown earlier returned to its master.*

Besides my plan is to draw you away from this place and render you weak and incapable of defeating me.

*Cloud casually walks up to Ruster, sword in hand. The demon sword, his prized possession, seemed to glow with a faint light as if it had somehow gained mass amounts of power.*

[Angel]

*The Beasts fires burn brighter and smoke rolls of its flanks as it battles. this is its purpose, this is its soul.

The ground shakes and the two beat eachothe backwards and forwards, landing a hit, blocking, taking hits. the earth beneath them is churned into a boiling mass of trees, stone and fire.

on the back of the fiery Beast Angel stands and calls down the fires of the heavens upon her foes. great bolts of solid power fork down and crash towards Ruster at imesurable speed*

[Sephirothsicase]

*A massive explosion gores into the air at the field, ice lunges out spreading a white mushroom cloud into the air, the ice expands to cover the battlefield, a bright figure clad in white appears, the cloak flutters in the wind, it gently falls to the ground and lands*

Excuse me to interupting, and excuse me for asking, I may be rather foolish asking this as I have been away for a while but, could somebody tell me, please, who these "Flock" are?

[Cloud]

You dare encroach on this unholiest of battlefields?

*Cloud yelled at the new figure.*

((The fighting has stopped We need to carry on! ))

*Seph wasnt in the mood for arguing*

((Yeah same here really, maybe not such a good idea to gang up on her though. Maybe I will try my hand at Seph, not had an actual battle with him yet...or have I?))

*Cloud walked away from Ruster towards Seph.*

What was it you called me? Do you really want to feel the wrath of my blade upon your flesh? I don't care if you are immortal, I will teach you a vital lesson if need be.
