New Worlds

[Speeder]

Everyone was bored. The Dojo was always growing, but it was way too small. So, many beings of different races tried opening gates to other worlds.

After many failed trials, the hope of new worlds discovered was starting to be failing. There seemed to be no way to travel, not even to the fabled elemental planes.

But, one day, after mixing water and sand in an magical orb, and transmuting energy into it in a high-magical field in a prepared chamber, and letting the chamber doors explode open after a week, it would explode the orb the moment it had been in the open air for more than five minutes. The containments would flare off, and a portal gate would open.

The world is slowly growing, but will take a week before it can be used as a settlement. The world is molding it's enviroment, and only about a small village ((One or two big houses.)) worth of space is available. But who knows what creatures will grow from this world? Who knows?

Main misson: Build settlement
Major misson: Find a way to use magic in this land. ((It is impossible to create at the time, since the world is building it's bare requirements, but after that is completed, you must find a way to use magic in this world. Until then, NOBODY is allowed to use magic, electricity, bioenergy or any kind of power, including gods. In fact, in order to use thier powers in the new world, the gods must have this misson done, and another misson that will come to light later. This counts for everyone, from people who have just joined, to mods.))

((I'm only giving gods a harder time because they seem to have far too much power for anyone to cope with, and can't be defeated unless they want to be. ))

One day later, and the area is now fit for about five big houses.

Speeder prepared for the journey. He, Blaze, Wade and Jester chopped some trees down, and collected some stone. Then they ventured into the gate, to the new world, to set up a colony.

After much devising, they group decided that Newgate, Worldsgate, Dojosgate and Portland were the most suitable names for the colony, but they would'nt choose a name unless nobody else showed up.

Near the portal, were two trees, one to each side. The four friends (Or master and three pets) used some of the wood for making the trees into living towers. Then they made a hut, to spend the night in.

*For the last few weeks, Creature had seen flashing lights and heard strange noises from the building across the street. Since that building was the town bathroom, he didn't pay any attention. What he did pay attention to was the strange noise he had heard about a week ago. It had been a while since he had heard anything odd and he was extremely bored, so he got up and went hopping off towards the strange noise.
*What he saw was surprising. Somebody had finally managed to open a portal to another world from within the Dojo. Being curious, Creature hopped right in.
*Inside was a small, foggy area, just about big enough for five houses. Seeing an opportune area for an undisturbed nap, Creature extremely slowly scraped a small depression into the ground, using the excess dirt to form a small ((about 6 inches high)) wall aroung the scrape, and went to sleep, dreaming of what he could do in the world in the morning.*
Ahhemmemhg. *SNORE*

((What do you mean by bioenergy? Google it and you get stuff about burning plants and food to make cleaner and healthier gas. ))

((This actually looks like a really interesting thread, and it seems pretty challenging. Little Sister would have no problems with the no-magic part, so I'll probably use her - using her might give me a good headstart, but I think I'll begin to struggle in the long run due to the fact that she currently doesn't know how to use any kind of magic. I think restricting bioenergy is the wrong way to put it (unless you want everyone to die), could you reword it a little?

Sorry if you've already explained this, but must we all be in the same village/world, or do we each get our own village/world?))

((Yes, what do you mean by 'bioenergy' Speeder? Would it affect genetic powers? For Fade's invisibility is not magic but genetic, she is kind of like a super enhanced chameleon the way her power works))

World is twelve big houses in size, and it's day 2!

Speeder and his norns woke up. There they saw the lump that was Creature.

They improved the house that day, and helped Creature build some of his ideas.

[Rokhnaos]

(( Worlds in toilets? Now THAT would be a good RP I was talking about a random bathroom across the street that was glowing and stuff but wasn't important. The portal thing out in the middle of wherever was where Creature went, not to the bathroom ))
*Creature woke up to see three fuzzy animals and a insert adjective about Speeder here looking at him. He slowly got up and stared back. Eventually ((like after 3 seconds)) he got bored with the staring. The gerbil on Creature's head started speaking.*
Gerbil: Hello. Who are you?
*Speeder and the other norns respond, I assume *
Gerbil: Nice to meet you. Lets go do..stuff.
*Creature goes off and starts building stuff, along with help from Speeder and friends. They build many things, including a small altar to Cupcake.*
Gerbil: Wheet-twa-whoo..wheetha-wohta-woo *Whistles, horribly off tune.*

[Speeder]

(When Creature prays to Cupcake) Nothing happens.
Creature prays again. Nothing happens.
Creature swears about Cupcake. He is NOT turned into a sad looking foodstuff.

Speeder and Norns: SIGH! Some people NEVER learn!
Speeder: He can't hear you! There's no way any god can use powers HERE, at the moment!

*Addman looked around this tiny world*

I don't recognise anyone here yet.

*The puppet walks over to Speeder and his Norns. He vaugely recognised him from the dojo, although he'd had very little to do with him at all.*

You! Tell me what's happening here!

[Speeder]

"Hello! Welcome to the new world! We have some slight inconvinces, including lack of magic, or any kind of high powered energy, and gods have no way, what so ever, to enter this world, unless they come, fully mortal!

Unfortunely, even the strongest of magics do not work, so, let's just say your weapon can't do much except deal normal damage.

Please help us make this world a nice place, for battle, living, and life. We hope you enjoy your stay!"

Speeder started building a farm, to herd animals, and to feed the population. He then took some sheep he took from the Dojo, and plonked them in a field.

[addman]

Hmm, well in that case, I'd better build some kind of shelter.

*Three hours later, three sticks are arranged in a triangle formation, balancing uncertainly against each other in a TeePee shape. underneath them, Addman is curled up, shivering from the cold.*

[Speeder]

"Don't worry! You can always take one of the huts we built anyway! We have a couple to spare!"

((Speeder has a big, house. He needs to, if he wants to have his norns living with him!))

((What size a house do you want?))


Speeder built a shed, full of hay for bedding. He drove the sheep in there for the night, since it was going to rain.

"Take this hut! It has plenty of stuff!"

[Rokhnaos]

Gerbil: NOOO!! Curst you, evil not-goddish-having-ish of this new world!!!

*After Creature saw the odd, blue, furry thing come in and start helping, Creature went off and started exploring the boundaries of the new world.*
Gerbil: Hmm, it's getting sorta dark around here, and some fog is setting in.
*Turns around and sees a perfectly bright and sunny day shining over the world behind him."
Gerbil: That's odd.
*Keeps walking into the mist. Eventually, it gets even more dense.*
Gerbil: Help! I'm drowning!
*Creature swats the gerbil.*
Gerbil: ....
Gerbil: ...You kn-
*Creature spins around, backhands the gerbil in the face, and tosses him onto the ground.*
Gerbil: ouch
*After a while, the mist started thinning out again. Creature started running, hoping to get out of the mist and see what was up ahead as soon as possible. Finally, he burst out of the mist, only to see that he was back in the new world, just on the opposite side.*
Gerbil: #$*@?;#&%!!!!!
*Creature looks at gerbil.*
Gerbil:...
Gerbil: Well, seeing as there's nothing else to do, let's go help Speeder with the farm he's bulding.
Gerbil (Creature): You're getting too independent.
Gerbil: So?
Gerbil (Creature): Just be quiet.
((About the gerbil: the gerbil speaks for Creature, since Creature's mouth and vocal cords can't speak Blackstar-dojo-ish yet. Unfortunately, it's getting too smart from close contact with Creature.))
*Creature walks over and helps Speeder with the farm he's building. When gets dark andlooks like it's going to rain, he steals some hay and goes to sleep in his scrape. *
