Rules:

-You CAN change Pokemon between matches

Sleep Clause: You can only put one Pokémon on your opponent's team to sleep. The exceptions to this is if the person uses Rest(in which your opponent controls it), or you have an ability that induces sleep(such as Effect Spore).

Hax Items Clause: You cannot use items that bring a factor of luck into the game. These items are Quick Claw, King’s Rock, Bright Powder, and Lax Incense.

Evasion Clause: You cannot use moves that increase your evasion.

Hack Clause: You cannot use extreme-hacked Pokémon. By extreme-hacked, I mean that it is unobtainable by all ways inside the game. For example, it has the wrong ability, 999 stats, and/or a moveset such as Mind Reader, Fissure, Sheer Cold, and Lock-on. You are able to use hacked Pokémon, as long as they have legal movesets, a legal ability, and stats that fall inside their caps.

OHKO Clause: You cannot use moves such as Horn Drill and Sheer Cold that cause a One-Hit KO all the time.

Legend Clause: You cannot use legendaries. It's simple. Phione and Rotom do not count.

Uber Clause: No uber-tier Pokémon allowed. These are Mewtwo, Mew, Wobbeffet, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Latias, Latios, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Deoxys (every form), Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Manaphy, Darkrai, and Arceus.

Explosion Clause: If the battle ends in a draw due to Explosion, Selfdestruct, or Destiny Bond, the user of that certain move loses instead.

Item Clause: No duplicate items allowed.

Species Clause: No Pokémon of the same species allowed.

NOTE: this is a tourney if your not serious DON'T compete

Prizes:
1st- 85% of pot, 5 Rare Candies, 5 Heart Scales, 3 Pokemon (Selected ones, but you choose, 1st picks)
2nd-10% of pot, 3 Rare Candies, 3 Heart Scales, 2 Pokemon (Selected ones, but you choose, 2nd picks)
3rd-5% of pot, 1 Rare Candy, 1 Heart Scale, 1 Pokemon (Selected ones, but you choose, last picks)

Everyone will be guaranteed at least two match (depends on amount of competitors), as I will make playoffs according to seedings.

Point system:
- 1pt for each KO
- 2pt for each win
- 1pt for each tie
- -1pt for each default lose
- Default win means 6-0 win for winner
- -1pt for each mercy lose (using the run function)

I will set a time for battle and if competitor, doesn't warn me that they won't make they will be disqualified 10 minutes after the start time. If Hacks or Ubers are found, the person will automatically forfeit the match. More Information will be posted as the tourney gets closer. This is new information! Register now, because after May 1st an entrance fee will be applied. So enter now! The fee will be either a 50 or 100 , after May 1st.

Bookmakers will be either 2/1 or 3/1 for all matches. Odds will change according to standings. Bookmakers will have other odds as playoffs approachs.

Well the lack of interest deeply saddens me, the deadline for registrations is May 23 and now officially waiving off the fees, so join and be wealthy! If there is still under four contestants there will be a merger tourney, and I'll change the prizing (for the worse). And the merger will include PokeCommunity, PKMN.net, Pokemon Elite 2000,and PokeGym. It will be a doozy if it goes into a merger.

Well I couldn't join even if I wanted to because I don't have a useable team. I've been focused pretty much entirely on in-game stuff so I don't have a PVP team and I'm not sure it'd fit those rules if I did.

And to be totally honest those rules are a bit overwhelming, it's a lot to remember. Probably not so bad if I had a wide selection of useable pokemon and it was just a matter of working through them to match up ones I can use, but I don't.

Wow this really sucks. Usually the other communities from the potential mergers sits have these rules as standard for most matches. I guess we have to brace ourselves for a merger tourney. Mount Moon is also going to be part of the potential merger.

Well maybe it'll just have to be a matter of leaving Blackstar out of the tournement. I can't speak for anyone else but personally I don't have any experience with tournements, aside from the Blackstar one which had it's own rules, so I wouldn't know what's standard rules and what isn't. All I know is I don't have any useable Pokemon that fit those rules.
