The lord of chaos was neither hurt nor daunted by Ashael's offensive rejection. He simply was not surprised. Although the creature seemed ugly and hostile, to it, Alloexustio was the one who looked odd. And, since it was a creature with large eyes, it probably made most of its judgments on what it could see. His plan was not to hook the girl upon their first meeting, but to establish that he himself meant her no harm.

She did not seem convinced.

Perhaps he could show his... values by eliminating a common enemy. Surely something nasty enough could present itself. If Ashael's life was in immediate danger, then maybe his help would be a bit more welcome...

Alloexustio hopped quietly away into the forest. Whatever was in there, it would surely prove a horrendous peril.

[Mitsukai]

Now that the bandage had disappeared and stopped obstructing her view of the wrist, and to her surprise, she realized that it wasn't a real bandage, Nynaeve could see that his wrist was very much broken. It seemed to hung limply, and the area around it was swollen.

Gun... and broken wrist... she wasn't sure how the two worked together, but that didn't matter right now.

Tsking again, she let go of his wrist and set her bag down before rumaging through it.

"Yes, we'll join you. I would like to be in a somewhat safer spot to heal Markus since it seems there has been a fight here recently," she replied in answer to Blue's question as she pulled out a roll of bandage. Walking over to one of the trees, she snapped off two branches of roughly the same length and width before walking back.

"Si, nous devons marcher un peu jours," she answered before gesturing for him to take off his jacket/shirt so that she could bandage up his wrist properly.

((I don't know what Markus is wearing, so if he's wearing a jacket or a long sleeved shirt, that needs to come off. ))

[Kazumaru]

Markus shrugged off his bomber jacket, biting into his lip as it passed over his broken wrist. On the left breast, there was a sewn-on name tag, reading "DeVane" and below it were several unit patches, of varying age.

[Mitsukai]

Taking the jacket, Nynaeve placed it on the ground beside her bag.

She placed her hands on the wrist before closing her eyes. "Sprit of earth, wind, and water... Come to my aid... Let me use your powers to heal this one in need..." A soft light grew from underneath her hands to encompass the broken wrist. She concentrated on not using too much energy, and only on fixing the wrist so that it would be able to heal by itself faster. Markus would feel some shifting and not too much pain since his bones would be moving back into place.

At last, the light died away and Nynaeve opened her eyes.

"Comment est-il?" she asked him as she stooped down to pick up her bandages and the two branches.

[Zerrer]

"How did you do that?!" Ashael was astonished. She had looked over towards Nynaeve just in time to see the glow. "Do you think you could teach me?" She asked this almost timidly.

[Mitsukai]

Nynaeve smiled kindly.

"I probably could if you had the capability to, though now's not the time for teaching."

[Kazumaru]

"Il est..." Markus paused, looking at his wrist. "C'est meilleur!"

"Merci, madame, merci beaucoup." he said, putting his jacket back on.

He jogged over to his gun and camera, shoving the gun back into its holster and sweeping the area with the camera. He then turned it on himself. "Désolé à ce sujet... a cassé mon poignet." he said, smiling weakly, before turning it back to the rest of the crowd.

Markus focused it on the lady who had healed him. The camera had her tagged as human, but Markus didn't quite believe it. "Je suis désolé... Je ne pense pas que j'ai obtenu votre nom."

As an afterthought, he added "Uh... Je pense que ceci a glissé mon esprit avec mon poignet cassé et tous, mais je peux comprendre l'amende anglaise... Je juste ne peux pas la parler." smiling sheepishly again.

[Swix]

Blue rolled her eyes, not that the others would be able to see it thanks to her new appearance, but it was a comfortingly familiar gesture to her so she did it anyway.

"Can we go now?" she asked, slightly impatiently "it's just, I happen to know someone who calls the Wilds her home and she's not really the nicest person around"

"Sure." Ashael got up, brushed herself off and walked towards Blue.

[Mitsukai]

Nynaeve glanced at Markus' wrist skeptically. It shouldn't be that well to do unless..

A wave of dizziness passed over Eve. Grimacing, she realized that she had indeed used to much energy. Too late to change that now.

Taking a moment to regain her senses, Eve smiled weakly at him. "Madamoiselle s'il-vous plait, madamoiselle. J'ai seul seize ans."

She didn't comment on the picture taking, simply because there were other things for her to worry about. Breathing deeply to calm herself down, she continued on.

"Je suis Nynaeve, mais tu peux appeler moi Eve." Pausing a moment to take in his afterthought, she sighed. "You could have said that earlier you know."

With a wave of her hand for him to follow, she began slowly walking over to Blue. "Yes we can go. Thank you for waiting and being our guide."

[Kazumaru]

Markus followed Eve, talking as he walked. "Désolé... C'est un plaisir de vous rencontrer, cependant. Mon nom est Markus... Markus DeVane."

He tapped his video camera, forgetting that he was behind everyone else. "Je suis un journaliste indépendant. Je pourrais vous rendre célèbre, vous savez."

He then turned the camera towards Blue. "Ainsi... Est-ce que n'importe qui sait à quelle distance Dojopolis est d'ici?"

[Swix]

Blue bowed sligjhtly to Nynaeve after she walked over to her, with Markus behind her, wrist apparently now no trouble judging by the fact that he was pointing his camera at people.

The mutant/alien hybrid raised a black eyebrow at him.

"Err... to be honest I have no idea" she said, shrugging her black fabric clad shoulders "probably a couple days by foot, it's about half a day by wing"

Blues large black wings that she was unable to hide anymore moved slightly, as if to emphasize the point.

"Unless anyone has a Warp Portal or something" Blue said, pausing deliberately here since she was pretty sure somebody would have said something by now if they did "follow me, this way"

The creature then turned with a flick of her black scaly tail in the direction of the city. It and the Sanctuary were about the same distance, but she didn't to take Ashael to visit there just yet. Besides, either no-one here knew she was a member of the religious group the Flock that had once attempted a 'cleansing', so to speak, or they didn't care. Though the latter best described Blue at this moment in time. Sure she was being helpful, but most of it was an act. It had to be now.

[Zerrer]

"A couple days?!" Following Blue, Ashael was astounded. In her world, almost everything was city. "With things like Sabastian waltzing around?!" A bit of fear crept into her eyes.

Then she realized something, and relaxed. "At least you survive here."
Do you think you could protect me?" Ashael asked nobody in particular.

[Kazumaru]

"Quelques jours?" Markus said, sighing. "Puits d'Oh."

Markus turned, careful not to lose his balance. "Excuses à mon rédacteur." he said, for the benefit of the camera. "Quelque chose plus serrant que les habitudes de multiplication du False Doorways a été soulevée."

[Zerrer]

Ashael's mind caught on the english word from Markus's words.
"False doorways? What are those?"
