Ishala's mind raced as she felt something softly hit her arms, she turned round to see where it had come from and her arms promptly fell down to her sides,
~Bones! My bones! He's...stolen my bones!~ she considered her next move, while keeping her eyes trained on the location where she believed the charms had come from. Her arms were useless now, or were they? If she encased them in ice, then some semblance of mobility might be possible, it was the best she had.
Ice flowed down her arms, hardening and forming crude blades, with none of the quality of her previous blades, she was pressed for time. She carefully tried to raise her arms, hard, and not practical, but it was the best she could do, until whatever it was that had made her arms boneless wore off, if it did. Time for a more controlled approach,
~To hell with controlled approaches.~ Ishala called up her fog again, though it was thinner than before, this prolonged fight was draining her, and she couldn't waste her energy on calling mists. Holding her blade-arms before her, like lances she ran forward towards the general area the charms had been thrown from, only one though raced through her mind,
~I am so dead.~ _________________

((Sorry for the late response, alakin1, I thought I'd posted but obviously I haven't ))
HollowEyes watched carefully from where he was hiding as his opponent turned her arms into a huge pair of ice lances. As he watched her doing this, he couldn't help but feel that perhaps the beetle charms would have been a better choice after all, though at the same time he realized that whilst the lances were big, without any arm bones to support them they'd probably have much less force behind them.
The ground around Ishala suddenly misted up once more, and a thin veil of fog began to cloak her. It wasn't as dense as before, but it was enough to blur her image, to the point that HollowEyes had little confidence in striking her from a distance. The Parasitian cursed as he realized how she'd twisted the battle to her advantage in an instant - by casting away strategies and charging forward for a reckless final attack, Ishala was effectively forcing HollowEyes to do the same. He had no time to come up with a smarter way of countering it, as he couldn't tell if she'd actually spotted him or was just running in his general direction.
~This really should have gone better...~ He thought to himself, irritated that he was struggling against the first opponent he'd had in a while. Feeling that his best chances lay in shattering the ice spears, he stepped out from behind the tree that was hiding him and prepared to take the attack head on. He was quickly dragged to the ground as the beetle charm he stuck to his horn took effect, enlargening the boney structure until it was the size of a small wall, at least big enough to cover the rest of HollowEyes' body in this sort of position.
It seemed that the fight would all come down to HollowEyes' defense against Ishala's offense.
((I've left it at a bit of a strange place, but I'm not trying to force you to powerplay here Alakin.
To explain HollowEyes' defense, his horn is made of bone, and with a beetle charm it becomes larger and a bit denser than before. If your ice lances can pierce through a small stone wall (don't forget your lack of bone support in your arms though ), then that's what will happen (if that's the case, please be specific about where you hit - ie: top part, left side, etc. - so that I can then react). If not, I guess they'll shatter?
That's just a guess on my part, obviously you know your characters abilities better than I do, so I'll leave the outcome of this up to you.)) _________________ If I'm not here, I'm probably over at...

Ishala regretted attacking as she saw Holloweyes prepare his defense, however it was too late to stop now, not without falling over at least. She smashed into the centre of the wall-sized horn, the hardened ice shattering against the harder bone. Her arms fell back down to her sides, dangling uncontrollably. Her mist abruptly evaporated. Ishala grinned, though she wasn't sure why,
"Congratulations. I think you may have...won." she jumped back, conscious that falling over would mean that she'd be on the ground until her bones returned. She was breathing hard now, and her arms hurt somewhat, which was unexpected, but then again, nerves weren't bones so she guessed they were still there,
"I think we can call it quits, no?"
((That's the end for me, unless you want to continue?)) _________________

"If you are satisfied with ending like this, then that's fine by me." HollowEyes responded. He'd fought with a few opponents like this before, and as there were no grudges between he and Ishala and she was no enemy to the Council (that he knew of, that is), he had no problem with ending the fight here.
Truth be told, he was a little relieved. For a moment there he'd been worried that her charging was a feint, and that she might have had some other sort of plan, but as usual it seemed that he was overthinking things. "Your bones will come back quicker if you remove the charms." HollowEyes explained to Ishala, as now that his horn was reverting back to it's normal size he could see that she seemed a bit concerned about them. Nobody ever thought to remove the cause of the problem, which always struck HollowEyes as odd. To him the solution seemed obvious, but maybe it wasn't so much so to others.
"It's been a while since I last took part in one of these challenges, thank you for an interesting fight." It seemed a bit strange, to thank somebody for cutting one of his arms and nearly running him through with spears, but it had kept him on his toes, and HollowEyes had lately been feeling that he was getting a bit rusty.
((Okay, done. Thanks again for a good fight alakin1, even though we both kind of ignored the time limit in the end I really enjoyed it.
I've forgotten, were we getting somebody to judge this or are we just accepting this as the final result?)) _________________ If I'm not here, I'm probably over at...

((Same here. I'd personally prefer a judging. Any friendly passing judges feel like judging?)) _________________

Well well, it's been a while since I've judged anything. However here are the scores for you two .
Alakin:
Believability: 9/10. This has been my first time seeing you play this character, however I couldn’t see many problems. The only thing is that you could use a little more experience playing her, as it was quite obvious this is a fairly unused character of yours. However I won’t penalise you too much for that, it can’t really be helped.
Powerplay: 0/-10. Having read your characters profile, I could see no problems with powerplaying.
Personality/Flair: 8/10. Ishalas attitude was quite interesting, first with the coldness, then the grin at the end of the fight. Again, this would be easily rectified with a little more experience.
Cleverness/Inventiveness: 20/20. I know, I’m actually giving someone full marks for this! Whilst swinging your ice-blades around or making them big and strong would be attractive, instead you decided not to do this and opted for more inventive ways to attack. Misting the area and immediately attacking rather than waiting is something that took me by surprise, throwing the ice blades at the ball of lava to cool it was an interesting idea, and turning HollowEyes jellyfish charms to your advantage is something I thought I’d never see.
Grammar/Spelling: 7/10. It’s pretty good overall, and whilst I did find a few spelling mistakes it’s the overuse of commas that really lets you down.
44/50.
3kul:
Believability: 10/10. You RP HollowEyes as well as I’ve ever seen anyone do such a thing with their character, so it’s pretty much something I’ve come to expect from you.
Powerplay: 0/-10. As usual, I saw no problems with this, even with the Ruby Dagger about.
Personality/Flair: 10/10. Your writing style remains a pleasure to read, and HollowEyes was his usual charismatic self.
Cleverness/Inventiveness: 19/20. Tricking Ishala into moving where you wanted her to go with the tree and floating lava ball was an impressive move, even for you . Just for that you get a high score.
Grammar/Spelling: 9/10… What… what’s this? A spelling mistake? Apart from this one little slip up, your spelling and grammar is as impeccable as usual.
48/50.
Looks like 3kul is the winner by 4 points. I enjoyed reading the RP between you two (suddenly I feel like I want to challenge someone with Endorphine again ).
It's good to see you've vastly improved since I first met you Alakin, keep it up . You might not have won but that's still a respectable score. _________________ Baker of the radioactive three-eyed flying purple cookie eating brownies!
