Tamae vs. Alloexustio

Alloexustio was exceedingly happy that his plan had worked. They always did. Alloexustio may have lost his edge in this fight, however. If any strange sand movements occurred, it would be obvious that they were threats. Alloexustio knew this, but he was also afraid that Tamae knew as well. Perhaps the fact that Alloexustio was aware of this was a no-brainer.

Alloexustio stopped for a moment to think. He then giggled crazily for a second or two and then immediately became stone-faced. This Tamae... she was tough, but absolutely nothing compared to Alloexustio. It was obvious now. These sand tricks simply did not have the kind of quality needed to destroy a Nexus soldier.

As for that ripple in the sand heading toward him...

Alloexustio drew in his magnetic barrier. It drew in so close that it was wrapped tightly around him. It charged and a sick spectrum of neons and pastels was faintly distinguishable on the outline of Alloexustio's body.

"CHAOS WAVE!" Alloexustio's shout was succeeded by a violent outward explosion of his magnetic field. Sand was being repulsed in massive amounts around him as the blast extended. The ripple was directly in the path when the explosion reached its peak.

Alloexustio then withdrew a small chunk of citrine quartz from his chest cavity. "From oblivion... TO oblivion," he shouted. Alloexustio threw the citrine grenade into the group of clones. The powerful disruption that would ensue would kill most of them, he was sure of it.

Tamae was downright suprised when an explosion of sorts surrounded Alloexustio, destroying the golem in the process. As if that wasn't enough, shortly after that, he took something resembling a hunk of quartz out of his chest and chucked it at the group of clones and golems.

The original only cared about her own life, and she darted. The resulting explosion from the grenade completely obliberated the clones, plus removing the remaining golems.

Breathing hard, she looked at her foe. He had just proven himself to be one heck of a powerful opponent. This wasn't the easy win she had so boldly predicted.

Looks are deceiving, she thought to herself as she tried to figure out another way to damage this monster.

She quickly noticed the creature's skin was made of stone. That explained why her first clone's earlier attacks did absolutely nothing. However, that also opened up a plan.

She wasn't just a woman capable of controlling sand and creating clones of herself. She was also a potent Fire Sorceress. And that was something that Alloexustio had yet to learn.

Well, it wouldn't take him very long to find that out. And when he did, he would find the fact most painful.

A wicked smile flickered across Tamae's face breifly. But before she could start with the next phase, she wanted to try one more thing with the sand.

Curling her right hand into a fist, she raised it and slammed it on the ground. This caused the sand to ripple slightly, and then, a massive fist of sand flew out of the ground. Using all the power she could muster, she attempted to use the fist to send Alloexustio flying.

Alloexustio was caught completely off guard at this direct and brutal attack. Getting the full force of the fist, Alloexustio crumpled under the force of the blow.

But not for long.

In three seconds' time, he hopped back up on his foot. This Tamae was an evil, wicked creature. Her moves were well planned- a sign of order, yet her powers seemed so chaotic. One of those well-balanced souls.

Alloexustio held his lower left arm out. Perhaps it was time to be a bit rougher on this girl. The air around his hand warped ever so slightly at a regular interval of moments. Alloexustio was charging his hand but containing the magnetic field around it. A few more seconds, and he could release the field right into Tamae, sending her flying away from him in some random direction depending on how and where the field hit her. The chances of dodging this field were slim, but it was always a possibility.

But then, if she did dodge it, that's what polarity reversal was for. He'd change its direction as many times as he had to until it hit her. Alloexustio sniggered with delight. This was going to be very very fun!



It was ready. Alloexustio let down the protector and the magnetic field flew forth.

((Okay, really sorry for the extremely late reply! I think it be about time to finish this one up.))

Tamae couldn't help but grin evilly as Alloexustio was nearly leveled by her blow. It had taken this to actually get a hit in on this most annoying of foes, but she'd done it.

Her joy, however, was short lived.

Alloexustio was quick in getting back up, and promptly performed some fancy hand movements. Watching this, she wondered what the heck he was doing-and was caught completely off gaurd by the resulting field.

It hit her dead on, sending her flying backwards. After a few moments, she landed face down a good distance away from the dinoinsectoid.

Spitting out sand as she pushed herself up, it was very clear that she wasn't too happy with having a triumphant feeling crushed so quickly.

If she wasn't angry before, she definately was now. With one swift motion, she cast off her cloak. In her outstretched hand, one could see heat waves gathering. Suddenly, a burst of flame appeared and molded itself into an arrowhead-shaped sword who's hilt Tamae quickly grasped.

Swinging the sword forwards so it pointed directly in front of her, she stared at her opponent with a look of pure venom. Then she pointed the blade downwards and plunged it into the ground, sending a ring of fire spreading outwards within a 10 foot radius.

If that managed to damage Alloexustio, it would work for Tamae. However, this wasn't meant to be a full-fledged attack. Rather, it was a demonstration of her and the Fire Lightblade's power.

Alloexustio raised a proverbial eyebrow at this anger venting display by his enemy. She was not anywhere close to ten feet away. Alloexustio gained a silly grin.

He began to hop around her in a circle. Around and around he went in his sandy orbit. Little did Tamae know that there was method to his madness. Alloexustio was creating a semi-spherical electromagnetic field around his opponent. She would be unable to escape if only for the very iron in her blood. Wherever she touched it, it would close around her, at which point he had another surprise for her.

He couldn't resist an insane giggle.

Yanking her sword out of the ground, Tamae quickly glanced around to see where her opponent was and what he was doing.

It didn't take her long. The creature was hopping around her in a circle, sporting a silly grin and giggling insanely.

What the devil he was doing was beyond her - the only thing she was thinking right now was sending this thing to its doom. And she knew just how to do it.

Flames began to form around the end of her lightblade. After a few seconds, she swung it as hard as she could, sending a disk of fire flying towards Alloexustio.

Her intentions - cut off the dinoinsectoid's single leg, immoblizing it, and then swoop in to deliver the coup de grace.

Alloexustio's field was very near completion when the marauder came in the form of a disc of flame. The demon failed to notice until it was too late. The incomplete field closed around the fire disc instead.

FWOOOM!

The disruptive explosion that ensued was accompanied by a blinding flash of what appeared to be the corona of an apple-sized star. Alloexustio was hit so hard by this disruption, it pile drove him into the sand nearby. The demon was dazed. He only hoped the explosion was more harmful to the fiend that had caused it!

Or would that be me? Bah, it doesn't matter, she's got to be hurting.

Alloexustio strained, but managed to pull himself into a sitting position to see what had become of Tamae.

Tamae had expected for her attack to deal some damage to Alloexustio. However, she did not expect it to do what it did.

As the fire disc neared its target, something got in its way and caused an extremely loud and bright explosion.

Although Tamae's eyes were driven shut by a reflex, and thus mostly protected, she could not say the same for her hearing.

Although she was far enough away from its core not to take too much damage, she was close enough to take some nasty burns on her exposed skin.

After a few seconds, she blinked several times to help her regain her vision, and glanced around searching for the dinoinsectoid.

While she was engaged in that, she noticed everything had gone unusually quiet.

Interesting... Hey, wait a minute!

She promptly spun around to glance at the sea, crashing in waves behind her. She knew she was close enough to hear them, yet somehow she didn't.

The explosion was loud enough to deafen Tamae for the rest of the fight - a fact that made her even angrier towards Alloexustio. When her eyes finally settled on him again, the look on her face indicated a strong desire to kill.

Thankfully, she had not lost her lightblade. Strongly detirmined to put an end to this vile, volatile bug, she covered it in flames and pointed it in Alloexustio's direction. In another second, the flame covering shot off with the speed of an arrow. Judging by the fact that he was sitting, and not standing, and it would take a lot for a creature with one leg to get up and avoid the attack, it should deal a hefty amount of damage to the dinoinsectoid. Of course, she had not taken into consideration the fact that he might have more tricks up his sleeves....

Alloexustio saw Tamae's move coming, but when he raised a hand to deflect the blast, he found that his abilities had been staunched. The explosion! he thought. A disruption like that in sand had created an untold amount of static electricity. Alloexustio had enough time to eliminate the charge, but no more.

The fire blast hit him in the head. Fortunately, he was already sitting, so the blast knocked his head back against the driven sand dune created by the explosion's crater. The arrow of flames singed and burned his antennae, causing him to whine in pain.

When it passed, Alloexustio was angrier than he'd been in a long time. He used his abilities to actually levitate himself into a standing position. Tamae seemed relatively undamaged, save for her heavy, uncontrolled breathing. Her hearing must have been damaged by the explosion.

Alloexustio squinted. He appeared to be looking at Tamae's feet, but was actually concentrating on the sand behind her. He needed a catalyst. Luckily, one was nearby. Through the sand poked a familiar face of antagonism. The nail that was buried in the sand before had become a ferromagnet due to overexposure to the demon's magnetic field. Alloexustio had planned this, though hoped he would not have to do it- it had no flair whatsoever.

But it was going to be so cool!

He held his arm out. Two options presented themselves. Alloexustio thought on them and decided he would do both! Now that would have some flair. Alloexustio moved his hand back toward him and the iron nail flew at Tamae's back.

Tamae grinned deviously. Now this bug was finally feeling pain, the pain that it most rightfully deserved. She reveled in it.

To her, there was no more enjoyable sight in the world then seeing an enemy in pain.

Apparently, though, the blast didn't make the kill she'd expect it to make. Instead, it actually managed to levitate itself back into a standing position.

After a few moments, it did some fancy arm movements.

Not exactly grasping what Alloexustio was doing, and having completely forgotten about the nail that slew one of her clones earlier, she said: "What, you actually think fancy arm movements are going to defeat YEEEP!"

After recovering from the shock and sudden pain, she turned, and pulled Alloexustio's nail out of her rump.

Not only had the dinoinsectoid managed to hurt her physically that time, he'd also managed to damage her pride some as well.

She was close enough to the nail's eruption site not to get hit in the spot where it would had been lethal, but it did manage to hit in a spot she'dn not spent too much time thinking about. She decided she would try to heal it herself later - she didn't have the guts to go and show the wound to the Desertblaze medicine demon, given the place where it was.

As she looked at it, she knew it would be foolishness to simply let it go. By now, she'd learned that this thing controlled magnetism, and if she dropped the nail, it would have free reign over it again. But if she kept her grip on it, she might be able to use it to her advantage.

The beast's stone skin meant that most of it was invulnerable to physical damage. But when the mouth was open....

She decided to wait until Alloexustio's mouth was open again, and then let his own abilities destroy him.

For now, however, she held the nail in between the knuckles on her left hand, jutting it out like a spike. With the lightblade in her other hand, she created another fire disk that she sent flying towards one of Alloexustio's arms, in another attempt to sever one of his body parts.

Alloexustio snickered as he saw the result of his attack. It wasn't what he'd hoped for, but it had been amusing nonetheless. Next this woman, scorned awfully beyond all doubt, launched another fire disk at him. The demon of Chaos spun like a vortex and spiraled out of the disk's way.

Alloexustio now hoped to pull off the second prong of his attack. He looked over Tamae once more, judging her weight. Had the nail not been ferromagnetic, such a maneuver would have been near of impossible; but this nail was iron. Alloexustio now held out two right arms. The monster used his smaller as a catalyst for the magnetic pull he was about to attempt. Usually, the hand motions were only for fun- he could use his abilities without moving a muscle, but this required much more effort.

Alloexustio extended the claws on his larger hand toward Tamae and, with the other hand, yanked the ferromagnetic nail toward his body, using a classic attractive force. If all went well, Tamae would be pulled along with the nail, due to her firm grip, and he would impale her on his claws.

Tamae was mildly surprised when Alloexustio dodged her attack. So a creature with only one leg managed to perform a speedy, twirling manuever?

Never mind that. Now, the creature's arm movements indicated that another attack was coming.

She felt a pull on the nail, and with one quick glance at Alloexustio, she guessed that he would use the nail's magnetism to pull her towards him, with the end result being Tamae being stabbed and ultimately dying.

Well, he wasn't going to see this coming.

Carefully, Tamae loosened her grip on the nail, trying to aim it towards the beast's mouth.

While doing that, she acted like she was being pulled along with it, just as the dinoinsectoid planned. But when she was a few feet away, she had gotten her aim straight, and she let go of the nail.

It flew at an upwards angle, as if it was going to hit Alloexustio in the chin, but was actually heading for a gap in between his upper and lower jaws.

Alloexustio was rather perplexed at how slow the girl was moving toward him. "Damn, girl," he said, "you've got to lose some pounds!" She was getting closer, but this was ridiculous. She was moving to slowly and uncontrollably for the demon to impale her properly. As a result, Alloexustio lunged at her.

PING!

He was hit by his own nail. Wounded by his own ability. In the mouth, no less! How had she managed to figure out a vulnerability? The demon wondered this as he yelled in agony. He began to splutter and cough, spitting out a muddy gray gel and nasty purple fluid that could only have been Alloexustio's blood.

If Alloexustio was angry before, he should now be irate. "That was a dirty trick," he said. Surprisingly, the demon seemed more like his feelings were hurt rather than angry. "You're no better than that cowardly bird I've been chasing around the multiverse." Here the hypocrisy of Chaos showed itself. Alloexustio had just used several equally dirty tricks to try and best his opponent, but became indignant when someone tried a similar thing on him.

"You'll pay for that one, girl," he said as he charged his right and left hands oppositely. He spit to the side and much of his oddly composed blood spurted onto the sand. "Trust me on that, girl, you will pay."

Alloexustio extended two hands and fired the charges in each in a steady flow, hoping to spin Tamae around relentlessly until she vomited her guts out. She was going to suffer before he finished her.

Alloexustio was lucky that Tamae couldn't hear his comments on her weight. If she could, the dinoinsectoid would probably have to bear another fire arrow in the face, in addition to the nail.

Tamae flinched somewhat as Alloexustio lunged, but fortunately for her his own nail cut that attack short. Smirking, she backed up a few steps as he coughed, sputtered, and spat out...muck, which she guessed was blood.

Her pride suddenly recovered very quickly upon seeing the spectacle. By playing his own abilities against him, she had actually managed to make the bug bleed. Just seeing her enemy in pain had done wonders for her pride, but seeing an enemy bleed was, to her, a great accomplishment. And especially making this one, who had seemed invincible all this time.

After that, he seemed annoyed, judging by his facial expression.

"What? Can't take a sneak attack?" she asked, getting all the happier.

After spitting out some more blood, the beast extended two of its hands and fired a pair of beams in her direction. Not knowing what he was trying to do, and not wanting to find out, Tamae promptly sidestepped out of their path, narrowly avoiding getting caught up in a whirlygig.

Alloexustio would be at a disadvantage for the rest of the fight, now that Tamae knew his weak point. Charging up her lightblade, she pointed it at him and fired a slim, pointed projectile of flames, with the target again being his mouth.

Alloexustio was rather shocked that Tamae was able to actually dodge an EM beam. As soon as she sidestepped, however, he simply turned it in her direction. Unfortunately, she had already attacked him at that point and the field instead caught the flames. They swirled around momentarily before becoming so disrupted, they simply dissipated.

Allowxustio ceased his streaming. He cocked his head to one side. "Where do you get your nerve, girl?" The demon extended all five arms in a fan shape. His outermost were 90 degrees from each other with Tamae's direction in the center. His second pair were at a more acute angle, and his center arm was pointed right at her. He squinted a moment, staggering the polarity of each hand.

North, South, North... South........... North!

"Let's see you escape this one, girly!" With that, Alloexustio shot magnetic waves from each hand. If she moved, she'd be caught in an endless twister. Should she stay planted, well, she'd simply be blown backward with concussive force. Either way, she would be wishing she'd never got into this fight.
