Kazumaru's characters (Kaz, the AI progs, et al)

Name: Kazumaru

Age: Mortal: 20 (or thereabouts) Spirit: 15 months.

Gender: Male

Species: Spirit

Description and Physiology: He's a lab-coat and top-hat wearing human. His hair is an odd shade of yellow, and his eyes are a clearly unnatural silver.

Physical Abilities: Stunning accuracy with snowballs, use of horrible puns.

Supernatural Abilities: He can shoot lightning out of his hands, generate EMP fields, and imbue objects and creatures (No plants!) with electricity-based powers.

Signature Moves/Attacks: Yelling "Hey look, a distraction!" then running away is a favourite of his.

Weaponry: On the off chance he fights, its almost always with his spirit abilities, though if he's near his lab, he'll usually attempt to grab something from there.

Equipment: Generally, he carries several protein-coated disks (PCDs) loaded with AI programs and various tweaks for them. He also carries a fork.

Home: Lab out on the plains.

Origin: Technically from Earth, though if you asked him, he'd respond with "The Allspark"

History: Little is known of his previous life, however rumor has it that he died after climbing into a wolf pen while drunk, attempting to ride a wolf, and getting mauled to death.

Before being absorbed into The Allspark, he was plucked out by Technico and made into a spirit.

Alignment: Goodish.

Personality: Lazy and uncaring, generally. Case in point, his unwillingness to help in The Labyrinth.

Known Weaknesses: Anyone who can put a coherent plan together has a strong advantage over Kazumaru. Kazumaru is addicted to brownies, as well... Though nothing tops his loyalty to his friends.

Allies: coolpikaaa, Embri, Sentinel, Jack, the rest of the AI progams from KAIN.

Characters he's friendly with: Embers. And pretty much anyone not actively trying to kill him.

Flag: He doesn't have a flag, per se, but the flag pole outside of his lab is painted black and has a proportional scythe blade with a proporitional brick impaled on it attached to it.

Name: Sentinel

Age: Unknown (Assumedly, less than Kazumaru's spirit age.)

Gender: Male

Species: Sentient AI

Description and Physiology: His drone is roughly twice the height of a pikachu, with a camera on top and a laser cannon on his side. He's probably toast in combat.

Physical Abilities: Guns. Lots of guns.

Signature Moves/Attacks: N/A

Weaponry: Guns. Lots of guns.

Home: Kazumaru's lab.

Origin: Built and programmed by Kazumaru.

History: Sentinel hasn't done very many important things in the Dojo, with the exception of fighting alongside the Filthy Rebel Scum in The Last Stand.

Alignment: Goodish.

Personality: Sentinel has been described as a "self-important robot ass", and for good reason. He habitually refers to any organic entity as "Meatbag" or, in some cases, "Furbag."

He spends a lot of his time mocking others. During the registry process, Sentinel wouldn't accept Kazumaru's answers as to the name of the lab. Thus, it is registered as "STOP MOCKING MY ANSWERS!"

Known Weaknesses: EMP. Being asked to "Divide by Zero"

Name: Jack

Age: Mere days, at the time of writing.

Gender: Male

Species: Sentient AI

Description and Physiology: Unlike Sentinel, he doesn't have any drones. However, he does have a face, which often pops up on monitors on coolpikaaa's spacestation. It's a jack-o-lantern, most days of the year, though it changes on holidays.

Physical Abilities: None.

Signature Moves/Attacks: N/A

Weaponry: None.

Home: The CSS

Origin: Built and programmed by Kazumaru.

History: Jack has done little other than sit back during major campaigns, often hampering his Commander's progress with his near-retarded level of intelligence.

Alignment: Goodish.

Personality: Jack is a bit nicer than Sentinel, prone to responding to statements with "Ah." He also has several pre-programmed responses to certain questions, which he hasn't yet learned to override. A good example is his statement upon meeting somebody. "I'd shake your hand, but you know, peanut arms."

He also seems to be eternally cheery and, to be frank, rather retarded.

Known Weaknesses: EMP. Physical damage. Divide by zero.

Name: Markus DeVane, better known as The Journalist.

Age: Somewhere in his 20s.

Gender: Male.

Species: Human.

Description and Physiology: Markus is blonde-haired, green-eyed, caucasian, and about 5'10.

Physical Abilities: His physical abilities are slightly above the average human's, due to constantly moving around Blackstar with a camera or two.

Supernatural Abilities: None.

Signature Moves/Attacks: None.

Weaponry: None.

Equipment: Digital still camera, digital video camera, eight-suited pack of cards, personal hygiene kit, backpack stuffed with camping supplies/coats/etc.

Home: None.

Origin: Stumbled through a space-time rift in Cardiff, Wales, Earth.

History: Stumbled into Blackstar by accident. That's pretty much all.

Alignment: Neutral.

Personality: He's a fairly enthusiastic individual, and small things like the risk of getting vaporised won't stop him from chasing stories. His inability to speak English (Although he can read and understand it perfectly) is a bit of a barrier, though, as is the fact that nobody in Blackstar seems to speak the four languages he does: Mandarin Chinese, French, Russian, and German.

Known Weaknesses: Just like any human, he's fairly easy to kill.

Age: Mere days, at the time of writing.

Gender: Male

Species: Sentient AI.

Description and Physiology: No physical form, however in KAIN he appears as a man in a hooded cloak, with a helmet that looks remarkably like a skull (Eyes glow blue, front bit of the skull can be pushed up, and the whole thing can be taken off by pulling on the bar beneath the skull.) Beneath the helmet is his face, which looks like (DESCRIPTION OF SUBJECT'S FACE)

Physical Abilities: None.

Supernatural Abilities: None.

Signature Moves/Attacks: None.

Weaponry: In KAIN, he weilds an ornate scythe.

Home: Broken Coast Labs.

Origin: Created by Kazumaru and installed in the Broken Coast Labs complex with Melissa.

History:

Alignment: Lawful Neutral.

Personality: Seems to be rather grim compared to his family. Given that his KAIN form is a personification of death, this shouldn't be terribly surprising.

Known Weaknesses: EMP, Divide By Zero, physical damage.

Allies: Jack, Sentinel, Melissa, Father/Kazumaru, the Broken Coast Pirates, and assumedly anyone who isn't actively trying to kill Father.

Description and Physiology: No physical form, however in KAIN she appears as a blonde woman in a white kosode, a black kimono and hakama, and a white obi sash.

Physical Abilities: None.

Supernatural Abilities: None.

Signature Moves/Attacks: None.

Weaponry: In KAIN, she wields a kampilan with a black handle.

Home: Broken Coast Labs.

Origin: Created by Kazumaru and installed in the Broken Coast Labs complex with Greg.

History:

Alignment: Lawful Neutral.

Personality: She seems to be a rather happy person, in contrast to her grim twin.

Known Weaknesses: EMP, Divide By Zero, physical damage.

Allies: Jack, Sentinel, Greg, Dad/Kazumaru, the Broken Coast Pirates, and assumedly anyone who isn't actively trying to kill Father.

Age: Mere days, at the time of writing.

Gender: One.

Species: Sentient Collective AI, housed in Kor'Vesa drones.

Description and Physiology: Six hovering circular drones with two guns hanging beneath the dome-shape, pointing away from the thrusters at the rear. On top, there is a strange antenna-like device.

Physical Abilities: Ramming speed!

Supernatural Abilities: None.

Signature Moves/Attacks: Omni-Shot. Essentially, they swarm around you and give you the swiss cheese treatment.

Weaponry: Each drone is armed with two pulse carbines.

Home: Kazumaru's Lab.

Origin: Created by Kazumaru and sent to get mauled.

History: BLAAAAANK.

Alignment: Lawful Neutral.

Personality: Devoid of emotion, cold, calculating, spock-like.

Known Weaknesses: EMP, Divide By Zero, physical damage.

Allies: Jack, Sentinel, Greg, Dad/Kazumaru, the Broken Coast Pirates, Melissa and assumedly anyone who isn't actively trying to kill The Parent.

Gender: Male

Species: Harman

Description and Physiology: Karlos stands at about five foot five, with light skin marked with a few scars.

Physical Abilities: Apparently trained in an esotreic mix of martial arts.

Signature Moves/Attacks: N/A

Weaponry: Shotgun.

Home: A Hard Place.

Origin: Well, when a man and a woman love eachother very much...

History: Founded A Hard Place.

Alignment: Goodish.

Personality: Karlos seems to be a fairly cheerful fellow, although he's not terribly concerned abut the safety or welfare of his workers.

Known Weaknesses: Normal harman weaknesses.

Allies: Margarita, Argos.

Age: Unknown, but he is fully grown.

Gender: Male

Species: Husky-blue wolf cross

Description and Physiology: Argos is rather large, even for a dog with his ancestry. Aside from that, his only remarkable feature is the blue fur covering him.

Physical Abilities: Biting.

Signature Moves/Attacks: N/A

Weaponry: Teeth and claws.

Home: A Hard Place.

Origin: Argos was a stray who liked to hang out near A Hard Place. Karlos eventually let him in for the night, and then couldn't bring himself to let Argos go back to being stray.

History:

Alignment: Goodish.

Personality: Argos is pretty nice, even by dog standards, and will only start growling at people he thinks are bad.

Known Weaknesses: Anything that'd kill an average dog will kill Argos.

Name: Aristomache (Last name unrevealed) AKA Aeris

Age: Late teens

Gender: Female

Species: Mutated Human

Description and Physiology: Aeris stands at five-nine. She has black hair and blue eyes. She appears to be a normal human for the most part, with the exception of an extra finger on her left hand, and several patches of hard, reddish skin on various parts of her body; A side effect of thirteen generations of inbreeding.

Physical Abilities: Biting, clawing, punching, etc.

Signature Moves/Attacks: N/A

Weaponry: Semi-auto rifle with a helical mag and a 6" bayonet.

Home: Broken Coast Labs

Origin: Aristomche was born into the Kult of Kazumaru, a bizarre clan who fanatically worship the Spirit of Electricity, Kazumaru.

History:

Alignment: Goodish.

Personality: Aeris is rather fanatically devoted to obeying Kazumaru. Aside from that, she seems to be pretty nice.

Known Weaknesses: Anything that'd kill an average human will kill Aeris.
