Blackfoot vs Lilic

Welcome one and all to this challenge issued by Lilic and accepted by Blackfoot

Setting: The Old churchyard.

Deep in the Black forest, surrounded by trees, lies the old churchyard. They church itself is a monolithic temple to Au'Marui: huge, obsene, and covered in stone gargoyles (the statues, not the creatures). Below is a graveyard, full of the unknown people of years past, now an overgrown - and mostly forgotten - reminder of what was.

Surrounding the old churchyard is the deepest darkest part of the Black Forest, home of creatures that normally exist only in your nightmares. It would be a good place to avoid, if you can.

In fact, the entire area would be a good place to avoid, in general. But Blackfoot had accepted the challenge, and was told to be here. And so we find our neighborhood Gargoyle , in human form, wondering around the graveyard, waiting for his opponent yet unknown.

He had never met this Lilic, or why she'd choose to fight him, but his Master had taught him to face all challenges head on, and that's how he intended to handle this one.

Lilic wandered to the old churchyard, she had been the one to issue the challenge after all. Most people called her crazy to challenge Blackfoot, but she hadn't listened, she was wanting a fight, and a tough one at that.

Lilic loved to fight, more of a sparring type person so as to not be killed but she still enjoyed the thrill, the excitement and most of all the need to fear for your life in some cases in the fight. She was excited as she spotted the gargoyle.

Lilic said nothing but she had come in her usual outfit of a blood red dress that flowed to her ankles wide enough to give her the need to move, her wings at the ready and her cloak over her body. the cloak and dress had spots for her wings to go through, that way she could still fly in the air if the need should arise.

As well as coming with her dress and cloak she also came with a pair of cyan spandex shorts to fit her form and to also keep any of the viewers, thought likely to be none, from seeing unwanted flashes of varient spots. Lilic's katana, as per usual, was to her left side so she could draw it with her right hand.

Blackfoot spotted the individual who must be Lilic almost immediately. She was kind of hard to not notice - all the better for him.

"You Lilic? Suppose we should get this spar started."

With that, Blackfoot starts to transform. Bones twist and muscles move as his skin hardens. When he finishes, he "stands" in front of Lilic on all fours in his Gargoyle form.

Not daring waste a second, he immediately springs up, bringing down both front paws in a downward slash.

Lilic grinned at him. "Aye." She had said, as she narrowed her eyes when he had transformed getting into a defensive posstion keeping lower to the ground to make it harder to harm her as she ducked and rolled the minute he had made the first move. "Good shot." She told him, as she felt a chunk of her hair get cut. Lilic had not been expecting a gargoyle, and definitely not a fast one at that.

Lilic got up as she looked to Blackfoot. "And you must be Blackfoot if you have come here and are fighting me, sir." She said nodding her head as she put her arms infront of her face. She knew better than to start off with anything too fancy. She made a point to watch his movements during the whole time that she spoke and even moved.

"Yeah, and this is a really, REALLY bad time. But my Master always stressed the point of meeting all challenges."

He circled around here, so that he was facing the Church building, the started to slowly advance, watching her for even the slightest movement suggesting Lilic's next move.

"He also said this was like a game of chess. So what's the next move" He taunted, still slowly advancing.

((Oh, not a problem DP. I've been havin' log in trouble at my house and I have not the slightest clue why. It works on the school computers but not at my home computer...Soooo....I could be slower to respond, plus the fact that I got my x-box, lol.))


Lilic backed up slightly watching him as she countered his motions he made moving in the opposite way than him. She was being careful with what she did and how she moved, each time he went forward a bit she would move back a little bit to keep the same distance from the start.

"It really is like a game of chess. You need to know how your enemy moves and then you need to make an unexpected counter towards them. Simple, yet difficult at the same time." Lilic grinned at him while speaking, she enjoyed this much more than she had first put on.

"So, what sort of stuff do you enjoy, if you don't mine my asking, Blackfoot-sama?" Lilic curiously asked as a way to strike up converstation during the match, as well as learn more about him and, hopefully, be able to predict his moves.
