Type: Evolved Snakes

Place Of Origin: Tezcan homeworld, second planet orbiting a dying sun

Natural Abilities: Withstand high temperatures due to their cold-blooded heritage, spit poison from hinged fangs in their jaws. Show emotions through colour changes of their skin, and 'taste' smells with their tongue and an organ located in the top of their mouth

Diseases Prone To: Any kind of respiratory disease, as like snakes they only possess one working lung

Technological Status: Advanced

Unique Attributes: Hinged fangs and hidden venom sacs, four arms one pair under the other

Diet: Carnivorous, they never eat fruit or vegetables as it would make them sick

Description: Tezca are like, well, snakes. They have no legs, the end half of their body is used just like a snakes, and is very muscular in order to do this. The front half of their body is 'reared' up most of the time, and their heads are just like a snakes, but larger (obviously ). Their eye colour varies from green, yellow and red. Eyes are slitted, and have no pupils, as they are protected via a large transparent scale. They have four long, sinewy arms attached to the front part of their bodies, the first pair where human shoulders would be and the second underneath. Their scales are generally a grey-green colour, however their scales can change colour with their mood or during mating season

Species: Krkrln

Type: Evolved Plants

Place of Origin: Krkrln and 'Utopian' homeworld

Natural Abilities: Burrowing through soil (they cannot burrow through rock), communication and colapsing tunnels through vibrations in the ground, and the ability to control endorphines in their 'victims' either by increasing or absorbing them. Absorbing endorphines while their stingers do their work creates 'hyper-pain', while increasing them creates a state of euphoria.

Diseases Prone To: Fungal infections, due to being closely related to plants

Technological Status: Advanced

Unique Attributes: Sinewy tentacles with jellyfish like stingers on the end, used to manipulate endorphines and cause hyper-pain. These also proliferate the length of their tendrils, some growing large enough to be considered thorns. They can retract and bring these out at will.They also have no visible mouth, communicating via clicks and rustles above ground, and via vibrations below it

Diet: Neither carnivorous, insectivorous or herbivorous, Krkrln get their nutrients from soil or water via absorbing them through their skin. Humans in a state of hyper-pain produce a certain nutrient found on their home planet which is not found on Earth soil

Description: Krkrln are very closely related to plants, though they look like a sort of cross between a vine plant and a jellyfish. Very vaguely humanoid, they have a head with two huge insect like eyes which are always black, and their skin is a murky dark green. They possess no nose or mouth, and they have many long, sinewy tentacles that make up the most of their body, extending from the base of their neck. The sinewy tentacles have jellyfish like stingers on the end of each one, and are the part of the body used for absorption. Their vine limbs also have stings and thorns hidden under their skin. They carry an organic translator around with them, attached to their 'necks' as only the Utopians understand their native language.

Males and females seem exactly the same to other species except during mating season. During this, females burst into bloom with brightly coloured flowers, and males develop growths that look disturbingly like huge boils. When the growth matures, the male can control when he wants his spores to be released. Once released the growths burst rather disgustingly and a powder like substance is sent into air. When females flowers are fertilised, they drop off and are deposited in a nursery where they are brought up. Parents have no contact with their children afterwards.

Current events on the homeworld have split the two species, Krkrln and Utopian, apart. They never got on very well in the first place, Krkrln being hunted and consumed by rebellious Utopians to make them evolve. This has escalated over time into a full scale war between the two species, and resulted in many banishments on the homeworld.

Recent evidence however, has uncovered that Krkrln may have once hunted the Utopians for a similar purpose...

A little bit of random information:

Krkrln have no skeletal structure or internal organs, bar the one that passes for their 'brain'.

Krkrln 'blood' is a green, sticky sap like substance.

Calling a Krkrln 'Weedrot' is a highly offensive insult, since it does not just insult the individual, but their entire species.

'Green fungus' is a more well used and slightly less insulting term.

Species: E-Maginians

Type: Evolved Reptilians

Place of Origin: E-Mageen, third planet of a binary system. Also has four moons.

Natural Abilities: E-Maginians can withstand high temperatures, see in overly bright light and only need to sleep for a few hours each day. They have an excellent sense of smell, especially around desert areas. It's also thought they possess latent psychic abilities.

Diseases Prone to: Colds and influenza, but most everything else their immune system can handle.

Technological Status: Advanced

Unique Attributes: E-Maginians have two apparently useless antennae atop their heads, straight for the females and bent for the males. They have a thumb-claw rather than an actual thumb, an extremely strong tail with both spikes and a tail club attached to it, and a strong shell encases their bodies that has downcurved spikes on the back of it.

Diet: Carnivorous, particularly fond of crab-scorpion meat if they can remove the poison tail first.

Description: E-Maginian females are seven foot tall whilst males are around six, both have lipless mouths full of pointed teeth, two of the top ones slightly sticking out of their mouths. E-Maginians are covered in green scales that don't change colour, and barely vary in shade. The antennae extend from the tops of their yellow, slitted eyes are either perfectly straight for females, or bent out at the middle for males. The males foreheads also sport conspicuous raised scales. Their ears are highly visible as not only are they large, they are also sharply pointed towards the top, and set on the edges of their heads. They have two large slits for nostrils rather than an actual nose, the area on their faces being only slightly raised. E-Maginians possess only one set of arms, with four fingers and a thumb claw, and the ends of their fingers, as with their three toed feet possessed much smaller claws. The E-Maginians body is encased in a shell, on the back of which are many curved spikes pointing towards the ground. They also have a tail, which has three pairs of spikes growing progressively smaller until they reach the tip, where a bone club could be found.

Both males and females of the species wear clothing of a robe of dyed skin, that only covers their nether regions and half of their legs. Everything else is exposed to the elements.

Species: Kinntrra

Type: Evolved flying mammalians

Place of Origin: E-Mageen

Natural Abilities: Kinntrra can fly and have an excellent visual range, especially in bright light. They also have a good sense of smell and have suckers on the palms of their hands and soles of their feet. They also have a good ability to withstand high temperatures, though not as high as the reptilian species do.

Technological Status: Advanced

Unique Attributes: Kinntrra are renowned for being altruistic, and are excellent healers. They work with plants and nature rather than synthetic methods, often getting better results.

Diet: Kinntrra are omnivorous

Description: Kinntrra are covered from head to foot in brown fur, their heads growing darker and slightly longer hair. They also have an almost dragon shaped head. Their eyes are quite large and are orange with round pupils. Their hands have no fingers on them, although there is a split for the thumb as Kinntrra use the suckers on their palms to grip things rather than digits. On the ends of each foot there is a single, large claw, and their short tufted tails extend out beyond woven material they wear through a slit. The tail tuft is blue for males and brown for females. They have a pair of wings that extend outwards from their back as well, allowing them to fly and attesting to their ancestors’ original mode of transport.

Species: Oktaluns

Type: Evolved Cephalopods

Place of Origin: Kajj, first ocean planet orbiting a single star

Natural Abilities: Oktaluns are amphibious, as they can breathe and move both under or above water. They also have eight entirely prehensile tentacles with suckers underneath, and have excellent sight in dark or murky light.

Technological Status: Advanced

Unique Attributes: Oktaluns have four tentacles where their front and back 'shoulders' are that serve as arms, and four below that serve as legs.

Diet: Omnivorous, though they prefer seafood.

Description: Oktaluns have four tentacles that serve as legs, whils the other four are arms. Oktaluns have huge, round, yellow eyes with round black pupils that can dilate or contract to extremes. They have a yellow beak in place of a mouth, and have varying colours of skin. All Oktaluns have darker coloured markings above their shoulders, most often a pair of circles, though this too varies. Oktaluns wear no clothes.

Species: Tiermutians

Type: Evolved flying Reptilians

Place of Origin: Planet Myut, destroyed.

Natural Abilities: Flight, tough leathery skin.

Diseases Prone to: Infertility

Technological Status: Advanced

Unique Attributes: Tiermutians have small pointy ears, and are quite strong for their looks. Occasionally one will develop the 'Fever' ability, they use through breathing on the victim. It makes the victim feel like they're on fire and generally cause chaos until they kill themselves through trying to make it stop. Victims will get bright red skin soon after being affected. It is not contagious, fortunately.

There's also a myth that once, Tiermutians were able to harness their ancestors energy, even change into them. This has been lost or hidden.

Diet: Carnivorous

Description: Tiermutians are between five and six feet tall, and the most humanoid of all the Consortium races. Their build is very human-like, though the females lack mammary glands. Tiermutians have green scales that vary in shade, and hair on their heads that is a darker shade of green. They have slit eyes that vary in colour from yellow, green, blue and red. Their mouths and the bottom half of their face juts out slightly, with nostrils just at the top of the bulge. Their mouth have dark green lips and both a bottom and top pair of fangs that appear over the lips. They have a draconic pair of wings attached to their backs, and their fingers and toes have small retractable claws. Their tail is long, narrow and prehensile, and they wear both upper and lower clothes.

Species: T'Larans

Type: Dense Organics

Place of Origin: L'Shal, moon orbiting a gas giant.

Natural Abilities: T'Larans can see in extremely poor light due to their highly developed eyesight, and can punch holes through steel due to the density of their body structure.

Diseases Prone to: Degeneration

Technological Status: Advanced (only recently become truly spacefaring)

Unique Attributes: T'Larans have huge eyes that literally take up the top half of their head, so often covered with goggles that no-one knows all the colours they could be. Their hands and feet also have no claws or nails.

Diet: Omnivorous

Description: T'Larans are bipedal, and humanoid in their arrangement of limbs. They will only ever grow to four foot tall, and their head has two large, bulbous eyes taking up the top halves of their heads. Their skin is a pale orange colour, it looks very rough but not exactly scaly. They are also extremely wiry creatures, their arms, legs and body make them look thin and frail. T'Larans have small pinholes for their ears and noses, whilst their lipless mouths are full of blunt teeth. T'Larans also wear clothes, often in bizarre arrangements of colours.

Species: Reniilians

Type: Evolved Mineral

Place of Origin: Lieren, third moon of a metallic planet

Natural Abilities: Reniilians can fly in low gravities and glide in normal to higher ones, and their toes are prehensile. They also have a slight resistance to radiation.

Diseases Prone to: Unknown

Technological Status: Advanced (same state as the T'Larans)

Unique Attributes: Reniilians have beaks attached to their heads in such a way you can't tell where it ends and the head begins, their wings also make them look hunchbacked when they're folded above their shoulders. They're covered in feathery looking 'threads', far larger and more noticeable on their wings. Nictitating membranes also protect their pupilless eyes.

Diet: Anything. No, literally, Reniilians will even eat brick if they feel like it.

Description: Their skins colour varies, usually sandy or grey coloured, but it always has a purplish hue to it. They have a pair of wings on their backs that give them hunched appearances when folded and are composed of the larger 'threads' that cover their entire body. Their eyes are often oddly coloured, dull purple being the most common, and are pupilless ovals protected by nictitating membranes as well as eyelids. Their heads have disproportionately large beaks with quite prominent nostrils, making them look untrustworthy to some. Reniilians have no tails, but they do have a single pair of arms and legs. These are neither wiry nor bulky, and if it wasn't for their mineral heritage may have been considered sinuous. Reniilians have two clawlike fingers and one thumb, the same goes for their three toes.
