((Wait! Lets not start yelling at one another, and please, lets not jump to conclusions. I'm sorry I've started an argument at all. It wasn't my intention. My intention was to discover what the Job Board Store was all about, and find out why it wasn't working. I do have things I might be able to do to help out around here, and as I've decided to join the community I feel sort of obligated to help out anywhere I can.

I asked about a listing of who does what because I see that as something that could be useful for noobs to the board. I do know that I had about a hundred questions about who did what, and how things worked when I first started poking my nose around. I wore DP and Danikat out the day I logged in the first time! (Much thanks to those two by the way. ) Anyway, since then, my goal is to help out with explanations and pointing people in the right directions for... well... directions.

Communities grow best when they offer a comfortable environment in which to learn how to integrate into the existing population, and when people are kind and encourage everyone new to enjoy themselves. My understanding was that this was an environs for teaching everyone the art of role play. In that vein, as a community everyone should be willing to fill positions that have not been filled. Offer aid to the noobs, and be kind, inviting, and helpful. In other words, anyone here should be willing to do more than play, they should be willing to teach as well. I am willing to do that, and that's why I wanted to know about the Job Board Store.

As for Cirrial and the bomb medal, Cirrial was commissioned by DP himself to make that particular medal. I know that for a fact. DP told me himself. As for whether Cirrial overstepped by giving them out, well maybe he misunderstood what DP wanted? I think I'm not overstepping my bounds by saying that my feeling while talking to DP was that he was proud of the fact that Cirrial offered to help fill a hole (A rather deep one to my mind) that was left by the great Lady Embri when she left this place.

My point here is two-fold 1.) There is a lot around here that Lady Embri did, that now needs doing, and it would be best for the community if a few capable persons with even a small bit of time on their hands would step up and take responsibility for even one of those things; and 2.) To chastize a few of you who have been thinking that this board runs itself. As a board administrator myself I can tell you that it flat DOESN'T! If you like this place at all, you might want to step up and take some responsibility!

As further food for thought, have any of you had the slightest bit of wonder in your mind as to why Au'Mauri may have died, and the world of Psychotopia is now falling apart? HUH? Did ya?

[edit] *Takes a deep breath.* I apologize both for the fact that this is not the place for my rant, and also for the fact that I was so in your face about it. However, I feel my points are valid and so I shall let them stand until a mod decides they shouldn't. In which case I will accept my spot in the halls of shame with pride should this be deemed spam.

I did it because it's been several months since we had a medal worthy thread that I wanted to celebrate. And Cirrial was kind enough to offer up the graphics.
