|
|
They appeared, fizzling slowly into existance in the Immortal Realm. They had never been here before, although in a way they had always been here. Immortals were alive, just as mortals were and wherever there was life there was The Olvari.
Once they had formed they looked around themselves. No one seemed to have noticed them, hardly suprising since even in physical form they were invisible. The three moved forward together until they reached the approximate centre of the Immortal Realm. They sensed life, other Gods and spirits, around them but they had already concluded that now was not the time to be subtle, to act through others. Now there was a problem, and that problem had to be solved.
They spoke, Three voices for one mind, all speaking in unison. "Immortals of the Dojo! Your world dissapears beneath you! By your own hand you have doomed this planet and all who live upon it to be drawn into the Void and destroyed. What right have you to destory the creation of another? Nay, many others, for many have contributed to this world and many guide it's progress. What right have you to take away all that they, mortal and immortal alike, have created?
Who will answer for this traversty, this needless and senseless destruction of so much?
Who among you will come forward to justify your actions?"
They wait.

((For all intents and purposes, although these may not seem connected, and I'm not going to reveal in any way HOW any of this connected until the proper time, I'm assuming this is pre-founding Power Apathy Party. So any PAP participants (however few have access here), it doesn't exist yet.))
---
Locked inside his Tower, Giegue listens, a shadow of a vapour of a presence. A blurry, vaguely human figure shimmers into existance, a spectrum of grey.
~I chose to not assist. It is a foolish act to die and not a mistake that I intend to make. It is destruction the one of insanity has wreaked upon himself and his world. I live, as does my Tower.~
Yes. The Tower lived, but not as it once was. The rain never stopped, and the Tower, the invincible Tower, was decaying. The skies flashed with white, but not the white of storms and thunder crashes. The white of a strange void. Not the void of a world dying, but almost like... the void of a world falling into chaos or disrepair. The infinite plane of grass was jagged and blackened by the sour air.
~You may try and convince me otherwise. Perhaps there is still a part of me which emotion appeals to.~ The mental voice is accompanied by a rising sensation of cynicism and sarcasm, as the vague figure becomes blurrier and almost vanishes. _________________ This is a signature that states a new signature shall be coming at some point in the future. "Is that it? Is that the only answer we shall get? Indifference from a God who hides from his own sphere of influence, scared of his own power?"
One of the three, or prehaps all of them it was hard to tell with invisible beings, stomped a hoof.

The one heard it.
He contemplated sending an emissary to answer it, perhaps not answer at all.
But no. Any answer is best in person.
He only had to stand up from his throne, stand from watching his subjects, and immediately he was in front of the invisible trio, leaning on his signature staff.
You see, this staff is unremarkable from a distance, but interesting up close. It has the head of a fox, holding a misty silver orb, carved into the handle, with a icy blue orb in one eye and a blood red orb in the other.
"Those who created that realm were of malevolent intent, as was the realm itself. The destruction of its master caused that realm to perish, beyond our own abilities to force it otherwise. Perhaps there was some genuine benevolence, hidden in the depths of the Dojo, and we hope that they may live on in other worlds. But as it is, it was above our powers to save them." _________________ To fight against me is a foolish path,

"Malevolent intent, benevolence, we care not for such things. All that matters is that they live and should continue to live as long as they are able. You have presented them with a test no mortal can overcome unaided and left most with no means of escape. This is not right and we demand that it be undone.
It is within the power of this pantheon to fix their mistake and fix it they must, or suffer the consequences." _________________ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve ~ Sir Walter Scott
