Pilelia vs. Elisah

((Wow, sorry for the exceedingly delayed response TBS - as you're no doubt aware I've been busy with the Assault on the Citadel. Lucky we didn't go for a time limit for this thing, huh? ))

Thus far, it seemed that her opponent was unable to harm her. "I'm sorry if it's assuming a bit too much," the overly shy Pilelia began. "But it seems that you're unable to hurt me. Even though it's still very early in the match, it's okay if you want to forfeit. There's no shame in knowing your limitations."

As she said this, he skin began to crystallize once more, turning back into the hardened diamond-like substance that it had been earlier. It was not a smooth coating though, the crystallization process was meant to allow her flexibility as well as defensive strength, and so it covered her body in tiny hardened platelets, each of which seemed quite sharp, almost like barbs. Her arms thinned themselves out until they were more like long, flat blades than anything, and she seemed ready to go on the offensive this time. "If you don't want to do that though, then I guess I'd better finish this quickly. I wouldn't want to be a disgrace to the Saviour."

((Not to say that this fight is boring or anything like that, but as Pilelia's said, you don't seem to have any way of harming her, so I'm giving you the opportunity to step out if you'd like it.))

((I might as well step out. I have a new char that I'm itching to try out, and I promised myself I wouldn't issue another challenge until this fight ended.))

Elisah took in Pilelia's words, and thought about something. She turned away for a few seconds.

"Fine. We're stopping the fight," she grumbled, wishing that she had known what kind of creature she was facing and chose an arena that would give her an advantage over it, instead of automatically assuming that she was facing a solid beast and going with this place.

Shoving her sword into its sheath, she walked away without so much as a "good-bye," obviously very miffed that her first fight in the challenge arena ended in her losing.

((Out of curiousity, are there ANY fights like this that you've lost? ))

((Hm, not like this, no. I have been beaten before though, like the time that Kat kicked my ass to get herself a green Mantis belt.

Pilelia breathed a sigh of relief and reverted back to her normal gelatinous state. Some folk in her situation might've been disappointed that they didn't get to display their full power, but she was just pleased that the fight hadn't gotten too dangerous for her.

The crowd seems disappointed, but to Pilelia a victory is a victory, and she leaves the arena feeling that the better warrior won this match.
