There was something unnatural around. Fractals began to form in the air around E, invisible to the eye, the particles shifting in the air according to complex, recursive formulas.

It was unnatural, and therefore it was illogical. It made E nervous. Nearby his ear, a hydrogen atom formed as the oxygen atoms that were bonded to it broke away. The three atoms began to dance around each other, spacing themselves out along a line, the gap between them the sum of the distances of the previous two gaps.

E was only vaguely aware of these changes. He didn't particularly care; they simply happened around him. It was only logical that he should choose to ignore them. They gave him a certain amount of comfort, though, especially when something was not right. He was the god of logic, and the intricate shapes and forms he caused in the air around him reminded him of this fact.

"Show your form," he called, expelling a Möbius strip of air as he spoke. "Your true form, not some illusion."

((I just realized how incredibly easy it would be for E to beat Noten, I guess I'd better stay on his good side Razz.))

"If I could appear in my truest form I would not exist. You'll have to make do with the illusion."

Noten appeared, his blank mask gazing at E with a slight fascination. Evidently there was a flaw in his invisibility here, as this one had spotted him, and it might be interesting to learn why.

"Noten, God of Nothing." He said, looking at E's rather bizarre form. To Noten, his minimalistic form was quite appealing, and Noten wondered why he'd chosen something so complicated by comparison. Oh, that's right, he didn't have a physical form, and since he needed one to get here he'd based his off of various features of his disciples.

His head turned slightly as he tried to figure out what E had done to find him. Unable to, he decided to take the most direct approach and ask him. "You are the first to have seen me here, so I'm quite curious to know how you did it - I should have appeared as my element, nothing, to the eyes of all, and yet you noticed me quite quickly."

"I am E infero, veritas, the God of Logic," he said, tipping his head forwards slightly before bringing it back in one fluid motion. "We are similar. Nothing is vital to Logic, and Nothing cannot exist without Logic to prove it is there." A Mandelbrot set curled out of his left ear. "You are here because logic dictates you must exist, and yet, nothing describes the lack of any existence. That is why I noticed you -- you are a logical paradox."

E took a step towards the other God. He couldn't actually see him, but he could perceive him and his presence. His mind processed it as though there was someone there, standing a few feet away from him, but his eyes did not detect him. It was curious, but not unsettling. Not as unsettling as the fact that Noten was a paradox.

"I... see." Noten replied, quite confused with what E infero, veritas had just told him. Noten had never met this God before, but he was implying that they shared some sort of intrinsic natures or something. Were all Gods this bizarre?

The one thing that he did understand was that E had spotted him because 'nothing' fell into his own element of control, 'logic'. It was a little irritating to realize that his powers, which he'd previously believed to be unbeatable, would not be effective against all Gods, but Noten felt confident that not all of his abilities would be proven useless.

Thinking of other Gods, Noten remembered that he was here to learn. "I am not well acquainted with the Immortal Realm as of yet, do you know much of it, E infero, veritas?"

((Hey, 3kul, I'm gunna post less in this. I'm involved in several role plays, and I've got to oversee the GvEC conflict in addition to school. I'll still post, it just might be a while.))

"No," E said simply, staring towards Noten. He paused, blinking only once. Just when it seemed like he wasn't going to say anything else, a particularly beautiful fractal emerged from his nose, and he explained: "I only recently ascended to the palace of the immortals -- and before that I wasn't particularly familiar with the Dojo."

((That's fine Abidusray, this isn't exactly a major roleplay anyway - we're the only ones RPing atm Razz))

"I see." Noten replied, feeling slightly uncomfortable with the strange things coming off of E's body. Perhaps it was because he was more used to being around nothing, his element, or perhaps it was simply because he still wasn't used to the kind of aura that Gods gave off. "I am quite similar - I have been here once or twice before, secretly, and currently have my temple in the Blackstar Dojo. I'm not sure why but that seems to be quite the popular place."

It was quite odd, to hear of so many Gods and Goddesses from the one realm. Well, it probably wasn't that many, but after spending so many countless years hidden away in his own realm Noten was under the impression that he was the only God. When he'd learnt of others from Liyao, she'd only taught him about those she knew of, all of whom lived in the Dojo. Au'marui... Paranesia... Come to think of it, perhaps this God knew of them?

"Do you know anything of the others dwelling in the Blackstar Dojo? Au'marui, God of Insanity, or Paranesia, Goddess of Illusions?" These were the only other immortals that he knew, so perhaps if he could find one of them then they could tell he and E infero, veritas more about this place.

"No," sighed E, a wispy fractal cascading down his chin, tendrils stretching out in front of him like an octopus probing the water. "I know nothing of other gods. My realm is that of all that is logical -- and from logic stems the truth."

"Illusions are lies: illogical fallacies that can be destroyed through simple logic," he explained, and a series of nitrogen molecules aligned themselves along an Archimedes spiral. His voice was calm, unwavering, but not monotonous.

"Insanity is simply randomized logic: actions stemming from previous experiences." He paused here, staring intently at the spot Noten occupied. "Out of logic, truth -- E infero, veritas."

((Oops, sorry for taking so long to post this time Abidusray.))

"I know those in name only, truth be told I do not know any others either." Noten replied, thinking how this made them both relatively useless to each other. Although it was interesting to hear how E infero, veritas spoke of the other Gods. From the sounds of things, some Gods were more compatible with each other than others, and perhaps more inclined to be friendly (or unfriendly) towards each other because of this.

Noten rippled slightly, several long strands of hair reaching out and consuming the Archimedes spiral. Noten could not figure out how best to express it, but these things emanating from E infero, veritas made him uncomfortable, and obliterating them seemed to ease that discomfort. He wondered if the other God would perceive this as an insult, though he was sure that he'd say so if he did.

"If we can't find a guide, perhaps we'd be better off exploring the Immortal Realm by ourselves then?" Standing around talking didn't seem to be answering too many of their questions.

((It would be great if somebody could let us know a little more about the Immortal Realm, like where things are and such, if that's at all possible please Smile))
