Does the Blackstar Foundation count as a user enough to have its name put down with the "latest post" (e.g. on the forum index)? It'd be a simple change of a query to remove it from these, and I think it would be useful.

...Having said that, I'm for the notion of taking him off the last post mathingy. It does get a bit distracting sometimes.

Actually, I do actually log into the foundation every now and again, especially if I want to pay someone for their services, and occasionally I will make a post with it - so we don't need to be to quick to judge him - um - me - um - someone.

Ah, the identity crises that come with the use of more than one account. 
I remember one time, an online game somewhere, I can't even remember where, but someone had about ten accounts at once and was splitting their speech up for each account. Confused the hell out of everyone including the person doing it. Fun times. 
Also, I now vote for "undecided" instead of "revoke rights".

Ditto. Every time I see the ol' BF posting I know that somebody's just used an item, it's really no big deal.

Actually you wouldn't even know that an item had been used until you went into that thread.
I don't see any reason to change the situation. Admittedly I hardly ever look at the 'who posted last' thing and when I do its just because I happened to glance at it, it doesn't mean anything to me.
But I can't see that having the Blackstar Foundation show up on the list is a problem. Is it stopping people from reading threads they would otherwise look at?
Is it wasting a significant amount of time by attracting people to threads they wouldn't otherwise read?
Do you really need to know two seconds ahead of time who last posted in a thread you're about to read anyway?
Do you need to know at all if you're not reading the thread?
Unless the answer to one of those is yes for a significant number of people I can't imagine why it matters.
