Guardians come out to play-ay!

As far as I can see your leaders seem fairly unanimous on the topic, Guardians. Goron was the first to accept our challenge and even made a thread for it, and then GBE recently showed up and accepted out challenge as well. I can't imagine that you have too many more leaders to wait for Razz

Alright Guardians, due to the fact that after several months now we have still been unable to gain any indication of a starting date for this war we're feeling that it's a waste of time to pursue it any longer. Yes, you finally got around to accepting our challenge but now it seems that we're indefinitely waiting for you to be prepared, which is not what we had in mind when we first issued this challenge.

Should you ever feel in a state of readiness you are welcome to challenge us, but until that time consider this challenge nullified.

3kul, you told me to just take over the lead, but I didn't think I could just do that. So I posted a "time to respond" post in our guardian forums. The leaders didn't respond in time for me either, so today I came to cut and paste the original thread beginning into a new unlocked thread to start the challenge match, and .....WOW, its gone.

There are several of us who would do such a RP, but you have to admit, that without our leaders it would be a bit of a mis-match. The EC is the oldest and most experienced group in the community, and we have a mix of new and old, and we are few in number.

So, what now? Is it just over?

And actualy, the fight thread has alreay been unlocked, and I was the only person who noticed. I guess I should have pointed that out earlier, but I thought everyone would notice. We wouldn't mind if you went ahead and started, we just didn't want to look stupid by starting the fight right after declaring our challenge withdrawn.

It's over for us in the sense that we'll have more time to spend plotting the general public's doom (rather than specifically focusing our doom-plotting on you Guardians). For you guys though, you can challenge us whenever you feel up to it.

Essentially it'll be the same as this thread's been for the past few months, except that we won't look like we're being stood up and you won't have to keep making excuses.

Shine, I told you to think about that (in a secret PM! Don't expose my secret plans like this!) because of said leadership problems. The Guardians are currently locked in a limbo-esque state - you don't have any active leaders and without them around you can't fairly choose a new leader.

Of course, the obvious solution would be to usurp the throne and blame all of the group's problems on your predecessor, but I guess that's not for everybody. Razz

Wait, what? You lost interest? I find my lack of activity on the site disturbing. I have no idea what's going on.

I simply came back in response to GBE requesting that I partake in a role play against the EC.

My bad, dude. I'm gonna go back to my comatose state now. If anyone needs me, I'll be over there. *points to a nearby bar*

Well, if you want to do it now then I guess it's not such a bad thing. This whole thing's left a more than a few Council members with an overwhelming desire to take out a bit of anger on the Guardians Wink

3kul, It wasn't "days after" you posted your lack of interest in waiting, it was the SAME day, and we were set to go, I was waiting for the leaders, I waited the weekend, and then we began without them, and furtunately one of them showed up right away.

So, lets get on with it, but not with anger, lets do some of the best writing and roleplaying this site can produce, it should be the best two groups, this should be a fun one even just to read along.

Lets put the past behind us and have some fun.
