Okay, so basically this thread is for bragging about the last PokÃ©mon you caught. Or maybe you got something awesome in a trade, I don't know. What's your newest PokÃ©mon?

I have just this very minute caught Regigigas. Now I am pleased to say that I will never have to touch Ruby again, after catching the Regis therein and naming them after The Three Stooges.

I recently decided I'd try to expand my pokedex a little more and since I had the right games I figured I'd go for the new Magmar evolution. I spent at least an hour or two trying to catch a Magby, then gave up (I looked it up, apparently there's about an 8% chance of running into one), so I then started playing emerald to spend another hour or so trying to catch a Magmar and eventually managed to catch one (I later found out that Magmar had similar odds of appearing...). Then I had to catch a ditto, breed them, hatch a Magby, and trade it across to Pearl. Another hour or so as the Magby egg takes forever to hatch and I get bored with it too easily.

After doing all that, wouldn't you know it, the first pokemon I then run into is a Magby -_-...

On the plus side though, this one had a Magmarizer, which is what you need to get the new Magmar evolution Very Happy

Aaaand, now I have Rotom as well. Easiest legendary ever Razz

I actually thought otherwise until Embri straightened me out...

Anyway,I am currently trying to evolve the magikarp I caught at the start of my game...

My newest brag?

One word: Manaphy. Didn't even have to trade over from Ranger for it. Toys'R'Us held a special hand out event....and I just happened to be in the area with my little brother...so he got a toy, and I got a lvl 50 Manaphy - the first non-ranger legit one!

Theres a lot of Pokemon that are only avaliable once but aren't legendary.

In Red/Blue there was only one Lapras and I think most the games only have one Eevee unless you breed more.

Yeah, but unlike Eevee and Lapras you do have to actually capture Rotom, and if you knock it out you can't get it again.

Doesn't quite count as capturing, but I recently evolved myself a Lickilicky, a Magnezone and a Mamoswine.

Apparently today's swarm is Zigzagoon, so I guess I might go get me some of those later on.

My latest catch is 24 Unowns.

Seemed like a great idea at the time. "Oh, while I'm here I'll just hang around and catch them all in one go". I forgot how tedious it was walking round and round and round hoping for the one specific pokemon you need.

I've got K and X left to find and then I can get into the special section to get ! and ? And then I don't have to deal with them any more.

Palkia. Finally.

I had to go through that battle with the Team Galactic (who I keep wanting to call Team Rocket) boss about 5 times because I hadn't exactly planned this well and I only had 2 revives so I couldn't let him knock out too much of my team.

Sorry to double post but I wanted to tell someone about this, even if no one will believe me.

I recently caught Uxie and Azelf, and Uxie was possibly the most perfect capture battle I've ever had. Ever.

I started with Golduck, used Surf once and got it down to 1 or 2 HP, and then threw one Ultra Ball and caught it!
The one attack Uxie made in between the two missed so Golduck didn't even get hurt!
