1. Docking Bay.
This spherical area in the middle of the CSS is where all ships, big or small, come to be fueled up, or land in the station. A panel at the top slides down when a shuttle lands on it, gliding straight down and letting the ship down towards the floor. Because of the way the ship creates gravity (spinning at a certain speed), there is no force holding you down in the docking bay. However to counter this problem, magnetic clamps have been built on the floor, which attach to the underside of a ship and keep it in place.

2. Cargo Bay
The cargo bay, only a short pod ride from the docking bay, is where the stations stores of food, materials, tradable goods and spare parts are held. It also houses a multitude of Borg devices of which have not yet been tested.

3. The Hydroponics bay.

The Hydroponics bay is a large section of the ship created for observing the various ways plants work in space. Multiple hybrids and experimented on blooms make this area their home. Also studies into plants that are not native to Blackstar are conducted. Also, a small part of the room is the CSS's own "pocket forest" where the studied on flowers and trees produce a lot of the station's oxygen and a percentage of its food. Near the middle of the forest is a large air vent that is used to spread the air around the station.

4. The Bridge

"The bridge" is where most of the ship functions are programmed and the basic controls are used. This area is usually off limits to crew members other than commanding officers.
