[Kazumaru]

The Spirit of Electricity took the card and, after a quick look at it, stuffed it in one of the lab coat's many pockets.
"I'm Kazumaru. Used furniture salesman and spirit of electricity. Personally, I think it'd be in both of our interests to work together..." he said, walking up the rather makeshift platform between the Rocinante and the shore. "Anyone who still wants to get on..." he said, stepping onto the deck. "Jump."

With that, he hit a switch that cause the bridge to retract in a manner that seemed to defy the basic laws of physics. He strode over to the railing nearest Liyao's ship to hear her response.

Shavo wished he were on the other ship. Or submarine, whatever it was called. It didn't look like he would be getting off though. He also doubted he would be granted access.
Should have brought my own ship. He sighed. Things weren't going to be getting easier were they? He brushed his hand against his pogo stick. At least he had one ally. His other weapons were in for repairs, so taking over the ship through violence was out of the question. Maybe tricking them...

He morphed his body into that of an old man. He stroked his beard. He couldn't take his pogo with him, and it wouldn't be useful on this ship. He collapsed it into it's smallest form and tied it from his neck with a makeshift robe made out of his shirt. It no longer resembled a pogo stick, but looked important. He needed a weapon of some sort. But perhaps not having one would create more of a helpless air. He emerged from his hiding place and slunk through the crowd until he was directly behind Kazumaru.

[Shine]

Obed had seen the other ship surface. He flew in a slow circle around, examining what could be seen of the sword shaped submarine from the outside.

He came to a landing just behind, and slightly to the side, of Kazumaru.

Calling out to the new arrival, he said:

"Well well, if it isn't the little sister of a highly regarded Parasitian. Did "Big Brother" give you permission to cross the street on your own? As I understand it, we are on a journey of exploration, to find new peoples and new lands. I don't think it would be in either of our best interests to start that process off by slaughtering the people we find."




((Should reference to the fact become necessary I would post here that there has been a sample of LS's hair in Mr. Sander's ASF lab in the bunker for several months and Obed has had ample opportunity to "study" it.))

Shavo admired Obed's guts. Taunting what appeared to be a powerful being. But he was making assumptions. What had he said she was?
"A Parasitian...."
That wasn't familiar to him... It did ring something though. He must have heard it somewhere... But where?

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru spun at the sound of voices to his side and back, revealing the forms of Obed and some random old man, who'd managed to jump the considerable gap between the shore and Rocinante. Dismissing either of them as threats, he turned back to the deck Little Sister's ship, still waiting for an answer.

[Coolpikaaa]

As the wave from the sub hit the ship,coolpikaaa's feet lost their grip on the rigging and he fell,bounced once on the wooden deck and rolled down a set of nearby stairs.

He then continued to roll untill he hit a big red button on some sort of control panel.Standing up in a wave of pain,he glanced at the button he had hit.

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru stumbled as the ship lunged forward, it's rather powerful engines suddenly kicking into gear. ~Now, who hit the big context sensitive button...?~

Shavo jumped out of the way to avoid being run into. He actually felt better now that they were off. There was nothing he could do, so he wouldn't bother worrying.

~~Victoria~~
The ship lurched forward, and Victoria braced herself on the wall next to her. From the loud "thump" and the sounds of Savannah using language that neither of them were meant to know, however, she obviously hadn't.
"I think we need to get into a cabin," Victoria mused.
"Yeah, but what cabin?" snapped Savannah. "Oh, never mind. I'm going back up to the crow's nest."
Victoria followed, wary for any more sudden shifts from the boat. After all, she didn't want her sister to crack her head open.

[Maraha]

Maraha shuddered as the ship set sail, she slowly stepped to the center of the deck, fearing that if she got too close to the edge she'd fall off. 'Maybe this wasn't such a good idea...!' She thought.

She twirled around when the rather frightening Submarine surfaced. "Great googly moogly! Where'd you get that?" She had to grasp her hat so it didn't fly away in the wind. She smirked evilly before thinking; 'Maybe this won't be so bad after all... Heheh...'

[Sparkles]

Sparkles was eagerly enjoying the ship, although it had only now started to set sail, hovering above the crow's nest with glee. Quickly, however, she noticed a new dot on the horizon.

Whipping out a spyglass that she conveniently had on her, she looked through it in the direction of where she saw the dot.

Now it was a slightly bigger, brown dot.

Sparkles sighed, and cleaned the lens with her shirt, before looking through it again.

It was a ship, though she couldn't make any details out.

She pointed in the direction she saw it, and yelled, "Hey, there's something out there!"

Meanwhile --

The pirates of the Citrus Gold were surprisingly hard workers.

They first noticed the Rocinante about the same time as Sparkles noticed them, if not slightly before then.

"Capt'n!" yelled a gnarled pirate, perched in the crow's nest, looking through a spyglass.

"What?" snarled the reply, coming from a scarred pirate, sporting an eyepatch and torn clothing.

"Capt'n, thar be a boat launchin' thereabouts!" the other pirate replied, pointing to where he noticed the Rocinante.

"Yeh sure yeh're not turned around and that just be t' Broken Coast?"

"No, ma'am!"

"Fine, then."

The second pirate, now identified as female (though it was hard to tell, in any case), yelled out to the rest of the crew.

"Pirates! Thar be a ship t' plunder! We be waitin' f' them to approach, then we make our move!"

"Aye!" yelled the listening crewmembers, before returning to their business.

~~Victoria~~
Victoria and her sister finally managed to get back up to the crow's nest, fortunately with no more unpleasent accidents befalling her sister. Leaning over the rail, Savannah showed her rare irritable side - well, rare to those who didn't know her. Normally she just kept it under control so that she didn't accidently kill someone with some lightning.
"Things are moving too slowly," she snapped, and called to the winds. Suddenly, an almost gale-force wind whipped around them, and the boat fairly doubled it's speed.

[Kazumaru]

As a sudden wind caught the Rocinante's sails, the ship lunged again, sending Kazumaru to the floor, smacking his head against the deck with a sickening thud.

((Knowing Kaz, the ship's probably going at the highest speed where you can still walk around on the deck without getting thrown off. I don't quite think that doubling that is a good plan...))

~~Victoria~~
The boat lunged forward, and Savannah fell - yet again. In her defense, the only reason Victoria didn't was that she was sitting down. Savannah finally managed to hit her head hard enough to go unconcious, and the winds abruptly went back to their riginal pace.
Daring to stand, Victoria peered up over the edge.
"Oh no," she whispered.
Right in front of them, clear as day now, was another vessel.
