Savannah and Victoria looked at each other.
"We don't go anywhere without each other," Savannah said.
"She's a weather mage, so being up here would be perfect for her," Victoria added.
"But with out Victoria, I'd no doubt fall and break my neck, klutz that I am," Savannah continued. "I know Victoria would do wonders for your fighting force, though."
"And having a weather mage around in a fight really is helpful," Victoria quickly assured the stranger.
Savannah and Victoria grinned at each other. They knew one and other too well.

It's, well, kinda, my name. Er, I mean, great choice of names, Intyalle! ;D )

"Ooo! A fancy pirate ship thing! I wonder if they're giving away free Johnny Depps!" Maraha [currently in human form] 'squeed' before shoving through the crowd, untill she eventually reached Kaz. "Excuse me fine sir, but is there room for one more?" She asked with the sweetest voice she could muster, complete with the batting of her eyelashes and big sparkly eyes... enough to make an evil overlord sick to his stomach.

Kazumaru looked Maraha up and down. "Hmm... Well, I guess it couldn't hurt to have a lass who isn't obsessed with heights-" He glanced at the twins up on the crowsnest "-nor my daughter" A glance at Sparkles. "Sure. Go on board."

Turning to Sparkles, he said "And that's why I don't want you fighting. You'd either get hurt or show me up. I don't want either of those, my little precious Sparkles." He ruffled her hair. "Now, do you still want to come, Sparkles?"

TBS examined the newcomers with interest.

It'll be a fine trip, I presume. he thought as he watched as one girl pushed a storm away. To him, this was amazing-he was no stranger to magic himself, but somebody being able to control the weather was quite unheard of.

Shortly afterwards, his sense of awe was replaced with a sense of disappointment. He liked stormy days, when it rained hard and lightning cracked through the sky. It was his kind of weather. But since some person decided it wasn't gonna happen, it was going to be a horrible, sunny day now.

He decided it wasn't worth fretting about. The were-grendel walked over to the side of the ship and glanced out towards the horizon, awaiting the time for when the ship finally took off.

Sparkles stuck her tongue out at her father.

"I'm going to fight anyway~!"

With that, she pushed back from Kazumaru, leaping back into flight to investigate the crow's nest and the open ocean in front of them.

Coolpikaaa swung by his feet upside down on the rigging in front of sparkles.He hadn't exactly meant to, as he really was just trying to join the others in the crows nest, but it was ok all the same.

Startled by the newcomers, victoria realised she'd just pulled her Hanbo out. Red-faced with embarrasement, she carefully put it back into her pack.
Noticing her sisters predicament, Savannah came to the rescue. "It's getting a bit crowded now, do you think you could help me down please, Victoria?" she asked. "No offense intended," she assured those around them.
"Of course," said Victoria, slightly faster than intended. together, Victoria and Savannah made their way down to the deck.
"Now what?" Savannah asked her.
"I don't know," Victoria replied. "I guess we find somewhere to stay, but where could we do that?"

The crowd about the explorers was bustling with excitement - those who weren't brave enough to volunteer to join Kazumaru's crew still managed to find themselves caught up in the adventurous atmosphere. "I wonder what they'll find." "Do you think that there are other cities on the other side?" "It's certainly exciting, isn't it?"

"Travelling to the 'other side', what a stupid idea..." HollowEyes remarked as he watched the antics of the so-called explorers as they prepared to set off. The general attitude of the crowd here seemed to be just as dim-witted. "Everybody knows that Blackstar just loops around on itself, they're just going to wind up in the Black Forest before they know it." He muttered dismissively, not really talking to anybody in particular. Those close to him ignored his attempts at ruining the good times, instead preferring to be caught up in more thrilling conversational topics.

Caton remained silent, though he disagreed with his master on this. He didn't know the lord of the land too well but for somebody named 'The Dark Psycho' to have everything set down on a map for all to see... It didn't seem quite likely.

They weren't here to debate the journey and whether or not it was pointless though, HollowEyes had wanted to watch the crew leave personally. It had struck up a bit of interest with the masses lately and he thought that it was worth checking out personally, just in case things got interesting. Suddenly he noticed something out of the corner of his eye, and it caused him to smile a little. "Heh, looks like I won't need to go anywhere after all." "Boss?" Caton replied, clearly confused. HollowEyes jerked his head over to the left of the Rocinante, and Caton noticed that the water had begun to stir slightly.

~Mind if I leave this up to you, Liyao?~ HollowEyes asked, waiting for the imminent flashy entrance of his twin.

~Keh! Like I'd need your help anyway!~ Little Sister replied, mentally laughing at her twin. ~Get lost already, Byule.~

Little Sister grinned wildly as she looked about her own vessel, which was currently submerged deep beneath the waves, far below the Rocinante. "Now to show these chumps what a real ship's like!" A flurry of woven arms whipped about her, pushing at buttons, pulling levers and turning wheels to bring her ship top-side.

With a terrific crash the submarine broke the surface of the water, sending waves in all directions as it hit the water again to level itself out. It looks more like a giant sword than a submarine, as one end is made to a point that looks as if it'd smash through just about anything, the large battered blade simply reeking of Little Sister's own personal sense of style. She too had decided to display a Jolly Roger, though hers was a large snake crushing a human skull in it's jaws. The submarine's name was written in large red lettering that resembled blood (though of course, given that it was written on the outside of a submarine, it couldn't be) - she'd called it the Moray Slaughter.

It wasn't until people thought about the name that they might notice the eye-like windows at the front end or the fin like propellors and rudders at the back end. Her submarine was distinctively similar to the Temple of Nothing, and it was highly likely that she'd borrowed some of the resources available to Noten to create this monstrosity of a ship.

A hatch on top of the submarine suddenly snapped open, and Little Sister popped out, much more proud of her own obvious superiority than usual. "Just thought I'd show you what you were up against before you cast off, losers!" She laughed, looking at their ship as though it were some sort of toy. It was actually quite a bit bigger than her submarine, though it lacked the murderous cruelty that the Moray Slaughter seemed to exude.

"So how's this work? I assume that the one who kills the most natives gets the land?"

Shavo looked up from his hiding place on the ship. This is why he didn't like stowing away on vessels he knew nothing about. He'd be noticed if he got off now. He sighed.
Looks like I'm in for the trip.

TBS was getting lost in his own thoughts, but jumped back in alarm when the Moray Slaughter broke the surface. He summoned the powers of darkness to aid him, lest whatever drove that blade-like thing wanted to battle.

"So how's this work? I assume that the one who kills the most natives gets the land?" asked some sort of spider-like creature that popped out of the machine.

"What the hell? As far as I know, there won't be any killing involved once we get over to the other side," the were-grendel yelled back. He considered firing his deadly soul-sucking web of darkness at the spider-thing, due to its menacing but decided against it. Instead, he turned to Kaz and listened to his response.

Not exactly the response I would give, but whatever. he thought, before going below deck.

((At first I set them up for the 'Pumpkin patch' section, then I just started using them because it was easier for people to distinguish between my characters this way.))

"No killing?! Ha! What the hell are you going on an expedition for then?" Little Sister laughed, amazed at how wussy this other crew seemed to be. If you couldn't kill a few of the natives a trip wasn't worth going on in her opinion.

"And no, I guess it doesn't really look like much of a contest, does it?" She replied smugly to the one who appeared to be the ship's captain. She recognized him as one of Paranesia's minions, having been told not to kill him if he entered the Cave, though evidently he did not recognize her. It was a little disappointing, but unavoidable really - it would be a little naive of her to expect everybody in Blackstar to know who she was.

"Name's Liyao, here's my card." She smirked, a long thin strand of hair extending out to pass it on to the spirit of electricity. The print read 'Liyao, Professional Butcher/Amateur Surgeon', though 'Captain of the Moray Slaughter' had been added in pen beneath that.

Savannah jumped when the submarine surfaced, hitting her head on the wood above her.
"Ow!" she squeaked, rubbed the sore spot. Victoria just rolled her eyes and put her Bo back on her back.
"All these surprises are doing me no good," she growled. "At this rate, my nerves'll become so frayed that I'll become as clumsy as you and knock myself out."
"I doubt you could ever be as clumsy as me," Savannah replied drily as she felt a lump beginning to rise.
