I can't seem to get my DS connected to the internet.
My house has wi-fi and when I set up the connection it found it pretty much instantly but immidiately after that I tested it and it said it couldn't connect and has said the same ever since.
Any suggestions? _________________ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve ~ Sir Walter Scott

If it's got a password of any kind the DS won't connect up at all. That's the problem that I have atm.
Otherwise... Maybe the DS isn't strong enough to detect the connection from where you are? Try moving around a bit and see if you can get a better spot maybe (though I doubt that'll help very much ). _________________ If I'm not here, I'm probably over at...

I've tried sitting next to the box with the DS pointed at it and still got no signal.
I hadn't thought about a password but considering my dad set the system up it wouldn't suprise me. I shall investigate.
Edit: No password but the Wi-fi box did have an 'enabled users' list, which my DS wasn't on. It is now but I'm still only getting patchy signal. I might look into getting a USB adapter for it.
Thanks for the help though. _________________ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve ~ Sir Walter Scott

I haven't found any problems getting my DS to connect, but I have heard not everyone's been so lucky. I'd try erasing the Wi-Fi setup connection and trying again - there is an option for inputting a password, if any, associated with your network/router/wifi, so you can connect to a secure hotspot if you know the key. _________________

Well our Wi-fi has always been pretty poor. We only have it at all because the router we got had it built in and the only computer the uses it is my dads laptop.
So I decided to invest in a USB connector instead, which seems to have mostly worked. Sitting at my desk with it plugged into my computer I get perfect signal on all my games.
The one exception is going underground in Pokemon, even when everything else, like the GTS, works fine its still telling me I have no signal underground. _________________ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve ~ Sir Walter Scott

That's because Underground is Wireless, not Wi-Fi. _________________ LYNCH'S X-TREME POST-APOCALYPTIC ROOFTOP BEACH VOLLEYBALL |

Thats would explain it.
Although it does make me wonder why it kept telling me I couldn't use it until I'd set up the wi-fi thing. _________________ Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve ~ Sir Walter Scott

I never had that trouble. It didn't tell me anything of the sort about the Underground even though I didn't even have a Wi-Fi connection at the time. _________________ LYNCH'S X-TREME POST-APOCALYPTIC ROOFTOP BEACH VOLLEYBALL |
