[Kazumaru]

((Takes place post-Frozen. :O))

Kazumaru had finally gotten fed up with the frequent destruction of his base, the frequent harm that came to him, and the paint can storms. He'd decided to do something that nobody had done before, to the best of his knowledge... Explore the other side of the planet.

And so, here Kaz was. At the edge of the Glades, in what he thought would be an unnoticable location, with his recently completed pirate ship at his back.

Unfortunately, it was more noticable than he'd hoped, apparently, as a small crowd stood in front of him, wanting to go with him. "Fine, fine..." he muttered "I've got a lot of food anyway... go on."

((So yeah. We're going to the other side of Blackstar. ))

[Coolpikaaa]

"Fine, fine...I've got a lot of food anyway... go on."

After hearing those words coolpikaaa walked up the gangplank and onto the pirate ship which was drifting in a happy way on the sea leading out from the glades.

Salty air rushed up as a wave hit the ship.It was quite exciting actually,coolpikaaa had never heard of any other quests for the other side of the planet.In fact, coolpikaaa wouldn't have ever even thought of there being another side if it wasn't for his better judgement.

The beach appeared barren of animal life. While there was plenty of plant life behind the sands, not even a crab was wandering around. But perhaps there was good reason for that.

For if one was to look around, he would notice unusual shadows with no owners, moving around in seemingly random paths.

These shadows were their own owners. There was more than the eye could see about them. Or at least right now.

The Swodahs had recently come to the opposite side of the Dojo, hoping to call this territory all their own. Right now, they were patrolling the beach, searching for intruders to destroy. Much to their annoyance, they were unable to find even a single one.

~Why are we unable to find any foreigners?~ one of the shadows mindspoke.

~Maybe because they know we're here and don't want to show themselves?~

~Stop grumbling. If there are no others here, they know this side of the Dojo belongs to us.~

The were-grendel who referred to himself as The Black Soul was busying himself with examining Kaz's pirate ship. After getting the okay from the ship's owner, he followed Coolpikaaa aboard.

He was in his rather unordinary human form, hiding his other side lest it attract suspicion. His pack's strap was wrapped around his waist, and his soul-sucking spear was in its sheath on his back. He felt he was ready for an adventure like this.

As he looked around, TBS wondered why he had never wondered if there was another side. He guessed it was because, since his arrival here, he never knew the Dojo was round. He had always assumed it was flat.

Learn something new everyday, I suppose. he thought.

[Sparkles]

One of the group was floating, hovering above the ground with no movement of their insectine wings.

"Fine, fine...I've got a lot of food anyway... go on."

She flew over the crowd, pausing behind her father.

"Hi, dad, I was wondering where you were~ you weren't anywhere. I guess I found you, then? Where're you going? Dad?"

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru's ears twitched as he heard the familiar voice of his daughter.

He turned to face her, looking around for a second before remembering how short she was. He looked down. "Oh. Hi Sparkles." he said. "I'm uh, going out to sea, I guess... To the other side of Blackstar. For fun. And joy. And slaughter of local inhabitants in the hope I can profit from their pre-existing resources and technology."

The spirit ruffled his daughter's hair. "It'll be pretty dangerous."

[Sparkles]

Sparkles frowned; she didn't like being treated like a kid, although she very much was one.

"Da~ad, my name's Sparks, get it right... Can I go, though? Please?"

[Intyalle]

~~Savannah~~
Savannah rejoiced in the feel and smell of the fresh wind whirling around her, blown straight off the sea. She could feel a storm developing, but it was several days' sail away.
Beside her stood her sister. They were both completely identical in looks, with short blonde hair, light blue eyes and pale skin. Both girls were slender and of an average height. The biggest visible difference between the twins was that Victoria had a Bo out.
Savannah was a powerful weather mage, but she could never use martial arts the way her sister could. Victoria had studied various arts for years, but had never been officially ranked in any one art. Where Victoria was well-balanced and co-ordinated, Savannah was a hopeless klutz. When it came to fighting, Savannah would just stay back and play with her magic.
But while Victoria was highly accomplished at her martial arts, she had never had any magical powers. Neither sister resented or was jealous of the other, however. It was just unthinkable for them.
Suddenly, a voice called out.
"Fine, fine..." he muttered "I've got a lot of food anyway... go on."
Savannah's nerves jangled with excitement, and she could almost feel Victoria hum with energy beside her.
They were going on a voyage!

~~Victoria~~
Victoria led the way to the ship, clearing the path of any loose stones that her sister would no doubt trip on.
This was the furthest either of them had ever been from home. Victoria had wanted to leave because there was no more of the arts that she could learn in her home of Psychotopia, and Savannah had wanted to leave because she hated the city. According to her, it was too "stale". So now, finally, they'd left their poor mother to live the rest of her life quietly in the city - away from the pair of girls that collected trouble wherever they went.
Victoria delighted in the idea of an adventure, and enthusiastically made her way aboard the ship.

[Shine]

Obed was standing bipedally, he has his pirate "pistoleros" on cross straps across his chest. He is wearing his seafaring clothes and has a sea-trunk on his shoulder. He has a 17th century tri-corner hat over a bandana keeping his dreadlocks in place from the blowing sea breeze.
(the hat had once belonged to a Captain, before the mutiny, but thats another story and one he probably won't tell Kaz)

He steps over to Kazumaru and says:
"I'd like to sign on to the crew. I have experience in privateering and I have letters of reference. I am qualified to be one of your officers, if you have any openings, I know the value of discipline on shipboard and I am fully capable of command positions. I am also good with maps and charts and navigation."

He offers a set of papers to Kaz.

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru looked around, watching the crowd board, before answering his daughter. He started with a sigh. "Alright, fine... But if we have to fight, you go below deck, understand?"

Turning to Obed, he grabbed the papers and looked through them quickly. "Alright, fine... You can be in charge of the battleplans and whatnot." he tucked the papers in his lab coat and looked directly at Obed. "You look awfully familiar..." after a pause, he continued. "Welcome to the crew of the Rocinante, uh" he pulled the papers out and looked at them again. "Obed."

~~Victoria~~
Voctoria lead her sister on, weaving her way through the crowd untill they reached the person who appeared to be in charge. At this point, Victoria stepped back and let Savannah take the lead.
"Excuse me," she said politely. "May we join you?"
Victoria shook her head slightly, amused. Despite the fiery temper that they'd both inherited, Savannah could mince words with the best of them and had beautiful manners - most of the time. Victoria did not envy her the level of control Savannah required to stop herself from accidently doing something such as strike someone down with lightning. Victoria did not think that she could ever keep herself so... level.

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru felt a little overwhelmed, so he just quickly nodded and, without looking at the girls for more than a second, said "Sure, ladies, just head on... There's some rooms belowdecks."

[Shine]

((Since it is your RP originally, Kaz, would you describe the ship? is it a modern cruise liner?, is it a yacht sized pleasure craft, is it an old time three masted schooner. is it an inflateable raft, (my personal favorite )or just what do you have in mind??))

[Kazumaru]

((Ah, right. I guess I should've done that already.

Alright, the ship [named Rocinante] has an exterior resembling a three-masted schooner. [complete with Jolly Roger flag, lightning replacing the bones, skull intact] The interior, however, is a lot more modern- comfy beds, electricity, a main kitchen (Private kitchens are for lamers!) and lighting. But no bathrooms. Because I'm evil.

Authentic wood planking for all the floors, though. ))

~~Victoria~~
"Thank you," her sister said, inclining her head.
Now Victoria took the lead again, and they boarded the boat.
"Oh!" Savannah suddenly squeed behind her. "A crow's nest!"
Victoria shook her head. Wheather mages and high places. She followed Savannah as she climbed, of course. No good would come of a dead twin.

~~Savannah~~
When they got up to the crow's nest, Savannah rejoiced in the flow of breeze over her. Drawn by her excitement, rainclouds quickly closed in, small lightnings playing across them.
"Uh... Savannah?" she heard Victoria say behind her. Opening her eyes again, she saw the storm that had gone unnoticed in her attentions to the wind.
"I don't think so," Savannah said firmly, and pushed the clouds back the way they had come.

[Shine]

Obed stowed his gear in a room just down the stairs from the pilot deck.

He stuck a post-it on the door outside that read "I Snore Loudly" (hopeing to discourage anyone from rooming with him,) and returned to the deck.

It got suddenly dark.
He looked up and saw the two young ladies up near the crows nest, and as he watched, the one brushed away the storm clouds.

"Now dats one lady I wan to know better" he thought to himself. He crouched slightly, unfurled his wings, and with a few powerful beats, he took off skyward. Soon he was hovering just beside them.

"Allow me to introduce myself" he addressed them, "I am Obed, the Lion of Judah, the Guardian of the Holy Ark, the Master of the Sacred Plagues, and former Pira.. hum, ah, Sea Farer. I am one of the command staff here, and I am trying to organize the crew. Are either of you interested in being posted to the Crow's Nest, and would either of you want to be in the fighting force should we need one?"
