The Forests are Frozen

[Coolpikaaa]

Coolpikaaa almost fell over backwards as he tried extremely hard not to break out in a laughing fit.

Kaz had somehow managed to land on the wolf back,and had frozen there,while the wolf jumped around in circles trying to get him off.In any other place and time,this would be hilarious.

But the wolf could probably end up hurting his friend,so coolpikaaa once again threw some electricity toward the neck of the creature,where kazumaru's arms were,hoping it once again create enough resistance to thaw him out.It might even mess up the wolf again...

Coolpikaaa watched as frost crept up the walls of the corrupted cave,but never once touched a certain bookshelf.The water puddle near it was the most likely reason,as it had not completely frozen yet.But once again,another thought was floating through coolpikaaa's mind as he waited hopefully for his attack to defrost Kaz.

((I'm so confused right now ))

Cloud backed away from the Wolf as it started to attack, then on Coolpikaaa's words he flipped over the snarling beast (and Kaz) and landed a short way behind. He turned around, pulled out one of his short swords and threw it at the wolf. It was the only thing he could do since any kind of magic had little affect.

[Kazumaru]

CP's bolt hit Kazumaru's arm, and he managed to channel the electricity into himself, unthawing his arm long enough for him to raise it and give the horns.

His thawed arm was on the inside of Articus' spin, giving him the appearence of some sort of bull rider.

[Shine]

Seeing as the tractor beam was not able to lift the spirit of electricity off of the evil nasty wolfish beasty thing separately, Whiteoak adjusted the target selection to the wolf itself.

Lowering the butt end to the ground, he engaged the tractor beam's inertial dampers so he would not have to manually bear the weight himself, and he then engaged the tractor beam itself. Next, he adjusted the settings so that if all went as planned, the wolf would be lifted off of the ground.

"Hmmm," Whiteoak thought to himself, "I wonder how he will react to that?"

[Shaon]

The wolf snarled, circling and bucking, attempting to get the spirit off of him. He was distracted to the point that he didn't notice his being raised off the ground.

[Kazumaru]

Kazumaru thought-spoke. ~Hey, guys. I know this must look like a lot of fun, riding on top of what I'm pretty sure is the God of Ice, but uh, it's kinda painful, and my life's a bit at risk here. Lifting me above ground doesn't help, in fact, it's starting to scare me worse... So, can you like, unfreeze my other arm or something? Y'know, it's just a small thing I'd like you to do...~

[Coolpikaaa]

A spirit.Riding a wolf.Rodeo-style.Floating above the ground.

You just can't get much better than that.

Coolpikaaa watched the unfolding events with keen interest as that thought went through his mind.It was soon followed by Kaz's mindspeak,and coolpikaaa again took aim,this time for the other arm.

[Shine]

Whiteoak whispers to Obed through their earpiece communicator:
"Are you ready."

"I am, but we have to wait until everyone's clear, don't we? replied the lion-sphynx just as quietly.

Whiteoak called out to the group, "Help get Kaz off it, then stand clear, and hurry, this won't last forever.

Turning to Cloud, Whiteoak asks:
"Does the EC have anyplace strong enough to hold this thing?"

[Cloud]

Cloud waves his arm lazily, shooting a controlled burst of wind at Kaz in the hopes of knocking him off the Wolf. He then turns to Whiteoak.

"Well, we could get it lost in there easy enough as long as it's in the dark, dank depths. There are enough smells down there to confuse a dinosaur."

[Kazumaru]

The burst of wind hit Kaz with enough force to break off his left leg and send the rest of him to the ground, making an audible thud as he hit.

The wolf paused as the spirit managed to fall off of him, then promptly decided to maul him.

[Kazumaru]

~MY REST OF MEEEEEEEE!!!~

Undine had been laying low, seeing as her attack had no effect. Apparently, this creature was not able to be hurt by magic. And it considered her ice disk magic.

However, she couldn't just stand around and let somebody get mauled by this ice-wolf thing, as was about to happen. She had to do something. But what?

She was weak physically, especially in her human form. And her normal form wasn't going to be of much help on land.

The water spirit decided to bide her time, waiting for a good chance to get a better planned attack in, and let the others save Kaz from being chewed up.

[Coolpikaaa]

"OI! BACK OFF!"

Coolpikaaa yelled at the wolf that had decided to maul his one legless friend.Charging for a quick second, he blasted out a mighty beam of electicity that ripped through the air toward the wolf's head and neck.

A loud crack echoed through the cave,shaking books out of their shelves and throwing blown away shards of ice from the beam's wake.

Anger.

Anger, hate, rage.

That's all he felt, all he could feel.

The bolt shot through the collar, shot through his body, singing fur that covered the collar.

He yelped, was thrown into a wall, freezing it on contact. He slumped to the ground, momentarily motionless.

There was a sickening crack, as the collar began to glow faintly, unnaturally, from the energy absorbed by the bolt.

The wolf himself was not unconscious, trembling. His mind was in a rush.

Yelps, crying, pain, then none- bright lights, gold, yellow, the cat.

Why the cat?

The cat was holding out its- hand? Paw? At him, the sillhouette unable to show emotion.

"I'm Paranesia. You?"

Only sadness, afterwards.

Visibly trembling, the wolf stood up, nonexisting bones snapping and popping into place. He was trying to remember something, how to do something, but-

He realized it.

He spoke, an unnatural, yelping noise, from something not meant to speak. But yet, he spoke, to the rodent, and the frozen spirit in front of him.

"Why?"
