Ok, So here is the breakdown for the Ranks
First, your Ordinary Ranks: These vary based on your post Count, as listed below

Rank postcount
White belt.............0
Yellow Belt...........25
Red Belt..............50
Green Belt...........100
Blue Belt............200
Brown Belt...........400
Black Belt...........800

Here are examples of each belt, listed by color
   
  
You also get a rank based on how long you've been a member fo the Dojo...but I'll leave that as a surprise as to when they will change. For some, your in for a long wait, though.
Here is an example of your time based ranks:
If and when it comes to pass that we have several people posting above 800, I'll consider adding Degree's of Black Belt's. But not right now.
Special Ranks:
A Rank is reserved for someone found to be a Master RP'er
Also, there are Ranks for Admins and Mods
Admin: 
Mod: 
Board Spirit Ranks:
On top of your status rank, you may elect to have an additional Spirit Rank to show of your home board/boards. In fact, you can have up to three of these, but I'd suggest you just stick to one. The Admin will only grant more than one in exceptional circumstances
The Evil Council: Only members of the Council get this one!)

I must say that I'm proud that we have several people returning to the CC just to RP here on Blackstar. This includes people like Ashen Rain, and Micka. And as such, I have a new spirit rank for those that call Blackstar home: The Blackstar Native's rank!
I'll be adding this to people's profil upon request by PM. Remember, you can have at maximum 3 spirit ranks, so if you meet this already, I cannot award you another one.

I'm confused... I thought the blackstar Native rank was reserved for those who either:
reside on no other forum, OR resided on a different forum, then left the CC, then came to this forum, OR resided on this forum first before going to others...
