Fire worked amazingly well on coolpikaaa now.

They symbiote covering flew half-off,tendrils waging everywhere.Coolpikaaa fell down out of the fire,and layed on the ground for a moment.

Slowly he pulled himself up on to all fours again,determination flaring in his eyes.The symbiote was flailing half on his body,half squirming in the air,but as soon as it detected the fight wasn't over,reworked itself around it's host.

Coolpikaaa wished he could speak.From what he had heard Holloweyes was a logical man,and maybe he could reason with him.Coolpikaaa's face showed a pleeding look before the symbiote took over his thoughts again and shot three more,very thin tendrils.

They where just as sharp as the first one,but maybe if they were thiner,they could get through the vines.

Kazumaru eventually gave up on running away, and decide to walk back to the cave. (Yes, he gave up on giving up.)

The very naked spirit once again saw the fight between the symbiote-pika, and HollowEyes, and once again, he was pretty sure this couldn't end well. "I hate this place." he muttered.

Bloody ashes...

Her head was pounding.

Her chest hurt.

It was hard to breathe.

It was hard to keep her eyes open.

Damn alarms...

She struggled to get up in an attempt to clear her throbbing head, using the cave wall for assistance. Now standing, or rather leaning heavily on the wall as if she needed it to remain vertical, she turned her head so that she could glare at the two.

The Parasitian was yelling nonsense. Why would everyone come here if the child wasn't?

And Coolpikaaa... she's never seen him this way before and she did not like it at all.

God, this was so chaotic. A dangerous glint appeared in her eyes as her usually dormant temper flared up. First they left her behind, second they disrupted a difficult spell, leaving her in this pitifully weak state, and now this idiocy.

Goddess give me strength...

"Stop fighting idiots!" she hissed, narrowing her eyes. She was past the point of caring what she said now- her main concern was getting these two to stop so that she could have some peace and quiet to heal herself. Goddess know she required it.

To reinforce her statement, she took a deep breath and spat out an incantation while firmly pressing her palms on the stone wall.

"Tsuchi seishou tame mai kyuujo... Ishi Kabe!"

The rock underneath her palms trembled. The movement continued down the wall, under her feet, and in a relatively straight path, all the way towards the two fighters.

The floor gave one last shudder as a stone wall shot up in between the Parasitian and Coolpikaaa. The vine that HollowEyes had made was split in half as the wall shot up, flopping over opposite to the other and landing on the ground with a thud.

It was long enough so that it would take quite a bit of time to walk around, tall enough so that even the Parasitian would not be able to see over it while merely standing, and had almost the same thickness as the previous distance between the two.

Breathing a bit harder, she moaned and collasped against the wall. Doing that spell in this weak state had taken quite a bit out of her, and she only hoped that the fighting would cease. She allowed her eyes to close, and thus did not notice Kazumaru coming in. It was a good thing that she hadn't as well...

((Not sure whether those tendrils of yours CP would go through a thick stone wall so that's up to you. In short though, the vine has been replaced with the wall.))

Goron blinked. Of course he had come for something. The guard obviously knew of Goron's kidnapped child, and was most likely a minion of Paranesia. Obviously not friendly.

"Yes I'm looking for something. And I beleive that you know exactly what it is I am searching for," Goron said, flipping his Carbine off his back, "Maybe you'll help me look for it?"

He leveled the rifle at the pegasus-fox.

"If not, feel free to move out of the way."

Came a cold, emotionless and apparently disembodied voice from near the entrance. Whilst the assassin had not been around for most of this... encounter, she had been close enough to hear it and had only just gotten there. ((Close enough to hear it being at least a mile if not more away for Fade, hence her 'tardiness')). Where the voice had issued from a woman began to fade into view, wearing skintight blue clothes coupled with a blue jacket. Her long hair was tied back in a plait, and her watery grey eyes were as cold as her voice had been.

The mutant assassin paid barely any heed to seeing a naked immortal, but her eyes were narrowed slightly in displeasure at all she'd heard and now what she was seeing. One hand rested in her jacket pocket whilst the other was holding her Sapphire Dagger, pointed downwards and non-threatening but ready should it be needed.

The assassin was, strangely, also wearing a pair of blue furry earmuffs with the words 'EC approved' on them. They were there simply to protect her sensitive ears from the alarms, but even so she could still hear as clearly as any 'normal' person.

It was a good thing too, as a bellow erupted from deeper down inside the Cave. Furnace had been awoken by the alarms, and he was not happy.

All three tendrils splattered on the rock wall.The symbiote had been cut off from it's hunt.

That made it angry.

More Enemies?

Two tendrils shot at the wall and hoisted Symbiote up.From there,they shot to the cave's roof where the inky black symbiote could easily hide in the shadows.

It could easily get to the bookcase now,but below him was the source of the rock wall,a female leaning up against the cave wall.A tendril shot down at her back,it's aim to lift her up to the roof.

"'Idiots' is not a plural in this case, Guardian..." HollowEyes said, annoyed that this new intruder had insulted him as such. He wasn't an overly proud creature, but to lumped together with Coolpikaaa was just too much. "Your little friend behind that wall was the one who threw the first punch, shortly after knocking back my generous offer to allow him the opportunity to leave unharmed." He didn't expect to be believed, as Council members rarely were, but he still felt like saying it. "Feel free to relay that little gem to Goron, Coolpikaaa can't deny that he's responsible for setting the alarms off." He added a little louder, hoping that Coolpikaaa would hear him.

A loud roaring sound echoed throughout the Cave shortly after HollowEyes said this. "Ah, Boss, we probably shouldn't wake Furnace." Caton said in a very nervous voice, cringing at the sound of the dragon's bellowing. His animal instincts told him that this was a most furious roar. "Too late to worry about that now, isn't it?" HollowEyes said, surprised that his minion was scared of the fire-beast. "Might want to pull yourself together before he gets here though." Caton was not amused by his master's joke, but proceeded to try and rejoin his halves all the same.

"Jokes aside Guardians, you're all trespassing. If it were just Goron by himself I might've believed the baby story, but one by one we seem to be getting all of the Guardians coming here. I'd have to be some sort of moron to not consider the possibility that you've got alterior motives in being here." The Parasitian Second-in-Command said loudly, aiming to address all Guardians present. "I'll admit that I find it strange that the usually passive Guardians would be the first to strike, though I suppose that's good for us - we don't often get to play the victim angle, you know."

He looked back to the rock wall that had grown between himself and the Guardian rodent, trying to reassure himself. Fade had appeared on that side moments before, there was no doubt that she could handle herself and it sounded like Furnace was on the way too. All he had to do was see that the sorceress didn't cause much trouble. "Incantations that sound Japanese with a powerful control over magic and still barely an adult... Unless the reports are wrong you must be Nynaeve." He tapped the rocky wall that she'd formed with one hand, as if to check that it wasn't an illusion or something similar. "As a magic user who's not particularily gifted with the elements, I'm quite impressed. It's one thing to see someone's abilities on paper but quite another to see them in real life."

HollowEyes almost sounded like he was being friendly to Nynaeve, but his tone quickly changed as he continued. He indicated with jerk of his head to the wall behind him. "You should know that Fade is the same, her skill as an assassin has to be seen to be believed. Or rather, not seen..." He laughed a little at this, though if Nynaeve didn't know about Fade's ability it probably wouldn't be so funny. The fact that her fellow Guardian's life was at stake probably also would've helped to kill any humour that she might find in the situation. "Control your friend and get out of here if you value his life and your own. Make sure that no other Guardians enter our Cave. Goron's child is not here, Goron will surely come to realize that himself in time and if he's lucky, he'll return to you in one piece."

Kazumaru, who'd only been half paying attention up to this point, walked up beside HollowEyes, shaking like a leaf despite his immortality. "Uh, excuse me, Mr. Big Scary Thing... can you tell me what's going on? Or where we are? Or why I'm naked?" he said, a genuine look of confusion across his face.

HollowEyes sighed as the weird naked guy forced the Second-in-Command to notice him again. He wanted to say 'I was trying to ignore you' but decided against it - he was pretty sure that this was one of Paranesia's lot, and he didn't want her hearing him insult them in case she took offense to it.

"It's HollowEyes," he started in a most unamused tone. "And what's going on is that Goron thinks that his child is here when it isn't, and the rest of the Guardians are using that as an excuse to barge in on our lair, the Corrupted Cave. We are in the entrance of said lair, and I have no idea why you're here or why you're naked. Maybe you're just trying to express yourself."

While still leaning against the wall, Nynaeve was startled when she heard the Parasitian speak. Her eyes fluttered open to look at him, a bit of a frown on her face. His behaviour was certainly rather strange, and she did not like how he knew so much about her and her so little of him.

He doesn't know everything though...

That brief thought was only slightly reassuring.

She closed her eyes again and sighed, wishing desperately that they had not made such a "loud" entrance. Composing herself, she opened them again to direct her full attention to the Parastian.

"My apologies for the trespassing and the insult which was said without thought," she replied smoothly as she could while having difficulty breathing, her gaze never wavering from his face, "but you are mistaken. If Goron's child was not here, and DP swore to get him back, then why has DP come here if the child is not here also? With this type of situation, where Goron by himself would be greatly outnumbered, of course we would try to aid him as much as possible. That includes coming here to back him up. Weâ€˜re not looking for a fight. We just want the child back in the arms of the mother."

She watched as the one named "HollowEyes" turned to talk to another person... who wasn't wearing anything. Blushing a bright red, she quickly averted her eyes off to one side as she pushed off the wall slightly with her hands in an attempt to stand more upright.

Kazumaru nodded, now understanding parts of the situation. Recalling something he got from Para during that brief time she sent a message to him, he said "Oh yeah... The Goddess mentioned something about a kid. Thanks for your help, HollowEyes." He sounded rather like a child, speaking with politeness and a clear ignorance of the current situation.

After finishing his sentence, he went back to where he was before, laid down, and attempted to remember which direction was up.

HollowEyes felt like crushing Kazumaru's skull into the ground that he lay upon, that idiotic servant of Paranesia had almost ruined everything! The mention of DP's name instantly caught HollowEyes attention, and he was now almost certain that the Guardians were indeed telling the truth - he hadn't even known that the God was here.

Of course, there was no way in hell he'd let them know that, given DP's history with the Council it wasn't exactly hard to make up a believable lie. "DP's a former headmaster, it's hardly surprising to have him here in the Cave. It's possible that he's here for a number of reasons." Of course, now that Kazumaru had mentioned Paranesia and the child in the same sentance, this gave HollowEyes very little to work with. "Maybe he's just asking some old friends for help. I won't get into an argument on the subject but it should be obvious from your entrance that we could handle something like this a lot better than you could." A vague possibility, but not nearly as likely as HollowEyes made it seem. His best defense here would be the secrecy that surrounded the Council, as very few Dojodians would know about DP during his time as an EC member.

Unable to think of any other reasons that wouldn't seem like outright lies, HollowEyes shrugged. "Who knows? I don't pretend to understand the God of Insanity and neither should you." He leaned over and picked up one half of Caton at this point, who had fallen over trying to piece himself back together. "But think for a moment. Taking into consideration all that you know about the Council, do you honestly think that there is anybody here who would take a newborn child, not harm it in any way and not ask for anything in return?"

"The fact that the baby is still alive and well should be enough, but I'd think that the distinct lack of any sort of ransom note would've taken us right off your suspect list - who here could be bothered to kidnap and raise random children?" Aside from Paranesia, HollowEyes couldn't actually think of anyone. Stealing kids and raising them as your own seemed more like an adoption process gone awry rather than some sort of diabolical scheme.

Fade raised an eyebrow slightly at seeing a black pikachu jump up to the ceiling just after a large rock wall arose from the ground between it and the Parasitian. She would have been surprised a little rodent could jump that high, as the Cave wasn't exactly small, but she wasn't one for paying much attention to her emotions.

The hand inside her pocket withdrew, revealing a throwing dagger.

"Get down from there or you may find yourself in more trouble than you thought rodent"

Fade said, the word 'rodent' stated as a fact rather than an insult, which probably would have made it sound worse. The statement was prompted because nothing could cling to the Caves walls for long and escape the Wall Slimes notice, and the assassin could already see it moving towards the dark part of the ceiling. If HollowEyes had not earlier offered them the chance to leave alive, Fade would not have bothered.

Clicking sounds of claws accompanied by surprisingly quick but heavy footsteps could be heard further down. The Dark Fire Dragon would soon be here.
