The amount of questions I'm posting, I mut seem like the most ignorant person in the world or something...

How do I use the Topaz Talisman to send a PM? And to whom do I send it?

Well, under the old store system it would have been an option from your inventory. Since we moved to the new Shops, services are currently offline (which is what all the talismans use); never fear however, all you have to do is send Danikat a note and your Talisman, assuming you meet the advancement requirements for Yellow Belt. (if you have any links you need to show her, include them in your PM.)

Hopefully the service system will be restored ... erm, eventually. No promises on it being soon - we're a little short on programmer time. Sad

To give an item to someone, go through the "Your Items" link, then at the bottom there should be an ACTIONS section, pick Give, the item you want to send, and who to send it to. You can include your message at the same time. Wink

Glad that's done. At least I now know how to do it for when I get my red belt or above.

I'd like to say I know how the item system works... I just don't understand any of it.

If you look under the bit where you post your message, you see the item area. If you have a usable item, it will be in the drop-down menu. Then you just type in who is using it and who it will be used against. You click "submit" and voila! The computer comes up with a random sentence pertaining to the item, inserts the name and posts it for you.

At least, I think that's how it works. Razz

You can use it in any thread. It most often seems to get used in the Sidenote Game and The Evil Game.
