Guardians come out to play-ay!

That's right Guardians, I've broken into your secret forums to issue you this challenge, straight from the bowels of the Corrupted Cave itself.

I'm pretty sure you know what to expect from this post, so I'll make it brief. Us vs you, all out war EC vs Gameware style, fight to the last one standing or at least until the thread dies, that whole deal. I will emphasize that this isn't going to be some wimpy challenge with judgings or a friendly Olympics match here though, this is for real - all of us against all of you.

The battlegrounds? Your place, right here in the Guardian Citadel. Since it's unlikely that you'd come to get us it feels about right.

The gauntlet is down Guardians, you have exactly one week to give us your official response.

So Guardians, a week is well and truly up... Well, actually, I lie, for half of the world it's still Sunday, my bad for living in the future .

So, assuming that at least one of you is lucky enough to be living in Honolulu, you have around 10 hours to finish making up your minds.

I'll give you a day or so to get up your official reply, last thing I want is for you people to be whining that we didn't give you enough time and trying to use that as a reason for chickening out .

So after having given you far more time than any other Evil organisation would have, I have no response at all.

I guess I shouldn't be very surprised. Typical of you Guardians to go shooting off at the mouth and then bury your heads in the sand when trouble rears it's oh-so-scary head.

Now I imagine that things are going to get quite unpleasant. See, Fort and I have got a Council that's all geared for war on our hands, and now we have to tell them that they've got nobody to fight against. I can't see them liking that very much, we've been building up this Guardian/Council war for some time now... I guess we'll have to resort to the other plan then, that one was pretty popular too, though a little too destructive for my liking...

Well, it's not like what we do now is of any concern to you lot. We'll just find someone else to lash out at, you can just kick back and enjoy the fact that whatever we do next could've been averted by a simple message from any one of you.

EDIT: Anybody reading this at a much later date and feeling very concerned, don't be - the 'unpleasant' things that I was threatening the Guardians with was the Hackstar plot.

This is making me nervous....

We won the Felbeast challenge, but for most of it, there were only a few of us who were posting and we weren't the guardian's leaders. Now we won, that was posted a few days ago and NO ONE HAS POSTED in response except me!!! ARE WE DEAD OR WHAT????

We are about to be callenged by the EC, the best organized group in and around the Dojo and we are all MIA.

We should be fast at work planning strategies.

In case you didn't notice, CP, Shine, and I appear to be the only active Guardians at the moment. Be patient, damn it.

In case you didn't notice TBS, the Council has been waiting for this since June 15th (which, I might add, is long before you were a member of the Guardians). There's a limit to being patient.

It might be smart for you to let your seniors answer me TBS (you know, the ones who originally responded to this challenge and who know what's going on), rather than simply fan the flames like you're doing now.

Alright Guardians, after taking this back to the Council I've been told to do things differently.

First off, whilst four members doesn't sound like very much you do have to keep in mind that we're talking about 50% of your membership, as you only have eight members, right? GBE isn't coming back anytime soon, which means that you're now waiting for just three members. From what I can see, Goron [s:0deaf8920b]and Mitsukai both[/s:0deaf8920b] posted within the past month, and unlistedgabriel posted a bit after that... How hard could it be to track down just two [s:0deaf8920b]three[/s:0deaf8920b] members?

Don't bother answering that, as whether it's hard or not doesn't really matter - I'm not here to debate about Guardian instability, I'm here to talk about the challenge with the EC. The challenge is not just for whenever you Guardians feel that you can win it, it's something that we've wanted for months now, and now you're insisting that we give you more time to prepare yourselves?

We're not going to wait indefinitely anymore. You have one week to let us know if you seriously want this or not. If you want to back out and admit that the Evil Council is infinitely superior to the Guardians (in those exact words please), now's the time to do so.

EDIT: Mitsukai has appeared, meaning that the Guardians are now only missing two members (not including GBE).

I'm not here to say yes we'll fight, or no we decline. I'm here simply to let everyone know that I am back from my period of absence and that I will stand by my group's decision.
