((Ok, cool then. Sorry it took so long for me to reply, my internet has been really flaky lately.))

Ensichrys thought for a moment. He had dealt with enemies like this before. In nearly the exact position, he could remember condensing his electricity into a devastating, yet small sphere of plasma.

He intended to use this technique again. Concentrating zealously, Ensichrys condensed two mighty bolts between his hands. six seconds later, a paradoxically chaotic plasma orb was roiling in his grasp. It was ready to be let forth.

CRRRRACK!

The tree seemed to lurch as its base splintered and it fell. It was a scene

of catastrophe. Ensichrys fell with the tree directly onto the maddened scion plants. Before hitting the ground, he launched the plasma blast into the group of child Morbuzaks.

The Guivre lifted his head painfully as he looked upon the scene of the falling tree, he saw a terrible flare of azure light and heard a huge splintering. He tried to slither to his master's aid, but simply could not muster the strength.

Ensichrys pushed many burnt branches off his body. It was a painful ordeal. Ensichrys shoved upward mightily. He emerged hacking and coughing from a blackened and smoking crater that separated the formerly whole tree into halves. The scions were dead. Ensichrys' wingtips were singed. The Morbuzak had been behind the collapsing of this perfectly healthy tree.

A true creature of Chaos.

The Morbuzak nearly burst with pride upon seeing the success of its attack.

However, it was sensing the fight was about over. To finish it, it unleashed a quick Pepperthorn, sending the ring of thorns at Ensichrys.

Alright, the post limit has been reached by both parties, so this match is officially over. As the rules you two set out to begin with dictate, I am the judge and it's up to me to determine a winner, so here we go:

Chronos:

Believability: Ensichrys is one of the most bizarre characters I've ever come across, never before have I seen someone who's almost too scared to fight their opponent one instant and then stopping their assault to preen themselves another Razz. Both Ensichrys and the Guivre stayed as in character as I've ever seen them, no complaints here. 10/10

Powerplay: I was a little surprised to see how you handled this one, I'm not entirely sure about what you believe powerplaying to be but clearly you and I have some very different definitions. There were numerous instances in which you forced particular actions upon your opponent, and though most of them seemed minor in the long run it still seems a bit unfair. You did manage to take a lot of hits though, along with the major spell that knocked the Guivre out, so this helped you to recover a bit. -5/-10

Personality/Flair: Your style's pretty distinctive Chronos, and it shows really well in your posts. Though I didn't understand a lick of the Latin that you use it's become something of a unique trait amongst a few of them, and you were as descriptive as ever in delivering your side of the story. As a bit of a side note, I found it interesting to see two RPers who've named their moves and how differently they used them. 10/10

Cleverness/Inventiveness: I liked much of what I saw throughout your posts Chronos, and you seemed to do very well under the pressure that TheBlackSoul put you under, it was good to see you try a variety of different techniques when some didn't work. I was a little worried that killing all of those Morbuzak spawn would prove to be repetitive, but such concerns were quickly dispelled. I can't really mark you down that much here, aside from a few seemingly 'dumb' moves that were more a part of your style than any particular mistakes on your part (for example, Ensichrys forgetting that he had hands to fight with as well Razz). 19/20

Grammar/Spelling: I couldn't find too many mistakes, though there were a couple of instances in which you've used words that don't seem to quite fit in (perhaps the result of an automatic spell-checker?). 9/10

Overall Score: 43/50

TheBlackSoul:

Believability: An almost entirely non-emotive character is a concept that I found to be pretty interesting, and for much of this challenge I could see very little emotion coming from the Morbuzak (or anything else for that matter - non-emotive is not non-descriptive Razz). However, there seem to have been a few incidences that you slipped up on it's emotionless nature, I find it hard to believe that it'd be capable of 'bursting with pride', and the odd and abrupt addition of a shielding spell that is not mentioned at all in your character sheet also brings your score down a little. 6/10

Powerplay: For all the flaws in your posts I have to admit that you avoided powerplaying pretty well. I wasn't really a huge fan of how you pretty much spelled out most of your attacks but that's not powerplaying so I can't mark you down for it, and it was good to see that you didn't force them on your opponent. The Morbuzak seems able to do an awful lot in very little time (every chance you got you seemed to be spitting seeds all over the place Razz) and again, the mysterious shielding spell was a little dodgey, but you did take damage (especially the Morbuzak spawn Shocked ) so you haven't done too badly here. -4/-10

Personality/Flair: This one will cripple your overall score TheBlackSoul, as no offense, but it's the one thing that your posts really lack. Your posts were almost all far too short, I kept getting the feeling that you had given your spells names so that you'd never have to describe them to anyone, it felt like I was reading a summary of the fight more than anything. I can't really give you a zero, as the argument could be made that this non-descriptiveness is your own personal style, but I hope you can understand why your score is so low here. 1/10

Cleverness/Inventiveness: You had your ups and downs in this area, some of which I was quite impressed by. The fact that Ensichrys' shrieks were simply too high pitched to be heard by the Morbuzak was an interesting twist, and you had quite a few interesting moves. However, as I mentioned earlier, the sudden appearance of a previously unmentioned shielding spell causes you to lose quite a few points here, not only is it a cheap tactic, it's not very well thought out either. 14/20

Grammar/Spelling: Hard to complain about too much here, a few spelling mistakes and nothing too bad in the way of grammar, though again, I think that your posts would be better with slightly longer sentences. 9/10

Overall Score: 26/50

With these results it's quite clear that Chronos is the winner.

Thank you both for allowing me to read through and judge such an interesting match, and if either of you have problems with the scores that I gave you please PM me about it.
