What is going to happen with the 2007 Olympics? Are the matches going to judged... or is the whole thing on a temporary hiatus?

I'm not sure, though I wouldn't hoping that it'll be continued anytime soon if I were you.

A vast majority of the matches seem to have just died, due to one or both of the participants stopping, and they've not even made it to the limit required for them to be judged. Some of those participants have disappeared since then, so it'd be kinda hard to start it all up again.

Personally I feel that it just didn't have the same flavour as the first Olympics, those were awesome, whist these ones felt a little forced. Although getting shafted in the medal department for the first Olympics did kinda suck Razz

Maybe this time round the olympics were at the wrong time? I know as soon as they started everyone stopped with the RPing for a long time.

I wish the team olympics had continued, but it was set up so we wouldn't ever really go head to head, it was less interesting to fight imaginary characters we had to make up ourselves.

Yeah, about the olympics... many of the matches just dropped off, others didn't even really start so its hard for us judges to do much with them. As many of you realize, its hard to judge something as important as the olypmics on a single post. I'd like for them to be finished as much as anyone else, but I don't know how you'd even go about it anymore. Lost members, low post counts, and loss of contestant/judge interest. Quite the mess, if I do say so myself.
